I’m located in California and I stepped in to help my elderly mother in Jacksonville, after she called a different roofing company for a quote, but was tricked into immediately entering into a contract, after which they became unresponsive (they now appear to be out of business).

We picked Galaxy based on their length of time in business, their excellent online reviews and their BBB rating.

Our experience of working with Chris Addison was great. He was professional, honest, knowledgeable and responsive, without pressuring us. I feel he went above and beyond to arrange for zoom meetings and joint calls with us, to enable me to stay involved through the entire project.

We are happy with the new roof and highly recommend Galaxy Builders.

Being a northerner living in the south, I feel like it's difficult to find a good, professional company to help with my new house. After attempting to get two other roofers out - one that never responded and one that set a date, but then no call/no showed - Galaxy Builders was a breath of fresh air! Very professional and courteous, and with my homeowner's insurance on the line, they came out less than 24 hours after my call. Galaxy Builders recently completed a re-roof and removal of our chimney/fireplace at our home, along with some added gutters. Mike was the only contractor I called who came prepared with multiple options, having done his homework beforehand.
The project was organized from start to finish. Ours was a multi-day project where the team was consistenly on-time, cleaned up after themselves well, and Mike kept in touch and visited daily. Not only does the new roof look great, we chose some energy efficiency options which increased the comfort in our home.
We look forward to using Galaxy for our upcoming home remodel project.

Mike & his crew are phenomenal. We had two full bathroom remodels done in a time crunch with a baby on the way & they did amazing work in a quick time frame. We will 100% be using Galaxy Builders for further remodels & repairs. Mike knows what he is doing, has honest pricing, is very personable, & is incredibly responsive. These professionals were on time and completed the job beautifully. They're clean up was absolutely tremendous.

Alas the wind took away some of my vinyl siding on my house, I contacted Galaxy Builders, and they did such great work on my house, they were fast to respond and gave a fair quote. There work was a solid 10/10 👍 . I highly recommend them if you need siding done.

We just had our master bathroom remodeled by Galaxy Builders. The remodel turned out fantastic, even better than we imagined. Do yourself a favor and go no further than Galaxy Builders for your remodel needs. Kudos to Josh, Nick, Mike and the entire team for delivering on the promise. Great job guys.

We just had part of our Jack and Jill bathroom remodeled using Galaxy Builders to make a new closet. Galaxy Builders did an excellent job. The price is right, the work top notch. Chris did a great job from the project management side while Nick stayed on top of all the work ensuring no detail was missed. Do yourself a favor, don’t bother going elsewhere, give Galaxy Builders a call.

Galaxy Builders just completed our laundry room remodel. Chris and Nick did an awesome job for us. This remodel changed everything for our laundry room. The job completed on time, in budget and to the highest standard. We couldn’t be more happy. Great job guys !! Do yourself a favor, just call Galaxy Builders.

Galaxy Builders took down a leaking chimney and reframed, rebuilt it below roof line and installed a gas fireplace. All ceiling and drywall repairs also completed. Galaxy kept us informed of each stage of the project. The repairs came in on time and within budget. Do yourself a favor and use Galaxy Builders for your next project no matter how big it small..

I used Galaxy for roof replacement on my house one year ago. Mike and his company did such a fantastic job and did it fast and efficiently.
Then just recently I used Galaxy Builders once again when I had a pipe that resulted in mold in the walls. Both the Kitchen and bathroom had to be torn out and redone from the ground up. We had to evacuate during this entire procedure. Mike was immediately her to give me an estimate and they began as soon as we could move out.
This is twice we have had to have extensive work done on the house. Mike really came through.

Mike, Nick and his crew were excellent to work with. This was a big, unexpected investment for us and we found the pricing to be fair but most importantly the job was done well. The crew were all professional and arrived at 7 am each morning for 3 days and worked all day long. Mike answered all my emails, texts and questions very quickly which hard to find in this day and age of good customer service and we would be happy to recommend this company to anyone else looking for a new roof. Mike took so much time and care looking into an issue I was having with moisture and humidity in an upstairs bathroom. He investigated thoroughly and answered all of my questions with detail and patience. Galaxy has been excellent start to finish. We had a roof inspected with them pre-purchase and they were super quick and thorough with their report. After closure we used them for repairs. Communication was excellent and I really appreciated Mike inspecting the work the next day to make sure it was done right!

The team at Galaxy provides exceptional service and craftsmanship. They replaced the windows in my house, and most recently replaced my front door.

Can't say enough about Mike, the owner of Galaxy Builders. We experienced a roof leak during a recent period of constant rainfall, which was difficult to pinpoint. Mike, personally, made three trips to the house to locate the problem and make the repair. While he was at it, Mike walked the entire rest of the roof, spotting two more areas of concern, and repaired those as well! This is a guy who has a backlog of re-roof work to complete, and he took the time to help with our small repair need. The whole experience well-exceeded my expectations; and he's a super, nice guy to boot! Make sure you have Galaxy Builders on your short list of who to call.

We highly recommend Galaxy for your window and roofing needs.. Josh and the Galaxy team were instrumental in helping us successfully overcome a very low claim decision on our roof damage post hurricane helene. They responded quickly the day after the storm to secure our roof as we worked through our claim. Galaxy saved us thousands on our roof replacement. Unlike other contractors they are not folks that knock on doors after storms claiming they can get you a new roof, just folks who do quality work at a fair price and deliver on what they say.

We can’t say enough good things about Mike and the Galaxy Builders crew. We discovered a mysterious slope in part of the second floor of our home, and immediately became concerned. We had Mike come out and cut into our dining room ceiling to try to find the source. Fortunately, there were no structural issues. Beyond the appreciation we have for the peace of mind that resulted from his incredibly thorough inspection, we were very impressed by the professionalism, exceptional communication, and high quality workmanship provided by Mike and his team. They did such a great job repairing the inspection holes that our ceiling looks better than before they cut into it, and they left the site spotless! We know for all our future home repairs and remodels, Galaxy Builders will be our first (and only) call!
