Nasty people. I was just on Bridlewood Road in Mandarin and the driver stopped mid road for no reason. Waited a bit and went out and asked the driver to please move to the right so that I can pass. The driver moved a few feet but stayed in middle of the road blocking traffic blowing out cigarette air. He waited a few more minutes and then moved on. Rude people for absolutely no reason. Stay away.

This is the 2nd time this company "DESTROYED" what used to be a beautiful Pecan Tree, while contracted by the local power company to trim trees next to powerlines. Last time I had a verbal confrontation with the employees about hacking up my tree and they were extremely unprofessional using vulgar language and such. But this time, they not only hacked the tree up, even after asking them nicely not to do so, they broke the windshield on my 2012 Honda Civic Si Coupe, by allowing a big branch to fall directly on the cars hood. These guys are so uneducated, unprofessional, and unethical!!! They started by manually cutting the smaller branches below, before hacking up the top of the tree. If they had taken their time to do it right, they would have cut the top branches first, and the branch that fell on the hood of the car and cracked the windshield, wouldn't have fallen thru the bottom branches so quickly and hit the car and cracked the windshield. They trimmed a Palm Tree across the street on the marsh, by simply cutting off the whole top of the tree and killing it. When I came outside to confront them and take pics, after watching them from my laundry room window, they quickly packed it up and disappeared before even finishing the rest of the street. I called their complaint dept. and left a message, after waiting all day for them to return my call, I never received a call back. That's OK, it's obvious they are not going to pay for the damaged windshield or have it replaced, so I will go about this a totally different way. A local family relative is in a high management position with FPU, and they will make sure they "NEVER" do contract work for FPU in this town again. The few hundred dollars they save by "NOT" paying for my windshield that they cracked, will "COST" them "HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS" in "LOST" revenue!!!

I called Davey Tree 4 times for service and help with a large tree that appears to be in serious distress. I was familiar with them because of an oak tree purchase made a few years ago. Each time I was told that someone would call me back. It never happened! It appears they don't care, or don't need the business, which I've taken elsewhere!

Yesterday 5/6/2022 at around 5:30 pm I experienced a threatening incident from a driver of a Davey Tree truck at San Juan Ave and Rt17 Roosevelt Blvd.
I had just turned into San Juan Ave from the Gate Gas station waiting for the light to turn. A Davey truck driver came alongside me and proceeded to turn into my lane (middle lane) so I slowed down and let him through. He tried to block my car from advancing and proceeded to open the door and started yelling at me. I was so shocked at the rudeness of this driver. He was just so angry that I felt threatened by his action. Road rage. I tried to call the company to let them know but I was unable to speak to them. I hope they take these matter seriously.

A company my family has worked with for years. Great company with good values, wonderful customer service, quality products and services offered. Fantastic employees. Overall, no complaints personally and have never heard anything negative about them either. Recommended

We switched from another landscaping company to Davey - so granted we were not happy with the old company but Davey is so much worse! Everyone in the community notices, we have only had them for a few months but the downturn in the landscaping and lawn care is drastic. They don’t weed, they cut and edge far to infrequently and when they do they scalp the grass to the point where they will dig the roots up at spots. They let weeds grow all over the common areas. I actually suspect they cut the watering time down so the grass doesn’t grow anymore - and they think they can get away with only cutting it once a month. I run in the morning and at night and I would encounter the sprinklers running all the time previously and now I can’t remember the last time I encountered them being on. Worst thing about them is we can be walking our daughter down the sidewalk in a stroller and they don’t idle their engines or turn off the blower like the old company, they continue to mow or work past you kicking dirt up... but I would expect nothing less from this company because they really don’t seem to care.

Truck 3000302A. These gentlemen have been working on my street for about a week now. I've been here a long time. I've never seen the professionalism and the job that they're doing is so amazing. If you need these guys if you've got a treat ineeds cutting call these guys, they are the men for the job.

I have used Davey on two of my properties now. One We used another local landscaper and switched it to Davey. The day I did I started receiving comments from people on property about how much better it looked. They have handled weekly service, trimming trees, tree removal and building flower beds. They deliver as promised and if there is an issue they work to resolve it quickly.

TEACH YOUR DRIVERS HOW TO DRIVE IN COMPANY VEHICLES!!! On Wednesday Feb. 14, 2024, two male (maybe) drivers in the vehicle with the license plate 14DRGH turned right onto Lane Ave. from Normandy on a RED LIGHT and pulled out right in front of me. Thankfully my automatic emergency brakes engaged and prevented me from hitting them, and thankfully no one was hurt. I was essentially pinned between this vehicle and the cars in the left turn lane. This could have easily been prevented had your drivers BEEN PAYING ATTENTION instead of smoking whatever they were smoking. Mind you, I’m 6 months pregnancy and I had my 2 year old in the car and had they had hit me, I would have sought legal representation. Also, I have it all on my dash cam so reach out to me if you would like the recording. I hope you fire those drivers.

First, I didn't hire them. The electric company or cable or some had them cutting from the wires that were on the road where I brought my property.
These were the hardest working men I have ever watched. The wires to this road were overgrown since my specific property was empty for over 15 years I think they had said when I bought it. The vines and trees had overtaken the wires to nearly the ground. I'm 5 ft tall and could barely walk under them. I tried for the last 3 years to cut from the ground and maybe it would release some of the pressure. It did nothing
These men never stopped the entire time except to sit in the truck and eat for a few minutes and it looks like a completely different place down here. I thought at first, when they leave with these big trucks, they will leave this road rutted up so bad. It's sugar sand in places, but no, it looked like they took a piece of equipment and smoothed that out where their trucks did anything
Here's the biggest part, I have cancer and twice I had a medical emergency, we had explained this the first few days they were here. I rarely go out and I guess they could see that. When they saw my car move after the first emergency we told them please move, almost panicking, after that, they would see my car moving and automatically pack that big truck up and move before I could get to them. I cannot express the thanks for them being such quick responders
If you need a job done, I think I'd check this company out, no way would I give a review to anyone that didn't deserve it but this is a rarity to see people work anymore and not milk the clock. My son has a plumbing company, I wanted him to steal those workers away is how impressive they are. He said he wouldn't do that, he already had a full staff on payroll. I told him to fire three and hire two of these guys and they could let him have a break, they knew what to do without being micro supervised and the caring that I was sick and moving before I got there , that's priceless
Hire them. That's all I can say. You get your money's worth.

This contractor was doing work for the city and crushed my mailbox. Of course nobody likes that. I reached out and spoke with management by email to notify them. The district manager was diligent about making it right. I’m grateful and appreciate the company for making it right! Please support this company for any tree service you need.☺️

I spent time with Dakota this morning looking at needs for our community. He is very attentive and knowledgeable. We discussed various ways to improve the community look. He is always very polite…..neat and professional looking. We are VERY happy with the service he and Davey provide.
