They re-landscaped are front and back yard and did an excellent job. Scott and his crew were on-time and very accommodating with changes we made during the process. We love our landscaping and highly recommend them.

We’ve been using Tropiscapes at our home for the last eight years. They do a great job!Recently we hired them to do tree service and they were amazing despite rain and storms. They got the job done in a professional manner. I highly recommend them.

I have used Tropiscapes for my home lawn service for over a year. Best lawn service I have ever hired - by far. They do not cut corners and take care of what is needed. Friendly, Professional, Prompt, and Efficient.

This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I paid Johnathan $25,000 upfront to remodel my bathroom and replace two exterior doors. I supplied all the tile and the bathroom vanity myself, so the payment was just for his labor, the replacement of some framing in the wall, and the sliding shower door, which he said would be installed.

My house is from 1980, so only a few pieces of lumber needed replacement due to water damage, which amounted to $1200 in additional work and fit within the $25,000. The job has dragged on for over six months, though it was supposed to take just one to two. Johnathan rarely answers my texts or tells me when he’ll show up. His work has been inconsistent and disappointing.

The drywall he put up is uneven, and the area around the pocket door looks like it was done by a child. His subcontractors nailed through the wall and into the pocket door when installing the trim, ruining it. He still hasn’t told me when he’ll fix it.

The drywall installed is uneven, and when I pointed this out, his subcontractor said nothing could be done because my house framing wasn’t even. When I consulted another general contractor, he said this would have been an easy fix if the framing had been checked with a level before drywall installation.

The exterior doors he installed were left unlocked at my house for months. They were never put in properly and didn’t lock, leaving my home open to theft until I noticed after coming home from work. Even now, only one door works as it should. The one he fixed has a damaged frame from where he moved a hinge, and instead of replacing the frame, he just used some filler, which looks sloppy. It’s taken a lot of time and effort just to get him to do any work. I strongly suggest you avoid this General contractor.

As of now, I don’t know if he plans to fix any of these problems because he won’t answer his phone. I also paid for a glass door to be installed, but I have no idea if he’ll ever finish it. I recommend everyone stay away from this general contractor. It’s not worth the trouble. I wouldn’t recommend him for any home projects unless you want to be taken advantage of.

We had a wonderful experience with Down East Contracting.They rebuilt a 60's leaking, failing jalousied porch and made it a beautiful room that is clearly our favorite space.
Joe and the crew were professional yet personable. If not on time, they were early, and they cleaned up at the end of each day.
We plan to use Down East for all of our future projects!

Joe is a wonderful contractor! He is such a genuine person and cares so much about his clients satisfaction! His team performed some drywall repair and finishing at our house and completed the job in a timely manner and was on-site every day to check the progress and ensure crews were meeting all our needs. The project was completed in a timely manner and everything was kept extremely clean during the job and straightened at the end of each day. I am actually considering damaging some stuff around our house just to have him come back!

Joe (Down East)installed an ice bath for me. Not only did it come out amazing due to his design and ingenuity with a small space he had to work with. He took the time to explain every part of the ice bath. He was the best contractor I ever worked with. Any jobs I need done from hear out on my home I will be calling Down East(Joe)!

Hired Franco to replace 3 support posts on our outside lanai that had rotted out. They also fixed some cement that had cracked. 100% professional. They came on time, did great work and were fantastic with communication. Very much appreciated.

The company made an appt with me through Home Depot to install a closet. With less than 24 hours to go they called to cancel without any reasonable explanation as to why. They wouldn’t even offer to reschedule. This was totally unprofessional. If they had an issue with Home Depot they should have dealt with it between them but don’t screw with people you made arrangements with.

Update: I'm sorry but you must be referring to someone else. I never spoke to the office manager. Your company made the appointment. I was simply told that you weren't doing it and that Home Depot would be calling back to make the appt. Nothing was explained to me by in any detail. And if you did notify the Home Depot Regional manager, he never called me. But PLEASE, by all means, give me his number. I'm more than happy to call him.
