My husband and I were given the pleasure of meeting Dan from David Gray heating and air. He was very good to us. He was very knowledgeable in selecting the proper AC unit for our home. He was very patient and answered all of our questions and all of our concerns and helped us to make our final decision. He made us feel very special and we felt that he was bending backwards in order to make us feel comfortable with the confidence with going with David Gray. You can also get the feeling that Dan really enjoys his work and loves being around people and helping them In any way that is humanly possible. I respect his professionalism and his down-home attitude. If you have any work to be done in your home or office your best bet is David Gray heating and air.

Absolutely the best experience. New system installed. The technician Malcolm and Braden are the best. Answered all my questions and didn't just tell me the programming on the system but walked me through the process. Very knowledgeable on every aspect. Couldnt of asked for a better experience. It was a great pleasure having this awesome team installing and setting up the system. Malcolm and Braden you set the gold standard. I appreciate both of you and all the hard work you do. You both treated my home and me with so much respect. Great job gentlemen. 👏

I recently had an AC repair done, and I am absolutely thrilled with the service! From start to finish, the experience was seamless. The technician arrived promptly, was incredibly professional, and explained everything clearly before starting the repair. They quickly diagnosed the issue and had it fixed in no time, all while being thorough and attentive to every detail. The AC is running perfectly now, and the house is comfortably cool again. I’m impressed with the quality of work and the level of customer care. Highly recommend this service to anyone in need of AC repair! Aaron Fitz was my technician

I recently had new ductwork installed in my home by David Gray, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. The team, led by Mohammed, was incredibly professional, hardworking, and skilled. I wish I remembered the names of the other two crew members because they were both just as great.
This was a big 3-day job in brutally hot weather, and they never once cut corners. The work was completed with excellence, and everyone was super pleasant to work with.
This isn’t my first experience with David Gray — they replumbed my house a few years back, and that job was done with the same high quality and professionalism.
I highly recommend this company for any major home projects. -
Hamid did an excellent job of fixing our AC, although several parts needed replaced. He was very efficient, personable, and great with communication. He helped speed up the process so the tenants didn’t go too long without AC. Plus he helped navigate getting me in touch with the person who deals with warranties. I truly appreciate his hard work & him going out of his way to help! So glad your company has excellent service with employees like Hamid, as I always trust David Gray. Thank you!

Very impressive how he really cared to service my system and gave me some tips as well. Thanks David Gray for hiring such an amazing employee - job well done !!

I had a very positive experience using HVAC technician Quenton Martel from David Gray. He was professional, easy going, provided great education about what he was doing and what his recommendations were, and was a really nice technician to work with. I highly recommend both this company and this technician when needed. Great job, thank you!

My A/C recently ceased to function properly. I found David Grey Heating & Air on the net and gave them a call. The troubleshooting technician that was sent, Hamid, was very polite, knowledgeable, and honest with me that my A/C had seen its best days. After discussing what the best options were it was time to replace.
Nico and Bryan were sent out to install the new A/C system. These two gentlemen were AWESOME. Very professional, courteous and answered all of my questions.
I am very happy and grateful that I chose David Grey Heating & Air. I have called on other companies over the years for A/C work, David Grey is second to none!

These people are not Fessionals. They are Professionals! I was visited today by Adam to do a hot water heater flush. The woman who I first spoke to, I don't know her name, was very polite and informing. She also told me only David Gray vehicles are used so don't be taken by anybody else. This is very calming news in a world where A.I. can help criminals in ways I can think of. She told me Adam would be my tech and he'll be here today.
Adam shows up on time and gentlemanly. He was a terrific blend of informative, kind, and professional. He told me what he was doing, what he hoped will be and what he can do if things go awry. He had all the tools and moved with certainty. I feel safe that he'd take good care of my hot water heater. The man was fast and he assured me my water heater was cared for - based on how smooth things went. I asked him if I could take a picture of him working. I wanted to shine light on him doing a great job. He also answered my questions about if they sell hot water heaters in case I need to get a new one in the future. He laid out what they can do, that they'll take the old one out and bring in the new one. Everything. I'm very pleased with my experience. -
I recently had the pleasure of meeting with the HVAC Technicians from David Gray Heating and Air Conditioning as part of my Comfort Club membership. They performed a thorough diagnostic on my A/C unit, and I was very impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. The technicians explained everything clearly and made sure my system was running efficiently. I appreciate their dedication to quality service and would highly recommend David Gray Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone in need of HVAC services!

What a great experience with David Gray Services! From the technology to sales, from Staff office communications to Texting and even sending a photo of who was coming out to my home for Installation of both inside and outside HVAC Systems. Nico and John arrived on time and worked the entire day with efficiency and professionalism. They are both friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Nico really took the time to answer the ton of questions I had learning the upgraded systems. He is so kind and I thank him for his patience. Both installers respected my property and me and cleaned up when the work was done. I appreciated Charlie in the beginning when he made several calls into the office to confirm options to move forward. I appreciated Melissa, who answered my questions regarding the Club Membership therein and what that entailed moving forward. Thank you to Tom, who was generous to explain the differences regarding Variable systems to my husband. I look forward to lower utility bills with the better models! Good job to everyone on the Team and I will recommend you to everyone I know. Kudos on all departments from Sales - Service - Installation - Administration

I've used David Gray Plumbing twice so far & I've had a great experience both times. There techs are all really kind & down to earth & the people who come out to make quotes are also very kind.

Since getting the air conditioner replaced we have had issues and still have not got the door we where promised after the air conditioner leaked everywhere :/ gave them multiple chances to return calls and were told we were gonna get a door. And fix a few other small details ,now the Thermostat is saying 71 and I have it set to 69 and it’s not even hot outside and she’s just running constantly. I am sad to say that I regret buying from them. They have been nice and act as thou they understand but still we get left on the back burner .

Had a great experience with my HVAC tune up last year, so I decided to give them a go again. Unfortunately the last tech we had last time is no longer employed there, so I had a new tech this time.
Scheduling and tech arrival was uneventful. However, I did find it strange that the tech was having a conversation on his phone for a good majority of the service. Not a huge deal, but it got to the point where it appeared that the phone call was almost interfering and distracting from his responsibilities (I'm not paying you to talk on the phone nor do I want to listen to your conversations while I'm at home).
Things really got strange when another man showed up on site later on. He wasn't wearing a uniform or anything, but he was carrying around a clip board and following the tech around. He never came to introduce himself, let me know who he is, etc. I was quite confused. To this day, I still don't know if he worked for David Gray or what his position was.
The tech concluded the service and walked through his findings with me. At this point, the other gentleman had entered the house with him. He still never told me who he was -- it was just absolutely bizarre. Are you a salesperson, trainee, management? But he did tell me that I have two options: keep my current HVAC system or get it replaced. I was dumbfounded; the system might be a little old, but it will works fine.
Finally, when it came to payment, I reminded the tech that I was using a $22 HVAC tune-up coupon on their website, as I had requested during the scheduling call. The tech (and the other gentleman) had never heard of this coupon, despite me showing it to them on their website in real-time in front of their faces. Once again, it was bizarre. I finally opted to pay whatever was quickest, easiest, and cheapest -- but it wasn't the $22 coupon that the company deceitfully promotes but doesn't honor.
Overall, I tried to have an intellectual conversation with them about my servicing options based on age of the system, my budget, etc. The tech from last year patiently sat down with me and we walked in depth/detail about my system and what could be done to extend the lifespan and improve performance.
Instead, the tech seemed to just storm out once when I opted not to pursue replacing our entire system (which still works fine).
What's really strange is that they followed up with an email detailing the findings of my service, in addition to a handful of quotes for servicing my system with preventative maintenance options -- of which I was very interested in -- but they never explained to me. Why was I only presented with two options, but then you send me quotes for a variety of additional services?
Lessons learned for David Gray: 1.) if it's not related to the on site job, get off your phone, 2.) if you randomly show up to a job, please introduce yourself at some point -- who are you?, 3.) honor your promotional coupons, and 4.) don't claim that replacing my entire HVAC is the only option but then send quotes for multiple other services after you leave the site.
I look forward to trying a new HVAC servicer in the future. -
Well, a rude David Gray employee suggested I had to file a complaint in order to resolve an issue. Then she hung up on me. So here we are. David Gray was contacted to install a mini split in my garage. The mini split is in, taking a whole day to install. While the AC installers were great, the assigned electrician need some more experience. The lines attached temporarily to the side of the house were to be covered in a plastic housing. They are swinging free right now. Permit paperwork which I need for the county inspection has not been given to me. A permit which should have been secured before the installation began. I have tried for four days now to resolve this issue. Rude employee stated that David Gray does not have a management team so I cannot speak with a supervisor. No management, really. No emails or transferred calls answered. Further, I discovered that David Gray marked up prices by over 100% on parts used. I could go on but I have to honor her request to file complaints.

Had to pay over 1600 to go to another company because David Gray doesn't clean coils. Used them for over10 years on 2 units and one technician didn't put back together properly. But they don't admit no wrong doing or compensate. Switched to Buehler.

I strongly recommend that no one ever call DAVID GRAY PLUMGING, ELECTRIC, and HEATING and AIR if their Air Conditioner breaks down.
My air conditioner recently broke down and DAVID GRAY gave me an estimate of $4,864.50 to repair it, and also recommended that I replace my AC unit, which would have been very expensive.
This is the estimate DAVID GRAY gave me to repair my AC.
The actual cost to repair my AC Unit was a fraction of DAVID GRAYs estimate and the repairs did not require a new 5 Ton Evaporator Coil or a new Junction Box.
Miscellaneous Repair Minor Repair - Level 1 $201.60
In Line Fuse Minor Repair - Level 1 $201.60
Splice Low Voltage Wire (Condenser)
add Junction Box $721.80
Contactor 1 Or 2 Pole Contactor $446.40
5 Ton Evaporator Coil (Carrier) $3,293.10
Total $4,864.50
So anyway I contacted a company my friend told me about and it had my unit up and running in approximately 1 hour.
The repairs to my unit required a new 2-Pole 40 Amp Contactor, and this part can be purchased for approximately $75 online, and misc. hardware like a fuse and some wire connectors and some insulation to cover up the wire repairs, and the labor consisted of replacing the Contactor and cutting and splicing 5 or 6 small copper wires together as the wiring insulation was worn away and likely shorted out the Contactor.
My AC is now up and has been running just fine for the past week.
So, the actual parts to repair my unit were likely in the ballpark of less than $100 dollars, and the labor took approximately 1 hour as the technician pretty much knew exactly what the problem was within a couple of minutes after repairing the wires.
I am not faulting the technician as even the best technicians get it wrong sometimes, but I am faulting DAVID GRAY. I informed DAVID GRAY what was done to fix my AC and ask them to return the $49.00 I paid them to look at and assess my AC as the repairs sighted in their estimate appears to be out of line with what was actually required to fix my AC unit.
So to me the least DAVID GRAY could have done is owned up to its out of line estimate and refund me the $49.00 I paid for the technician to come out to my house as DAVID GRAYs estimate was way in excess of what work was actually needed.
I emailed DAVID GRAY twice and asked them about a refund and they did not respond to my emails.
I will never be calling DAVID GRAY again for any type of repairs I might need in the future, and I would recommend no one else does either. -
Honestly one of the worst mistakes we made for our home renovation in 2024. The unit we received has had issues since day 1. It took 2 days to install the unit and multiple visits to figure out why it wasn’t cooling properly during the summer. The process was a headache when we purchased a new unit to eliminate the stress of dealing with our old unit. A manager lied and said he was coming out (he never returned our calls or texts). We followed up with another manager who sent out a senior technician, but he never personally followed up with us after dealing with issues for a month. A senior technician finally came out and found out that the installers had incorrectly installed the wires and the system wasn’t working properly. He also said we needed to have insulation added to an area in our bathroom (inaccurate assessment of what was actually causing the issue we experienced since the installation). We didn’t have any of these issues with our old unit. They were supposed to send someone back to fix a couple of areas in our ceiling that were broken by their technicians going into the attack and no one ever came back. Oh and during the install they threw away our brand new thermostat wall control. We only had it a couple of weeks. When I inquired where it was the technician said they threw it away. He said he would make sure we received a discount for the inconvenience. We never did.
Our bill is still increasing no matter what we do even though this specific unit is supposed to decrease our monthly energy bill. The unit runs “cool” even when it’s turned off. It blows out cold air when it’s on heat. The heat setting hardly ever turns off. We have to manually turn it off. I am not sure if the unit was installed incorrectly or it’s a faulty unit…. Either way it’s been an inconvenience to our comfort levels in our home and our pockets.
