I have only given one negative review in my life as I want to show grace when poor service has been given. I scheduled service a couple of weeks ago to spray my lawn. I was told I’d receive service on Monday. Monday Tuesday Wednesday went by. No Trugreen. I had paid for the treatment in advance. I called and they had to schedule me for today ( no explanation or apology) . So I took a vacation day to be able to show them where to spray. I happen to be on my mower out front while their truck drove up and down my street several times, past me waving at him. He stopped up the street. I attempted to quickly call them but since the call center won’t give out a local number, I watched him drive away. The call center said they would contact the driver , gave him my number for him to call me and he wouldn’t turn around but would add me into the end of his route. He indicated that heavy equipment was blocking my driveway (?????) and he couldn’t drive up my driveway. A another lie!!! A couple of hours later I received a notice canceling my service and that they would reschedule at a future date. I called the customer service department AGAIN and asked what could they do to make this right. She offered to reschedule me for another day. I said no that I was unwilling to burn another vacation day waiting to see if they would ever show and that they still had an hour before they closed. They could have made this somewhat right by making me a priority and doing our lawn today as promised. I called customer service for a refund. I suggested they contact their local office with my experience. I am now considering contacting the better business bureau. Way too much frustration to just get my lawn sprayed. And I’m watching my lawn die.

The service was great but there was some miss communication. Full coverage of my lawn was not done because of like of communication. I believe this has been resolved after talking with Mrs. EVA. If there need to be a price adjustment for what I want I am willing to discuss this.

Stay away from this company. They’re the absolute worst. Three months ago our lawn was healthy and green. After three months with their service it is overrun with weeds and most of our lawn is now dead. I have called in multiple times to get technicians out to the property to look at what’s happening and no one shows up. Every time I call back and they claim to have no record of my prior calls in their system. Even after elevating the call, I was told I would get a call from my local Tallahassee office within two days and once again no response. Oddly enough, they never have any issue when it comes to processing our monthly payment.

Since having Trugreen service our lawn, it has thrived, and we are much happier with the way it looks. It’s more lush, thick, and the weeds are down to a minimum. They show up as scheduled and get the work done. Couldn’t recommend them more.

I had a fantastic experience with TRUGreen thanks to their lawn specialist, Danny. He delivered top-notch customer service from start to finish. Danny did an excellent job aerating my lawn — thorough, efficient, and professional throughout the entire process. What really stood out was the knowledge he shared with me about the next steps to help my lawn thrive. He took the time to explain what I should be doing seasonally and gave tailored recommendations specific to my yard’s condition. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about the results and his customers. I highly recommend Danny to anyone looking for quality lawn care and outstanding service.

A year ago I paid TruGreen in advance for the entire year to ensure a fair chance at maintaining my pretty nice lawn. August 29 2025 I called to notify them we had a serious problem, likely either chinch bugs or brownspot. I was promised someone would come to diagnose and take appropriate steps the following Tuesday or Wednesday. A month later no one had ever come or called. That began six months of back-and-forth during which TruGreen did absolutely nothing to rectify the problem, but unleashed a cadre of Customer (No)Care representatives so assure me they were sorry, would feel the same as I in my situation, and what an important customer I am. I have come to believe that TrueGreen believes customer care is effected over the telephone rather than in the customer’s yard. I asked only that they take good care of my lawn and do what they promised to do. They have failed miserably on both counts. I have lost large areas of my lawn, now either bare ground or covered in weeds. Several weeks ago, they dispatched the field manager for my area. We met personally and had phone calls. He apologized profusely, too, as the others did and described a plan to keep me as a customer with applications of insecticides, herbicides, and whatever else would be appropriate. Today the applicator came and did nothing other than fertilize, which does nothing to address the root problem and worse, just fertilizes the weeds that have largely replaced my lawn. I cannot recall ever dealing with a more ineffective, disorganized and untrustworthy organization. Making matters worse, the field manager acted surprised and suggested I must be mistaken because the applicator had a problem with the truck and wasn’t coming today, despite the sign in my yard as evidence they had been here and the text message telling me the service was completed along with a pdf link to a summary describing the application as nothing other than more fertilizer.

I think the service is worth the price and the weeds are controlled. Our complaint is that several times they have sprayed at the neighbor's house. Neighbor stated he has gone out on occasion and told them they were at wrong house. Always ensure a flag is left on lawn before paying bill.

I do NOT recommend Collins Land Services!!! I tried to paste a letter I sent the owners, Brandi & Edwin Collins, with the payment, but it exceeded Googles word limit. Please see attached photos, because I screenshotted, the letter, for people to read, my experience, with Collins Land Services. PLEASE NOTE, that neither, of the owners, sent me any form of correspondence, after reading the letter. They chose to ignore it!!

Absolutely incredible company to deal with! I knew I was going to hire them when they returned my phone call in an extremely timely manner and then showed up to look at my property exactly when they said they would (these things don’t happen anymore)! Edwin explained my different options to help manage my land and gave a great price too. Day of the work, Shane was there early to get ready and did a fantastic job. What a hard working crew they have and really took pride in their work. They completely transformed my property from an overgrown mess into a well manicured plantation. I have used other land management companies in the past. Never again will I use anyone but Collins. What a great experience, can’t thank them enough!

Great service from beginning to end. Edwin got right back to me when I left a message, came right out and provided an estimate. The guys who did the 'Forest Mulching' were great - polite, personable and hard working (came in under the original estimate). I recommend them without hesitation and will use Collins Land Services again if the need arises.

I had work done by Collins Land Service yesterday. The whole process went very smooth! The owners were very good at answering all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner. The gentleman who came to my home (Andrew and Will) were very polite. They completed the work quickly and efficiently! I'm very pleased with the ease I had working with this company and would highly recommend them!
