I contacted Morris Tree Service to remove a small oak on the easement due to it beginning to damage the sidewalk. I had picked them since they’d obtain an arborist report and would perform the service for it to be cut, removed, grind the stump.

When Dan came to provide the initial quote, he said they’d also remove the mulch from the grinding as well as put some soil and sod on top to complete it. This was important to me. I wasn’t using a company that didn’t do it start to finish. My goal was start to finish with a single company. They were about 20% more than the other companies I considered but I wanted quality work to be done and was willing to pay more for it.

The service that was actually performed was great. They completed the removal and grinding the stump but they never showed proof of an arborist report and didn’t remove the mulch, lay soil, and sod. The crew explained that they don’t drop sod so I looked at my quote again and he was right. There was nothing outlining the items that weren’t complete. I was told, by Dan at the time he came out for a quote, that the job would be 1.5 hours but crew was in and out in 45 minutes. So, I take ownership for not seeing that on the quote.

So, I was over promised and results were under delivered. I spent an additional 3 hours digging up the mulch myself, bagging it, and then another 2 hours to go to Lowe’s and back for supplies and put soil and sod down myself. That 20% more I paid ended up being for even less work than others were to provide.

I’ve got postpartum health problems, including carpal tunnel in both hands. I’m dealing with treatment t for that and a newborn so hiring a company to do it all and then not get it completed was dissatisfying as a consumer, not to mention my hands were a problem for days after that shoveling and additional work.

I’m giving 4 stars because the job that WAS done was great. I’d still recommend Morris Tree Service and I’d consider using them again if and when the quote outlines what was requested.

They did great work! They came out first thing in the morning and worked all day. Took out trees and cut back some huge trees. When they were done they cleaned up very nicely. Professional estimate and work. Highly recommend

Watched Morris Tree service at their finest today with taking our next door neighbors oak tree. Crew was professional and cleanup was great. Recommending to sub-divisions within East Lake Woodlands.

These guys were absolutely fantastic help with our needs! Polite, punctual and courteous... something that seems to be lacking by many other companies! In and out, and even cleaned after! I would give them 10 stars if I could! Thank you again Morris Tree Service!

I stumbled upon their ad on Google while searching for something else, and I found it intriguing. The ad included a map of their location, which reminded me that I needed to get my trees trimmed. I contacted them and they came out to give me a quote and schedule the service for the next day. They arrived with top-notch equipment and got to work right away. The results were impressive, as you can see from the photos. Overall, I'm very pleased with their service and would recommend them to anyone looking for professional tree trimming.

We hired the after Hurricane Milton to remove a tree fell on neighbors roof they charge $2500 per hour since it only took and hour to cut the tree up dragged large limbs to the curb, for Pasco County to remove, and approximately 2ft of tree stump remains sticking up out of the ground. When they picked up the payment my husband told them how disappointed we were in that the tree was left at the curb, and the stump sticking up out of the ground . Last year we hired them to cut down a tree 2 times larger they chipped it grounded the stump and removed all the debris. Our opinion is that they used the Hurricane Miltion circumstances to price gouge and that's very wrong and sad to do business this way.

First of all, the price came in well under the competition.
Secondly, Anthony was professional and “oh did I mention the affordable price”.
Two days later, as scheduled, the 5 men showed up right on time to take down my very sick pine tree and trim 5 of my Palm trees.
Everyone that I spoke to on that day spoke English as their first language which was an enormous help.
My tree was down and cut up within 3 hours or so, hauled away, and the area cleaned up. My 5 Palm trees were trimmed perfectly and you can tell they were done professionally. No sloppy work!

My experience with Morris Tree was 100% positive. The job was completed on time and exactly as promised. The pricing was fair. The staff was professional. They cut down a tree and removed the stump. They removed branches from a large tree. Not easy. Highly recommended.

Morris Tree Service did an awesome job on my two 50' palms. I had plants and small oriental trees all around them no damage and they cleaned up so good you could not tell they were here.

Tyler & Brandon were absolutely fantastic today! They came and took down 2 HUGE oak trees that were dead and at risk of falling on our vehicles & fences, and cleaned up like there was never a mess to begin with! I would recommend Morris Tree Service to ANYONE looking for ANY landscaping job needing to be done! The office team sent email confirmation of date and time, and followed thru on the day of service. The actually arrived early, completed the work, and left my yard neat and clean. I can easily recommend them to friends, family, and neighbors.

After a couple of delays in my service I was ready to cancel Morris Tree Service. I am glad I didn't. They arrived and explained the delay. Anthony was very professional and friendly. The small job I needed was taken care of in a very timely manner at a decent price. Good service.

Morris Tree Service was amazing from the time they came out to do the estimate to the actual removal. James was very detailed and easy to understand throughout the process. His work crew treated us very well and worked hard to take care of our needs. They pleasant, on time, and showed care for our home. The timeframe from start to finish was amazing. We had a pine tree that was extremely large and in an impossible spot to remove requiring a expert skilled team. The tree towered over our home and neighbors property . Morris Tree Service did a great job trimming our giant Oak tree that extended out over the water. They had to work in a tight space to avoid all the obstacles and managed it perfectly. They were on time, professional, and cleaned up well. Highly recommend.
