Tracy did a very good job trimming up my oaks and maple. He did the job I was asking for, which was providing clearance for pedestrian sidewalk traffic and car traffic. It was important to me that it was also aesthetically pleasing. I was happy with the work. The scheduling and follow-up was professional and organized. The price was very reasonable. I would use the company again and have already recommended them to some neighbors.

S&S did a great job. Mr Tracy and all of the people we dealt with were very professional and kept us informed during the entire job. They ensured there was no damage to our yard and even checked with our neighbors to ensure no debris got in their yards. First time we have used a tree service and we chose wisely. We were very pleased with S&S professionalism in all aspects of the job. From the great communication, very reasonable pricing, all the way to the removal process it all went as planned. They were very thorough and quick and definitely happy with the end result. Will definitely recommend and use again if needed in the future.

Came and quoted the work, then after getting the job, came and said they couldn’t cut the branches because they were too high. Only trimmed the lower branches. To add insult to injury, their stump grinder ruined my lawn, and told me “we are not responsible for someone else's work”. Hire at your own risk.

I had S&S give me a quote with a few other tree services. They had a competitive rate and professional staff come out to give me a quote. Once I hired them it was raining for several days so they called me to let me know the job would be done another day to avoid any tracks in my yard from soft ground. They kept me posted on the schedule, completed the job and DID NOT cause any property damage (even though there was a very tight fit for equipment to my backyard). Jan is the best in the office and kept in touch throughout. The team that took my 40 foot pear tree from my backyard were great, professional and took care of all the cleanup. No issues and glad i hired them. This is a great company for tree removal and stump grinding.

Over the years, I have hired four different tree services in Jacksonville Florida. Mitchell's is by far the best. They are punctual, professional, and knowledgeable.

They removed a large dead rain tree, ground the stump, and pruned two other trees within four hours. The cost was very reasonable. The cleanup was exceptional. My lawn actually looked better after they left.

There are a lot of tree cutters in Jacksonville. Some are good, and some are really bad. If you want the job done right, call Mitchell's Tree Service. Brian Senior and Brian Junior know what they are doing.

Mitchell's Tree Service did a outstanding tree removal from our yard where two large pine trees had been struck by lightning. Their crew came in removing the trees, clean up and stump grinding leaving our yard better looking then before. I highly recommend Mitchell's Tree Service for any Tree Work. The Mitchell's crew did a great job cleaning up my trees. The guys were very nice, cleaned up everything very well and we're hard working. Highly recommend!

Mitchell's did a great job! Very honest, open, and upfront about what they would do and and how they would do it. They took great care not to damage anything and the clean-up was amazing (like they had never even been there). I would 100% recommend then to anyone considering having tree work (of any kind) done. Call them first. They will shoot your straight and treat you right.

Brian (the son) and his crew of 3 came to take a large Cherry tree down , they took some trees down for us a few years ago and just like the last time, they did an Amazing Job! They work hard, make sure things are done properly, they do their Best to make sure your property, the neighbor's property and your yard has very little damage. Since it was a Very Large tree, they used a Cherry Picker to cut the tree. It took a few hours due to the size of the tree and get it all finished including clean up. Mr. Mitchell came over the following day to pick up some equipment and take down a small tree and his friend brought a stump grinder and finished off the tree. We called 3 tree services out to have a tree removed and all 3 were booked out 2 to 3 weeks. Mitchell’s Tree Service came out 2 days earlier than what was scheduled. They took our tree down exactly on what they said they would do in record time. And the clean up was better than we could do. We recommend Mitchell’s Tree Service to anyone that has tree issues. And to top it off the price was awesome.
