I'm very glad I found Lawn Jax. They have very affordable prices and have been very professional. I hired this company last summer and they make the process very easy. They can take care of all of your lawn service needs, from basic maintenance to detailed landscaping projects. I love the online payment method too. Everything is user friendly and I get reminder emails a day or two before they come out to service my home.

I hired Sue and team from Lawnjax for weed removal and mulch refresh around my treebeds and foundation. The services, once completed, were absolutely excellent. The only issue I experienced was that I was required to pay the invoice over a week before anyone arrived for any work—a rather compromising and uncomfortable position considering what was paid. At the end of the day everything worked out fortunately.

Alex from Lawn Jax and the rest of the team are outstanding! We live in Chicago and actually arranged everything over the phone to do my elderly parents lawn in Jacksonville for them each summer; and we keep coming back every year. The guys always come when they say they are going to, and they always do a great job with the lawn and all the edging. They are fast, always courteous, and me and my parents could not be happier with their services. I would definitely recommend them to everyone for all your lawn care needs.

The maintenance of my yard by Sunway is always a manicured and aesthetic outcome. I have been using their service for a few years. I find the staff professional and the communication is always timely. I highly recommend them.

We had LawnJax come out to our property and perform some much needed maintenance. Sue and Jimmy did an excellent job. Sunway has done a great job of transforming my yard. The company I had before just cut grass. Sunway has great attention to detail, edging, cutting the grass at the right height, trimming and shaping my bushes. Sue is fantastic and responds to whatever need I have. I give the company an A++.

I moved into a home I was told provided lawn service. The quality of the yard was so so, lots of trees and debris, but I did not know what the contract provided so I never complained when they didn't rake up leaves or pull weeds I did that myself. They tend to blow all the leaves into a corner and leave them. Then within first month they broke a pipe out front that a hose was attached to. The problem was they actually turned the water off to the entire house! Instead of just letting us know. I had no idea when I got home from work. My Mom said she didn't know, just that water had stopped working right after lawn service left! I called JEA assumning it was something they needed to fix. They send out a tech who shows us an outdoor faucet that's knocked clean off and that the valve had been turned off. So my husband went to Lowe's replaced the pipe in about 30min. What THEY should of done! Didn't want them back after that..not because accidents don't happen but because they were dishonest. The following week they edged Soo deep they cut the new cable line that just got placed😵‍💫 Again never let us know, just left, had to wait hours on phone trouble shooting with Xfinity to then wait for a technician who showed us it was cut!!! Now at this point I am placed in contact with Sue who assured me her people would NEVER do this ...yet THEY DID!!
Literally wouldn't waist my own precious time had they knocked on door to say hey we accidentally broke this would been Soo much nicer. Then outta no where the service has just went down hill...recently they come when they want, or have skipped services all together..so I reach out to explain, I need things to go back regular..only for Sue to say I'm unreasonable and I can find another service 🤣🤣I would have fired this company after the first incident when they shut my water off if I actually paid them. The landlord lives in another state so has no idea what they do or don't. But stated they wanted to give them another chance because it's been a while since they have used them. If you have money to burn and dont need consistency choose Sunway. There's nothing special about the work they provided at this property. Mediocre at best!!

#1 MY DEMANDS!? I NEVER INTERACTED with the lawn team nor did I request anything at all from them... EXCEPT HONESTY WHEN THEY BROKE THINGS REPEATEDLY!! So I'd love to know what it was you claim I demanded because not one time did I ask them to do anything specific pertaining to the lawn..that statement is a complete fabrication on your part..THE OWNER!!!!
#2 Its clear by recent reviews Sue is needed to "oversee" the jobs your workers do or other customers are unsatisfied! You are absolutely correct in stating I didn't pay your company a penny..nor WOULD I! IN FACT I WANTED YOU GONE AFTER THE FIRST THING GOT BROKEN..it was the landlord who fought to keep you here but after once again more things were damaged I said I DO NOT WANT THEM BACK OR I CAN MOVE!! SO guess who is still here!? ME!!! NOT YOUR COMPANY!!
JUST Keep messing peoples things up so Sue has to oversee all the jobs!! It's not gunna change the fact that your workers broke a water pipe and then turned the entire valve to cut the water at this residence!! JEA had to come out to show us the valve had been turned off right after you guys left for the day...so sorry but 2+2=4 unless you wanna argue that too..I'm sure you would try!! Don't bother saying best regards because you have do not any decency in your response!

Sue is GREAT!!! She really knows her stuff and is very attentive to what we wanted. Thank you Sunway Landscape Services for making our home and yard look beautiful! We interviewed several companies, and Sunway stood head and shoulders above the rest.

My Mom originally hired them to care for the yard for my house that she was living in and both of us were impressed with the quality of their work and personable crew. After my mom passed away, I moved back into the house and retained the relationship and have not been disappointed.

Hired LawnJax Lawn Care almost 2 years ago because so many homes in our community used them in the Mandarin area. We couldn’t have been happier with their service. The pricing reflects their quality. We liked them so much we hired LawnJax over this past year for a total revamp/landscape design for our front yard. They did a great job and our yard has so much more color now, which my wife wanted. Sue and her team take extra care of the plants they installed and we’re very pleased with the results of both routine maintenance as well as landscaping jobs. Support local and hire with confidence knowing these people stand behind their work/service!

Sue and her crew always do a meticulous job on the regular mowing, weed eating, edging, and trimming bushes; the lawn looks gorgeous when they're done. A few years ago she removed some dead junipers for us, but it wasn't as easy as you might think. Our flower beds are filled to a depth of 6-8 inches of lava rock, and there are buried wires for outdoor lighting. Sue took great care not to disturb the wiring. She was also able to dig enough lava rocks out of the space to allow me to add soil and plant some annuals. Soon after, Sue replaced some sod in the front and back yards. Most recently she designed flower gardens and her crew again did a careful job of installing the new plants. We have never been disappointed by her work, and we feel that her prices are very fair. I would highly recommend SunWay to anyone looking for quality lawn care.

UPDATED REVIEW 5/6: We used to be happy with this service (see below) but then they stopped coming. We were charged for April and the lawn was not done - and this has happened before. We’ve tried calling and emailing, but no one is answering either. I’ve left two messages. I am not sure if they went out of business and didn’t tell anyone, but if you use them you should check your charges against when they have come. Hopefully everyone is ok but we are switching services.

I get weekly lawn and garden maintenance done by Sunway, and they always go above and beyond. I have no weeds, leaves, or branches in my yard or garden, and everything is cut, edged, and blown away perfectly every time. We love them!

Sue and her team are very professional and would recommend to anyone in the Jacksonville Area. They maintained my front and backyard while I was away for work taking care of all of the mowing and edging. Over the winter time they trimmed the bushes out front to get them ready for the new year and took care of the weeds in the beds. Sue is very responsive and communicates well. I am very grateful for their services.

Sue was wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable of native, non invasive, and drought tolerant plants. She was quick to send pics of plants and developed her price on my choices. Her crew was pleasant and professional, and worked hard at getting old beds cleared and planted the new plants later that week. I am very pleased with Sunway Landscape Services and would recommend them highly!!

I reached out to Sue for my front yard that I needed help getting my grass in better shape. Her and her team came quick to look over my yard, provided me a quote and scheduled the landscape right away. She’s always quick to respond and the team did an amazing job with the landscape and created my front yard something I look forward to seeing when I get home. We asked to continue their service yard maintenance and they always provide the best service. I highly recommend Sue and her team for anyone looking for landscape services.

EDIT 9/4: Same situation as some other customers. They just stopped coming to the house to service the lawn. They don't respond to calls or texts. They didn't show up once in August. I've discontinued my arrangement with them and have hired another company.

After speaking with Sue regarding an issue that occurred, I'm now able to revise this review to 5 stars in good conscience. To be clear, Sue has always done exceptional work at my house, and the crew always did exceptional work when Sue was present. Now that I know Sue will be overseeing all lawn projects at my house, I can proceed with confidence.

Genuinely disappointing experience all the way around. They disappeared after taking over lawn service on a rental property. Look elsewhere if you want someone dependable.
