Constraction reviews in Gulfport, Florida

Got the WOW factor in working with Jim @ Native Green! I have the highest expectations when hiring a contractor and Jim delivered. Just build at brand new modern home in Kenwood and hired Native Green to enclose my entire yard in horizontal fencing. I interviewed 2 other companies, including one I had used on my last house. Hands down, Jim was the choice. He is professional, thoughtful, courteous, caring and has an eye for design. He helped with design recommendations not only up front, but even during the week of installation as I was unsure of how I wanted to handle the front yard. Enclose or not enclose? He was patient, built a section so I could see it with him, and even adjusted the height on the spot so I could make the right decision. He was excited about working on my fence, took a great deal of pride in his work. He cared about how happy I was with the final product. I have an amazing looking fence, but more importantly it supports my vision in how I utilize the space. I'm super happy with my experience with Jim & Native Green!

I wish there more of a star ratings. Because This company would receive alot more stars from me. James (Owner/Operator) Came to my house and Quoted me a deal on vinyl fencing in the rain. He show me the upmost respect, Honesty and Professionalism that got me wanting his company to do the job. I was shock to see him on the day of the project. A manager/ owner working with his crew out in the blazing heat putting up our fence. I was very impressed 👏 So, I made sure by coming out to see if they needed any ice for their cooler. Cause working outdoors is very hard when its so hot. Plus they did one big favor by making sure that my corner of my yard was closed up so our dogs don't get out. Thank you James and Daniel for all your hard work. I'm very very happy. I would gladly recommend Native Green Fence and landscaping to anyone that needs wants the job done right!

Wonderful company! From the initial proposal, communication, follow-up, and execution, everything was handled with excellent attention to detail, professionalism, and friendliness. And I LOVE my beautiful new fence. A special thank you to Sean and Mitch, who did a beautiful job and finished even quicker than expected. They were a definite pleasure to work with.

I cannot recommend Native Green Fence and Landscaping highly enough. Austin, Mitch, and Dylan recently installed a stunning brown vinyl fence on my property, and the experience exceeded every expectation. The craftsmanship was impeccable, and the finished fence — delivered on time and within budget — blends seamlessly with and enhances my tropical landscaping.

From start to finish, the team was courteous, professional, and attentive, collaborating with me to design the perfect look for my property. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality were evident in every step.

The result is beyond beautiful, and I could not be happier. Five stars across the board — a company that truly delivers excellence.

Jim and his crew were outstanding. Any questions I had they answered and created a top notch board-on-board, stick built fence! Thank you and your team for a great new fence. Work was completed in October 2023 and has shown it's high quality craftsmanship by withstanding the storms we've already experienced since its completion.

If you want a high quality, durable, and attractive wood fence, I can recommend Native Green without reserve. Jim Johnston, the owner, is a pleasure to deal with. His crew of Austin, Mitch, and Dylan are skilled and careful, and left our yard in better shape than before they came.

Native green is the best!! Jim is so friendly and easy to work with and genuinely cares about his clients. I am absolutely in love with my new fence and they even tore out trees i did not want. The job was completed super fast and their pricing is more than reasonable for such quality work! 10/10 recommend!!

Jim and his crew did a great job removing our old wood fence and installing a pvc/vinyl one. From start to finish, the communication was on point. He had great suggestions and listened to what we wanted. We love how it all turned out and would 100% recommend.

We would like to thank Native Green for doing a wonderful job with our 2 new fences. Quality work, and materials, great crew, and they worked hard to get everything installed and looking great! We 100% recommend Jim and crew at Native Green Fence and Landscape.

Jim and team were exceptional from beginning to end. From immediate responses during initial inquires, quick quoting, tremendous communication, and quick scheduling of work. The crew was highly professional, courteous, and focused on the best possible product and outcome. The end product exceeds our expectations. Thank you Jim and team...you are all first class!

Jim and his crew Mitchell, Sean, Ricardo just completed a 2 and 1\2 day fence installation with excellence and precision. Totally recommend Jim for your fence needs. From the very beginning his attention and desire to deliver a quality product and service was top notch. His written proposal was so thorough. He was always available for questions and I quickly knew after meeting Jim that he was serious about his company commitment to excellence noted on his website. Thank you Jim and team for your outstanding service from start to finish.

Can't say enough about Jim and his guys. They just finished yesterday. My house is an absolute quagmire with many tight areas and concrete everywhere. They worked hard all week and used my input and their experience to hone the final product. Tons of little touches everywhere that show their skill. The fence is absolutely perfect; I've already gotten a bunch of compliments.
Update: I stained the horizontal part with a brush and some recommendations from Jim. Turned out great!

I'm going to update this review with photos soon, but I just wanted to say that Jim and his crew are awesome! Jim came to our house, and I got a good vibe from him instantly! Our vinyl fence was shifted from the hurricane in 2024, and we wanted it fixed. Jim and his crew came in, and restored our fence to the way it was prior to the hurricane if not better.

Jim and his crew did a fantastic job on this fence for me and my neighbors. They built over 100' of fence and 2 gates from scratch in less than 2 days, including a tricky situation with an electrical transformer sitting on the property line.
The whole process was handled professionally and efficiently.
They were friendly, hard-working and clearly take pride in a job well done. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone and would hire them again!

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to go with Native Green Fence and Landscape to build our picture frame fence. It was a pleasure working with Jim. Jim and his crew (Austin and Mitch) are passionate about their work and it shows in every detail of our fence. We had a few challenges with the terrain but they provided the best solutions along the way.

Native Green fences sell themselves! We saw them in our neighborhood and knew Native Green was the only fence company we would contact.
Jim Johnston, the knowledgeable owner, helped us to design exactly what we wanted. He also worked along with his crew of Austin, Mitch and Dylan. The team worked together seamlessly doing demolition and construction. Our fence was custom-made by experienced and talented tradesmen. We expected excellence and they achieved it. We are very appreciative.

Amazing workmanship and product Jim uses is the best of the best! If you want it done right, hire Native Green, don’t waste time getting other quotes. Jim and his crew are like a fine tuned machine the way they all work together as if they are working on their own property! We have a huge yard and had a metal fence all the way around which he removed as well as brush and some small trees which was a lot of work. Our fence looks Beautiful with a double gate and a 4ft gate on the other side. We could not be happier. Thanks Native Green! Jim, guys, we are beyond happy and won’t hesitate to recommend and refer. Lonnie and Rebekah

**1 YEAR LATER UPDATE**
There’s a reasons they have so many amazing reviews. Incredible service- we had Jim complete the back of our home too because we had such an great experience. He made sure our fence in the front looked great, and the gates at the front entrance closed seamlessly. We will always use them for any fence service and refer to friends and family. Thank you as always Jim!

From the initial consultation to the final installation, their team (Jim, Austin, Mitch, and Dylan) shows true professionalism, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. The crew is skilled, courteous, and respectful, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. Their fences are solid, level, and look fantastic. They did a great job on our small fence with a gate on each side of our house. Price was about 25% less than another company we quoted with and they were in and out within a few hours with three guys. The other company we almost went with had a 3-4 week timeline and these guys had the material in stock and got in done in less than one week from when we contacted them. Great communication via email to coordinate project and quote. I’d highly recommend them.
