Andy and his team are amazing. Andy has helped me out many many times I’ve been on many of his jobs and seen many of his projects. They all are spectacular the amount of detail he puts into all of his jobs to make everything beautiful. He has immaculate taste, and his designs are awesome. He doesn’t have any bad reviews. The few reviews that you’ve seen recently are from his competitors who are very jealous of Andy Andy is a Christian man. He’s humble and grateful about everything that he does. Five stars.

Andy Turner and the entire team at Serenoa took my lackluster overgrown backyard with a few eyesores and gave me an oasis. They created a custom design for me with just a little input and made changes at my request when I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted. They worked quickly and tirelessly and followed up to check on things, and addressed anything that didn’t work or needed tweaking. I would recommend them to anyone looking to change their yard into a place you will want to spend all your time.

Where do we begin?! We cannot say enough about Andy and Serenoa Landscape Design. We approached Andy with an idea of the look and feel we wanted to achieve with our yard (we were pretty much starting from scratch), but we didn't know how to achieve that look. Andy's expertise was evident from the beginning. He took the time to truly listen to the look and feel that we wanted, and even took the time to drive around our neighborhood to get specific ideas of plants, etc. that we liked/disliked to ensure his final plans aligned with our wishes.

Andy (who I secretly - but now not so secretly😊 and VERY respectfully) call the "plant nerd," was able to name specific plants (by their scientific Latin name!) based on our very. basic descriptions, and provided super helpful advice based on his years of experience, as to plants that would work best with our overall landscape. For example, there were a few plants that we wanted to include in the design, and Andy said that he would be happy to include them, but also educated us as to potential upkeep/maintenance issues and practical considerations (e.g. one plant had a beautiful bright flower bloom, but Andy said that for the greater part of the year, the flower does not bloom, so we'd only be able to enjoy the look we loved for a month or two a year). He has made us lovers of #bromeliad gardens!!! He installed one to make a drab area under one of our oak trees truly pop and come alive. We loved it so much that we had him install another bromeliad garden under our other oak tree! It has become one of my favorite aspects of our yard.

From our first brainstorming meeting, all the way through landscape installation, Andy ensured that we were comfortable with the plan and stayed in close contact with us. He was there during installation to ensure everything ran smoothly, and made sure we were happy with the final product. We continue to get so many compliments on our landscaping from our neighbors. Serenoa Landscaping did a wonderful job on our front lawn. Our home is 5 years old and was in need of major landscaping. I did my research on finding a local company that knew our landscape and would add native plants. Andy listen to me and did a wonderful job tweaking his design and using plants we already had. I received immediate response to my calls and texts. This was very important. The job was done professionally and respectfully. We are extremely pleased with how it looks and hope to do the back of the house soon.

Andy Turner is the best! At our first meeting we discussed how we wanted to replace the existing “builder grade” landscaping with something much more colorful, tropical, and evocative of Florida. We also expressed our interest in relatively low maintenance and hearty plants that could withstand the occasional cold winter days while thriving in summer. Andy took us to a recent project in our neighborhood and clearly articulated his design preferences, plant selection, accents and texture additions (partially buried hand selected boulders) to create a living work of art. We immediately knew that we and Andy were on the same page…he understood what we were looking for and we were happy and confident to let Andy create a design for us.

A few weeks later, Andy presented us with a design and a quote. Although he was open to alterations and owner specified customization, we were “all in” on respecting his choices and confident in his landscape design experience to accept his design without modification.

Terms and conditions were easy to understand; there were no surprises. We accepted his quote and moved forward with the project.

Andy’s teams were outstanding. They worked closely with us during the excavation phase, assuaging our concerns for buried utilities. The team was particularly keen to our rainwater redirection and irrigation system modification concerns and addressed each issue professionally. Their assurances were not just talk; the team delivered.

The crews moved swiftly and confidently, especially as Tropical Storm (soon to be Hurricane) Nicole was threatening to disrupt installation. Fortunately, the team completed the planting work before the storm blew through and returned afterward to install the lighting and complete the irrigation and rainwater drainage modifications. Andy was a constant presence overseeing the project and answering our questions as they arose. Neither he nor his team needed to be “chased down.” Refreshingly, the teams were on site every morning at 0800 and worked full days until the project was completed.

We can’t have been more pleased with the results. We are already looking forward to what the spring growing season will bring to the living art that Andy Turner and Serenoa Landscape Design created in our home front. We most strongly recommend Serenoa Landscape Design for your landscape project.

Serenoa Landscaping exceeded all our expectations. We previously worked with a company for some landscaping needs. They did a decent job, but we wanted more! We decided to find a company that hand stunning designs that were more than the normal cookie cutter designs. From start to finish The Serenoa team was exceptional . They developed detailed plans for us and helped us stay in budget. Throughout the process Jen and Andy had great communication and helped us every step of the way. Our yard needed native plants for a wildlife preserve , in another place plants to accent a path, and a front yard design where west-facing plants get baking hot in the late afternoon sun. Enter Andy Turner, plant master and designer extraordinaire. After taking the yard down to its bare essentials, he brought in rich topsoil. He worked with and coordinated several contractors providing irrigation, lighting, turf, and pavers. The gardens are spectacular, rich with native Florida plants, succulents, agaves, and colorful flowers in every view. Our yard fills my heart with joy. Andy and the team did a wonderful job of transforming our backyard from a barren fairway into a tropical paradise. He was very easy to work with, adjusting the project to fit our budget and ensuring that we were satisfied, in the end. He and his team have the full capability to ensure appropriate plant health, Aesthetic, irrigation, stonescape, etc. Truly, a great experience, we already have him drawing up our next project for the side of the house.
