Employee deliberately ran a red light. Very rude. Not good representation of company

Cannot say enough about the quality and thoroughness of Speciality Tree's work! Everything from Early's expertise, the treament of the trees, and the clean up was perfect!

THIS IS A GREAT TREE COMPANY THEY DO GREAT WORK AND ALWAYS KEEP THERE WORD THEY HAVE RESPECTFUL WORKERS AND AMAZING BOSS MAN IF YOUR NEEDING A GOOD TREE COMPANY THIS IS THE ONE TO GET !!!!!!

Knowledgeable ,and friendly. Removed Mistletoe toe ,Spanish Moss and fungal limbs. My tree looks the best it has in 6 years since I moved to my home.

We would never rely on this company for any advice about the health of a tree. After we complained to the City about our concerns that an 8o foot tall sweet gum tree in our neighbor's yard appeared to be in mortal decline and therefore a danger to adjoining properties, this company provided a report that the tree was healthy. Based on that report the City rescinded its order that the property owner have the tree removed. One year later we personally inspected the tree for the first time, and discovered a large hole at the base of the tree indicating that the tree was rotten inside. We again reported the tree to the City, whereupon the City again required that the property owner to remove the tree. This time the property owner had the tree removed. When the tree was taken down, it was discovered that the entire trunk was hollow. We question the competency / integrity of this company for erroneously attesting that the tree was healthy when it was obvious when they inspected the tree the previous year, the base of the tree was hollow and rotten to the core.

David Markley is professional and honest. He is an ISA Certified Arborist and was very knowledgeable. They had fair prices and the crew that took down my tree was professional, safe, and cared about my property.

If I could give less than a 1 I would. This is the first review I have ever posted and it is because of the terrible service I just received. I am in process of trying to get some trees trimmed in my back yard and a representative from Specialty Tree came to my home and proceeded to explain to me that I was not clear. I explained I do not understand industry terms to please let me know what it would cost to clean up some dead limbs on my trees. He then stated I am not being clear and clean up limbs means nothing. He then called me a 40year old home owner names . I asked him to leave my house as he proceeded to attempt to speak down to me for not knowing his industry terms. I would never refer this company this is the worst experience I have ever received. You do not call someone names at their own home nor do you speak down to them. This is unacceptable and un called for from any company trying to sell their services.

Great company to do business with. Specialty Tree Surgeons has been around for decades and has long standing clients through out the area. They specialize in tree preservation and their expertise and knowledge is second to none. They recently did an excellent job thinning out a large oak tree that overhangs my home and did a great job!

We just went through Helene which killed many people due to high winds knocking down trees. My husband and I want to check the health of our gigantic and old trees in front/back yards, for fear that their branches or entire tree will fall. I spoke with early piety/owner about our concerns. I asked if he takes a sample of the tree/s to teat their health. He became crotchety and told me he has been doing this for 50 years and can basically tell if a tree is unhealthy. He asked for my address and looked our house up while on the phone. He told me he is the main arborist for Jacksonville and the beaches. I responded warmly and positively to this. He asked me if I even looked at his website and I said yes. He then told me that trees don’t kill people. Well, the trees that were knocked down by the cat 4 hurricane just killed many people. We will not be using this company. Poor people skills. He just may care more about the trees than human beings. We are going to use Southern Roots Tree Service. They are not arborists, but they are kind and professional.

This review is strictly on their customer service and not their actual job service since I never received any. I called the owner who took my call on the weekend about my 30 year old tree that I expressed my dire need to take a look at it since it had a crack in it from the recent wind storm. I expressed some immediate need in Rod and Cable it. I gave a description of the tree and he said I’m describing excluded bark. He said he could try to be there late that same day which I wasn’t expecting or the next morning.

I gave him my information. The next day follows to about 1:30pm so I call him to find out what the hold up is and he doesn’t remember my phone call. So after giving him my information again he said he already gave it to one of his workers who would try to be there by the next day or the following.

I basically told him at that point, either show up today or not at all and that was the end of our conversation.

I received a call back a hour later from him saying since you’re already mad at me there’s no sense doing business with you.

I’m glad he called it off any way because I would have probably told the guy coming to not come anyway. I don’t understand why business owners lack fundamental customer service skills when you’re working with people from day to day. All it takes is a mere 1 minute phone call to say you’re running behind or you can’t make your schedule. In his case he just totally forgot to write me down.

I don’t believe for one minute he gave me to another person when he didn’t even recall my conversation with him until I had to jar his memory again. Anyway his Customer service sucks, I don’t know about anything else. I gave him 2 stars for calling me back and canceling the appointment!

Very Expensive! High pressure sales tactics. (The actual crew was fine.) Never again! There are plenty of good companies that don't pressure homeowners. I should have shopped around and taken as much time as possible. Instead, I let someone create an "urgent" situation without getting another opinion . . . because of how knowledgeable I'd heard they were.

Super professional and unlike any lawn service I’ve seen in Jax. Communication was tremendous. They did everything they promised and gave us a very fair quote. They were quick to set up the first mow. We came home to a wonder site. The edging and weed eating made our yard look better than anyone else on the block. Thank you guys for everything
