Home Services reviews in Jacksonville, Florida

We have been using Green Earth Solutions for 4 years and proudly have them servicing now both of our properties. They are PHENOMENAL. Todd Wolf and his team are nothing short of professional and prompt in their responses. They take great pride in the work they do and we have been receiving compliments on our yards for years. They have treated our lawn(s) for various issues and these issues have resolved in a timely manner. The technicians leave detailed reports every time they treat our properties and list what services they provided and also list instructions for how we continue to manage our yard to keep it looking great. As Todd told me in the beginning, if you want to reach your goals for your lawn, you have to follow their recommendations. That is key and we have done that for years, which is why our lawns look great. I highly recommend Todd and his team. He has always made himself readily available and when we’ve had any issues (which has been rare), we receive call backs promptly with a technician promptly sent out.

I just want to say thanks to Green Earth. We moved in about 7 months ago and started using them. They rock! Love their customer service and value for the money. Very impressed!

AVOID! Switched to them after some neighbors had some success with. I've never had so many problems with my yard before, even BugOut did a better job. We have a small front yard too! With GES I had to constantly call or email, never once did I with my previous company. My guess is they aren't putting enough down and are definitely not monitoring enough. Owner just went off on me over the phone blaming the weather. Ah, don't be in the lawn business in Florida if you can't handle the weather sir. Photos are from July 2019 and then today. Same one tiny area, lol. If you want your yard to consistently look like this, Green Earth Solutions is the way to go. There are other areas still recovering form chinch bugs on other side of the driveway just didn't have a photo.

I prepaid for a year's service with Green Earth Solutions and am attaching pics of what my front yard looks like after the year; it's in much worse condition than when I began the service. They spot treat weeds that they see while missing the majority of the weeds. I would walk the yard with the technician and point out areas that needed treating; I shouldn't have to do that. Their solution to any dead areas (that result from their lack of adequate treatment) is for me to resod. I'm paying for the service and shouldn't be having the dead areas. Other customers seem satisfied but I certainly wasn't. I think it's interesting that they made zero effort to get me to continue service after my contract period expired; they knew what poor condition my yard was in.

Not just worthless service (have to replace sod), but one of the worst human interactions I've had in years!
Worked with them on two properties for almost ten years. This year our yard was damaged by chinch bugs, so I called to see what they would do about it, not expecting much, maybe a discount on the years' service I had prepaid expressly to prevent things like this from happening.
An older man called up angry and literally yelled at me. "Do you know what heat scorching is? Then TELL me? How do YOU know? Do YOU have a certification in turf grass?" He wouldn't let me ask my questions. Well, siree, I don't have a cert in "turf grass", but I have a degree in human psychology and the school of hard knocks and know when someone is trying to evade something.
I sent an email saying we'd like to stop services. Got another call. The man was more polite but tried to tell me that the damage in September was from heat scorching FOUR MONTHS ago, when we had to do a sprinkler repair and the grass did spring back lush and healthy back then.
Further research and the nature of damage confirm they were full of it and trying to bully. -
Great service and great people. Green Earth Solutions keeps my grass looking great year-round. Call them if you want to have a great looking lawn. Highly recommended.

Been with Green Earth a few years now and I have to say they have been the best company compared to my spray services I’ve had. And their prices are fair and I didn’t get an increase each year like I did at my previous providers. I don’t understand some of these negative reviews but seems people need to touch grass more lol

Do not use this company. I bought a home in Cimarrone Golf and Country Club in March and the lawn was pristine. I hired them to care for the yard and by August, it was infested with cinch bugs, not to mention a large increase in weeds. When I cancelled my service, they quickly (within minutes) charged a cancellation fee, which I had asked them not to do, based on the poor performance. I plan to contest the cancellation fee.

This company is a scam and if I could give zero stars for management and professionalism, I would. Prepare for a big read:
The Service Failure:
I hired Green Earth Solutions for lawn and pest control. I was billed for a full service, but my backyard was left completely untreated. Immediately after the "service," I had mature weeds, active cockroach activity, and a flea infestation that was injuring my pets.
The "Solution":
I spoke with the Field Manager, Justin. He was professional, listened to my concerns, and offered a remediation plan to fix the issue. I was fully prepared to accept his offer and continue as a customer.
The Owner’s Response (Why I Canceled):
Before the remediation could happen, I received a shocking email from the owner, Todd Wolfe. Instead of apologizing for the missed service, he chose to mock me.
He denied reality: When I reported the flea infestation, Todd wrote that fleas and roaches "don't match entomological scientific standards" for this time of year. He essentially told me my eyes were lying and used a winky face (;) to dismiss a health hazard to my pets.
He blamed technology: Because I used AI tools to organize my complaint, he ranted about "AI misinformation" rather than addressing the physical photos of weeds I sent him.
He insulted me: He told me my frustration over paying for a service I didn't receive was "unwarranted and overblown." He cited his "30 years of studying turfgrass" as a reason to ignore a paying customer's valid concerns.
The Office Staff:
When I canceled due to Todd’s disrespect, the office admin (Dee Dee) followed up with a sarcastic email mocking my own 20-year career in Customer Service/HR, feigning "confusion" about why I was leaving, and refusing to acknowledge that the owner's behavior was the problem.
The Verdict:
Justin (the technician) is a good employee working for a terrible leadership team. Do not hire this company. If they miss a spot or damage your lawn, the owner will not fix it—he will send you a condescending email telling you that you are "misinformed" and that "science" says you're wrong.

Very satisfied - would recommend them to everyone who needs their service.
-
Spoke to their customer service scheduled a day and time to get an estimate from Cory and he was a no show no call. I went with a local reliable company and recommended you avoid this one.
-
Corey does not return phone calls nor does he bother to show up to even schedule the work. Don't waste your time calling Braddock's. Get everything in black and white. Not e-mails!
-
Emailed over the website and attached a pic of the tree I needed to have removed. After 2 days & no reply, I called Cory and he said he could get by that afternoon or the next day for a quote. Told me he would text me or leave a vm with the price. In the days after with no quote, I texted him a couple of times as a reminder with no answer. Waste of my time.
-
Great tree cutting service, customer service rep at the office was very professional and kind, crew did a great job and were on time and efficient. Team did a fairly tall but very full pine for me and did a great job cleaning up.
-
No complaints from me! Guys showed up with the right equipment and made quick work of my tree trimming. All for a fair price. Good luck!

First had a representative of the company come to my property on 06/25/18 to get a quote to have a tree taken down. At that time, they gave me a verbal quote and reported they could probably get to it sometime the following week. I requested a written quote, along with proof of liability insurance. They said I would get that when they put it on the schedule.
I hadn't heard anything by 07/03/18, so I sent a text asking about the previously requested information, as well as some idea of when I would be put on the schedule. They sounded a bit miffed and said that I needed to be patient. The next day I asked if they could give me some idea of when they could get to it. They said two weeks.
On 07/18/18 I still hadn't heard anything, so I asked for an update on the schedule. They said they could probably get to it on 07/25/18. I asked if anyone needed to be home, and didn't receive a response. I waited a couple of days and asked the same question again, but still no response.
So... we're almost at a month later, from the time they originally looked at the tree, and gave me a verbal quote. Still no written quote, proof of liability insurance, and I am still not on the schedule.
Not waiting any longer. Would not recommend attempting to use their service unless you want to be treated the same way.
Edit: Then... immediately heard back after posting the negative review on Google. The delay in scheduling wasn't as much of an issue as the poor communication.
