McCarthy Air provided a great value for the replacement of my 4 ton a/c system. They were impressive in their turn around time. The work was completed ahead of schedule and I was kept informed each step by f the way….. I highly recommend them .

Dan Hogoboom did a great job today! When Dan did my 6 month maintenance he noticed many of my duct joints in the attic were coming untaped & none of them were sealed properly allowing cooled air to escape in the attic & causing condensation to drip with the potential of ruining ceilings in my house. He came out today to fix all of them & I’m very grateful he noticed the issue. He was very considerate, polite, cleaned up after the repairs & completed the work quickly. Thanks, Dan!!

From start to finish The McCarthy team was courteous, friendly and professional. They were able to come out quickly which we really appreciated! We are happy with their services.

Brad and Jeremiah were thorough, courteous, professional as they serviced our system at the 6 month interval. We are in good order for the season! Since we purchased the system from them last year, we've had no issues. The A/C performs very well. It cools down our condo great and it lowered our electric bill, because it is more efficient. A big thank you to them and the very knowledgeable and courteous staff in the office! Customer service is alive and well in this company!

McCarthy Air was Great! I needed to replace my 22yr old system. The company is very professional from the initial call into the office, fair prices and they even offered to come by that day with a portable unit to keep me cool and comfortable till my appointment. The following morning the installers arrived on time as promised. I received text keeping me up to date on every aspect of the job
The installer's covered my floor's, worked quietly and were very respectful. When finished they cleaned up and tested everything before leaving. They completed the entire job within half a day and tested everything before leaving.
5 star service, very pleased and would highly recommend.

If I could give this company less than a 1 star I would. The only thing good I could say is that when our air conditioning unit broke down, late on a Friday afternoon, they were there within a couple of hours. It goes downhill from there. They diagnosed the issue very quickly and said they would get back to us with a price that evening. The tech said it would only take 20 minutes to fix when he came back with the part. They called with a price, and when we questioned the high cost, it was immediately reduced by $300. First bad sign. We told them we would get back to them in the morning. We then researched the part, which was the actual brand and not a knock off and it was considerably less. While we understand that a business has to make money, the quote was absolutely ridiculous. The tech told us he did accounting during the week and was on call on the weekends. The owner said that the tech was brand new. Another fabrication. We had it in writing from the tech that the owner sent the price which she said it was the tech and that he had no authorization to quote. We called another company in the morning and they came immediately and fixed the issue with a part from the maker of the unit. We were charged $400 less than this company. They gave us a discount then for being a new customer and honoured a $70 online coupon as well! I asked for our deposit money back from McCarthy and was told she needed to speak with the tech. Then more and more lies came out. She said the tech was at our house for over 2.5 hours. I told her he was there no more than 45 minutes and that we had it on our security camera to confirm. Once I told her about having the price in writing as well as calling her on her lies, she stopped responding. There’s so much more to the story but I think you will get the idea of how bad this company is. The community I live in have taken them off their list of recommended companies to use for current and future home buyers. It worked out well for the new company as we signed on for regular check ups to our unit as it is a bit older and will need to be replaced in the next few years. They will definitely get our business.
There’s so much more to this but I am sure you get the idea now. If you value integrity and honesty, DO NOT use this company! They are not trustworthy and are scammers!!!

Everything seemed great until the most recent interaction with our service contract. Long story short was told we needed a new heater and board on our 1.5 year old system. Even though it was under warranty the cost they wanted was $750. I had called for a check because the heater just didn’t feel as hot as I thought it would have. Called a second company out to get another estimate and come to find out there is absolutely nothing wrong with my system. The new company explained the temperature difference, showed me readings, and spent over 20 minutes explaining the entire system to me. Called McCarthy to cancel my contract, they wanted $120 and said the owner would be calling me back to discuss this treatment . Two weeks now and haven’t heard a word. Extremely disappointed in this treatment and the lack of attempting to remedy the situation.

Response to comment back: I have no missed calls and no VM’s. Also very interesting about the board because the tech told me the heater is what was broke and he just recommended replacing the board at the same time. You are welcome to call me again to try to sort this out, but the heater is working great for past 2-3 weeks.
