Reviews of local pros in Jacksonville, Florida

I am the facilities manager for a large community. After dealing with sub-par fence companies with sky high prices, I finally found Silverman. Everyone from installers, office staff, and especially Kimball who does my estimates, they are all wonderful to deal with. I deal with hundreds of vendors, and they are ones I can always count on. After four projects with them now, I can highly recommend Silverman!

Silverman Fence installed our first fence in Jacksonville in the Riverside Historic district in 2004. It has withstood multiple hurricanes and is still standing in good condition today.

We have moved ( still within the Historic District), and we are again in need of fencing. Based on our past good experience, we called Silverman. Kimbell came yesterday to provide a quote. He is now in his 29th year working for this company, which says a lot, in our opinion.

He arrived on time, as scheduled. He carefully considered what we need and offered suggestions to save us money-- no upselling here. His reasonable quote arrived by email within a few hours.

The office staff is helpful and pleasant, and responded quickly to questions we had. As soon as we can obtain approval from the Historic Preservation, we look forward to our new Silverman fence, which we expect will last another generation.

This is a local company who treats customers and employees well.

Going forward, Silverman Fence will be our first and only call when we have fencing needs. The company did an excellent job at a fair price with some much-needed fence repairs. They were highly efficient, responsive, and committed to seeing the job done. When the crew that was supposed to do the work was re-routed, the Silverman Operations Manager (Josh) personally handled the repair so it would be completed on the day we agreed. Deana was very helpful from an administrative standpoint. My advice to anyone reading this review: Don’t waste a lot of time calling multiple fencing companies. Silverman has you covered.

We have used Silverman for the third time, and again they have given us a five star job. The installers do a great job, and are wonderful to deal with. Even my neighbor with whom we share the fence called to say how nice they were and how they were very careful of the plants on her side. We highly recommend them!

Excellent work on a commercial chain link fence by Silverman Fence and crew! Great attention to detail and worksmanship, great pricing, and the team was kind and careful around my animals.

Don't bother calling anyone else - Silverman Fence is the company to go with for your commercial or residential needs!

I had our fence & neighbor's fence repaired after a tree limb fell on top of them. Great customer service, and very professional starting from the office staff! Kimball was very pleasant to speak with as well. He came out to measure everything one day and the next day I came home from work everything was completed and cleaned up! Very happy with the job and the price was right! Thank you Silverman Fence!

Silverman Fence did a 5 star job. With more than 200’ of 8’ high fence, they were done in less than 3 days. We encountered a few unexpected obstacles that were dealt with at no cost increase to us. Tony has an eye for perfection. The final gate was tricky and he did a custom work around that is perfect.

Got a fence installed for my kids and pets they did a great job on installation and pricing and in a timely manner definitely recommend.

My partner ordered 5 feet gates which we were able to pick up in less than 24 hours. Great service and courteous employees.

I am very pleased with the fence install by Todd, Fred & Jody. They were prompt in arriving on time and finished in a timely manner. I will be sure to recommend Silverman Fence in the near future.

When other Fence Companies were "no shows", Silverman provided a fair and prompt estimate, showed up at scheduled time and repaired my fence with quality work at a fair price. Good customer service is still alive!

I called them in the morning, and the next day, they were at my house installing my fence. The two installers were absolutely fantastic they didn't stop working and were very professional and friendly. Honestly, I'm still amazed at how fast the fence was installed and the quality of the work they did. Anyone in need of a fence this coming, I would recommend 10 x over

I want to take the time to thank Silverman Fencing for the awesome job they did over the past 2 days. They were professional from the start. I want to thank Dana. Wanda and Tony for a seamless and stress free process from start to finish even though I made some changes along the way. It was my first fence and I searched and researched and they fell right in the middle. I hope this will be my last fence and that this company will be around for any future services I might need. Thanks again and I will highly recommend!!!
Project: Board on Board with cap and facial

Great job by Silverman Fence replacing our rusted and ugly old metal gate with a beautiful aluminum gate with “puppy picket” to keep our dog in. They came out and measured and special ordered a gate to fit our needs. Installed and replaced and removed the old one. We are very pleased with their service and highly recommend them for any fencing needs or repairs. We called other companies to come for estimates and they either didn’t show up or never followed up with the estimate. Silverman Fence had great communication and followed through. See pictures of old gate and beautiful new one!

We called 4 different fencing companies for quotes. Out the 4, ONLY Silverman Fence responded! They set us up with a quote appointment quickly. Very reasonable prices as well as very professional and polite employees. The crew finished my fence quickly and exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend Silverman Fence!

We highly recommend Silverman Fence Company. Their employees are very nice and professional. The work they did was quality work with quality materials. If you want your fencing done right, call Silverman!

I've seen some hard working people with good work ethic but these guys do it right and do an outstanding job. These guys deserve a special thanks for the very strenuous and labor-some job they do. Not to mention how professional the fence job they are doing on Southside blvd against the Deerwood neighborhood. Five stars guys!

Deana with Silverman fence was extremely patient with allowing us to change our install date several times due to work in our backyard. They had very flexible scheduling and could get us on within days, the team that came out was very professional, communication was always easy and they did a phenomenal job with our project. I highly recommend them and would not look anywhere else!!

Excellent service by EliteCanopy Tree Solutions. They responded quickly and completed the job safely and professionally.

I have to say Mr. Steve went above and beyond the call of duty. When I say this man is excellent, he is excellent. It was amazing to see that the work ethic and heart is still alive in our generation. He embodies both. Plus excellence. Thank you!!

We hired Steve and his team for my house, my sister’s house and my parents’ after Hurricane Milton took out a TON of trees. They were wonderful! Very reasonable, and extremely reliable. They were always on time, worked their butts off and did a fabulous job! They are realistic about what they can and can’t do. So they will never over sell what they can offer but they were even able to help pull a tree out of our pool when no one said they could! I highly recommend these guys! Some before and after pics!
