Outdoor front yard lamp had been out and called Southwest Florida Electric Inc.
The electrical issue was found and was able to be repaired the same day.
The Electrician was very professional, informative and answered all my questions.
We would definitely refer there business to others and call them for any other Electrical issues.

Southwest Florida Electric Inc. recently did some work for me and I found them professional, efficient and trustworthy. Nate came out as scheduled, listened to our electrical concerns/questions and went about fixing issues. Although it was time consuming, he did an excellent job and the work was reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them and will be calling them for all our future electrical needs.

The team in the office and Nate were all great! Felt like they weren’t trying to just charge me to charge me and fixed the problem so fast. 10/10 recommend. The customer service is one of the best

Southwest was available to install an interloc transfer switch/outlet for my large portable generator on short notice with Hurricane Milton approaching. The electrician, Bert, did a clean and professional job. Additionally, the experienced electrician, “Bert” was friendly and very courteous and professional. He also installed some nice pendant fixtures and lights in place of some recessed lights.

This afternoon, we had several electrical problems serviced by Bert from Southwest Florida Electric. Bert was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, skilled and a very professional technician. Jessica, the receptionist who answered the phone and arranged a time was also very personable. I needed a technician today and they were able to provide someone for the call. Once again, Bert was also fantastic, we knew we were in good hands with him as our electrician. I highly recommend this company.

The office staff at Southwest Florida Electric was very responsive via phone and email communication and kept me in the loop through the permitting, scheduling and work process. The technician was punctual, professional and very knowledgeable about the process of replacing my electrical service meter panel. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction and provided suggestions and recommendations for future electrical breaker panel maintenance.

I needed to have three ceiling light fixtures replaced - moving from fluorescent to LED, and I supplied the new fixtures. Here is their process. The tech comes in and I reviewed the work I wanted to get done. He presented three options, one for the work I wanted done and two other options that included additional work. If you accept the quote, they do the work right away. If you decline, you have to pay $50 and they leave.

In my case I thought the estimate was 'very expensive', $680 to replace the fixtures. Remember I was supplying the new fixtures. I told the tech that I thought the estimate was very expensive and I explained my reasons. I have replaced enough light fixtures that I told him that each fixture should take 30-45 minutes with one of them in the garage with a high ceiling maybe an hour. 2 - 2/12 hours of work. The tech didn't disagree. They have a fixed price for each type of work. The cost to replace a light fixture is $225 each. Had I known that was the cost when I called, I never would have had them come out. I approved the quote - what was I going to do? I basically blocked the day to get the work done and I really didn't want to start the process all over with another company. I didn't have a choice, and they know it.

The tech started the work at 12:40 and was in his truck by 3:00. Actual work 2 1/2 hours. That works out to be over $270 per hour! The tech was professional, was not pushy to cross sell more services and cleaned up.

I cannot recommend Southwest Florida Electric.

Appraiser came out and gave me 3 different options. I really appreciated his honestly. I am an electrician myself so I know what is entailed. The work hasn’t been done yet. But I am impressed so far.
Part 2: The work has been completed and inspected. I am very happy with this company, they kept me informed every step of the way. I will definitely recommend them in the future.

We had Southwest Florida Electric install our whole house Generac generator. They did a fantastic job and worked with our Propane supplier to make the process completely seamless and they took care of all the permitting. We feel very confident in their ability to do a high quality and safe job, especially when dealing with electricity. We now have them come once a year to service our generator and they give us total peace of mind. The owner, Jaron, is a very nice person and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend Southwest Florida Electric for big jobs such as generator installations!

If you’re looking for a reputable electrical contractor, these are your guys! I had a generator transfer switch and new panel installed at my home, and the whole experience—from the initial quote to the final install—was excellent. Communication was clear and consistent throughout.

Jeremy was the technician, and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. His work was clean and professional. You can tell this company genuinely cares about providing great service to their customers.

Searched Yelp and found this company had good reviews so gave them a call to give me a free quote for installing a generator transfer switch.

Bert the technician arrived on time and gave me the full low-down on the 3 options and quotes for each of them. He was incredibly nice and knowledgeable.

The next day I accepted the quote, and Bert returned to do the install in 2 days. He was quick, professional, and showed me how to operate the new set-up and details about what i could run with the size generator i purchased.

I will also say the ladies in the office, Tobi and Jessica, were very nice to do business with and keep me informed of the project, technician arrival, and updates as necessary.

I am more than impressed with all aspects of this company, including communication, installation, and service. I would recommend to all, and SWFL Electric now has a permanent entry in my contacts for all my future electric needs!
