Tree reviews in Jacksonville, Florida

Hunter and his crew are amazing. Very happy with their work and cleaned up everything. Will definitely get them again.

They get the job done and they are very efficient. super respectful.

I called Russell Tree Service to order a truckload of firewood delivered and stacked in my sons house on Sat evening. The firewood was delivered on Monday and neatly stacked in my sons log holder. The wood was good hardwood and the price was also good. Hunter the owner and his girlfriend Stacy were not only professional but very nice to do business with.
My son has disabilities and could not help but said Stacy jumped right in and both were very sweet to my son and even tightened the loose bolts on the log holder as he couldn’t
Thank you both so very much 🙏
I will be calling them again and highly recommend Russell Tree Care

They get the job done and fast would highly recommend them to anyone

Great experience! Russell and team removed a good sized live oak from our front yard, then replaced the sod. They had to work through lots of roots but got it done. The crew was professional, positive and efficient, and did a great job cleaning up at the end of each day. Six weeks in, the sod looks beautiful and healthy! Highly recommend!

Hunter is a true professional! He provided us with an accurate quote, was very knowledgeable, did exactly what we discussed, cleaned up the yard prior to departing, and we are extremely happy/satisfied with the excellent work he and his crew did. I highly recommend Russel Tree Care! Thank you guys!😁

Hunter and his crew arrived on time to our appointment to trim the tree in the front of our house. Hunter called it giving our tree a hair cut.

They were professional, efficient and safe. Hunter looked at our tree from several different angles to insure the symmetry was spot on. Excellent job from Hunter and crew. I highly recommend Russell Tree Care.

Hunter and team are amazing! Hunter knows his stuff, passionate for trees and caring for them. This company is responsive, reliable, reasonable, professional and thorough. Had a great first experience with consultation, estimate, and project including great cleanup and haul-away. I will be calling them annually!

I would highly recommend Russell Tree Care. Hunter and his team are great! I had a stump needing grinding, a pine tree that needed trimming and a 30+ foot gum tree in my front yard that I needed removed so I called Hunter for a quote. The tree was near power cable lines Hunter gave me the option of having the lines dropped prior to the work being done or leaving the lines up and using a crane to remove the tree. I chose to go the route of using the crane. Hunter and his team came ready to work, while working it began to rain and they didn't even flinch, they kept working to make sure the job was completed as we had a schedule to keep. They removed the gum tree along with the stump and many roots that went through the yard, ground the other stump and trimmed the pine tree for us. The work they did was exceptional, they kept their word and the scheduled appointment, they all were kind, hard workers and exceeded my expectations. If you need work done by a true professional, call Russell Tree Care!

Reached out to Russel Tree Care for a paver quote. I asked additional questions via text and asked for quite a few updates. I never received a response. I called and spoke with an individual who was going to get back to me on my quote question. I never heard back from them.

We recently hired Russell Tree Care (Hunter Russell) and his crew to do a very technical and difficult removal of BIG (giant timber) bamboo and large tree trimming over the office house. The bamboo was 60 feet tall and HEAVY and very near dangerous power lines. Russel Tree Care handled the job professionally and successfully. Hunter Russell and his entire crew were friendly, courteous, and willing to work hard. They were technically proficient and very detail oriented. When they ran into "snags" they were creative and problem solvers. Their final clean-up was immaculate. They stood behind their reasonable quote and went the "extra mile." Overall we were very pleased with their work and we would not hesitate to use them again on any project!!

This is the first time I have dealt with trees since becoming a homeowner and admittedly knew very little. I dealt with 5 different companies all who had different ideas and pricing. Hunter Russell was nothing but informative and kind during the few weeks process in getting this done. He came out twice for estimate to make sure it's what we wanted and the price was very fair. Everything was better than imagined and they did such a good job cleaning everything up it's like they were never even here. I feel a lot better about the upcoming storm season and have piece of mind about our home not being damaged in the event of a serious storm. You will be the first person I call if I need anything in the future and will recommend to friends and family. A +++

Great company, excellent service. We had Russell come out and trim some live oaks that were overgrown and encroaching upon the house. Hunter and his crew did a great job. He is very knowledgeable about his work and I really liked his approach of saving as much of the tree as possible while making it look like a tree, not just cutting away, which is what I probably would have done if not for his advice. The end result is some really nice looking trees that maintain their shade. These guys are experts. I will definitely contact Russell again in the future.

Had 4 trees taken out and stumps ground. They did an excellent job. The whole process was easy. The price was reasonable. Looking to do more work with them in the future.

The crew did a fantastic job. They were super tidy, efficient and fair priced. Would highly recommend!

Russell Tree Care are true professionals. Hunter and his crew provided AWESOME service, pricing, and workmanship! The experience of Hunter clearly showed in every way from first meeting him to when the job was complete. He and crew took down a large oak tree in our front yard. We are very happy with his work! Solid company with outstanding service!! Thank you, Hunter!!!

I most definitely recommend Russell Tree Care!!! Service was scheduled quick, crew was awesome! Very professional and they left my yard looking better than when they got there! Thanks so much Hunter and crew!

I hired Russell Tree Care to trim some oak trees and a huge magnolia tree. Hunter and his crew did a fantastic job! They were professional, punctual, well priced and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

Excellent price and excellent service. The guys came on time and knocked out 4 tall pines for me and helped with some other smaller trees and branches. 5 stars all the way around.

Russell Tree Service came to our home to trim trees along our back fence and to trim 3 palm trees in the front yard. This is the first time we had our palm trees trimmed professionally and this company did an AMAZING job! Their communication leading up to our appointment was consistent and the work they did looks SO GOOD!! We are very happy with this tree service and highly recommend them to anyone looking to have work completed. Thanks Hunter and crew!!

Love when a service does this to their customers neighbors… know who I won’t be calling for my tree service? Missed my Recycling pickup because they were too lazy and careless to park 10 feet further back.
