Fantastic landscape company! The owner and employees are friendly and easy to work with paying attention to all details. I highly recommend Lawns by St. John for large landscape transformations, weekly lawn maintenance and or planting beds and mulching. Your yard will look fabulous when they are done!

They did a great job adding a rock extension off my drive way . They were timely and professional. They also are very good at making sure to give you some options as to cost, materials, and labor. Ryan has a great eye for choosing the right design and look for your project. Will be using them in the future for upcoming landscaping needs .

Lawns by St. John, in my experience, have been fantastic! Ryan, the owner, is so responsive and professional. His crews are efficient and thorough, often doing the extra work, trimming, and debris removal, without asking! Prices are very competitive, but the SERVICE and follow-up is what sets these guys apart!! Broken sprinkler heads and outdoor lighting gets bumped and these guys immediately take ownership and fix problems. I highly recommend these guys for ALL of your landscaping and outdoor lighting needs!

Bill MCGOVERN exudes confidence and competence! Bill and his large crew are extremely experienced. They have done a wonderful job maintaining my yard and installing various landscape and plant material. Most important to my wife and I is how reliable and dependable Bill is. He shows up and gets the job done ! Bill has been great to work with . We discuss all of the landscape issues and severe conditions that sometimes exist next to the river in full sun and intense wind . We all quickly agreed on a plan and Bill and his team got all of the plant material and professionally installed it and mulched it on schedule.. Bill has my highest possible recommendation. We are fortunate to have found him and his team.

I wish my experience with this company went better, but I do know they do good work. Very fairly priced, But my first cut was great, and the next week it was sadly disappointing. I then was skipped for service on my third week with no bad weather that week which was weird. Then finally the fourth week they practically cut no height off my turf. At the start of May they called the day of service and dropped without a reason or warning. Leaving my yard super high this week and scrambling for new company to use. I wish I would’ve had more notice and at least just a cut for the first week of may since I got skipped without reasoning in April . Will sadly be looking for another company this week while finding a way to manage my property. Very disappointed. :(

They really worked hard and cleaned up everything after they were done we’ve had so many compliments on our yard. Bill and Colin McGovern have been mowing my yard for almost a decade now. They have been the most professional and consistent landscapers we’ve had. We are so fortunate to have come across this firm. Bill and his company have re-landscaped many homes in our community and were so impressed that we had his team do ours. They are knowledgeable, no nonsense, friendly, and the results were fantastic. I am President to our HOA and because of the work done throughout the neighborhood, we switched to McGovern's to maintain the common area. We did a complete redo of this area and Bill took the time to meet with a committee to share and accept ideas, and the final result was fantastic, staying within our budget. He was on scene during the entire process. This is a fantastic firm and the people are top notch.

We are so pleased with the recent yard refresh that Rob and his awesome crew provided. The employees at Turf Doctor are always so kind and courteous. To a crew member, all are hard working and very helpful and willing to do a little extra, which is so appreciated by this senior! Highly recommend them for landscaping and general lawn maintenance. Just good folks! Office staff is exceptional as well. Try them, you will NOT be disappointed.

I hired Turf Doctor to help with bald spots in my lawn and areas of supposed "poor drainage." Owner Robert Vogt inspected my property and said my yard needed sand in one area of the property and "compost" on the barren spots. I requested they come to spread the applications (and I use that term lightly) when I was at home. They disregarded my request claiming they never saw the message. A man was sent to the house. He loaded up wheel carts with dirt and used a shovel to hurl black stuff and sand around my property. The "compost" was crap. It was/is filled with rocks, plastic, large pieces of wood and other unidentifiable trash. The sand that was ordered for one side of the property ended up being thrown through out the entire front of my yard and the sides. All of my sprinkler heads were buried. Turf Doctor sent a technician to the house to check the sprinklers. The technician tried to convince me that sprinkers were designed to be buried in dirt. I am extremely disappointed and angry at the shoddy workmanship and cheap toppings (free compost from the city landfill) used by "Turf Doctor." Homeowners beware!

We use Robert and the team at two properties. From cutting our lawn to leaf pick up to sprinkler maintenance, they are the best. Ms. Barbara is a joy to work with, and billing is always accurate.
