Charged $450.00 for 15 min of work and a ruined floor by tech, then he proceeds to tell me a flange needs to be replaced without pulling a toilet! As a plumber myself, it sucks to see this as a company practice, only reason I didn't do it myself is because I rent the home and I pay them an overpriced amount, but since you used the word hair on the ticket, they charged me, there is clearly a sludge build up!

12/11/25: Update to your response, the rental company did hire you, correct, but since hair was used on your ticket, it is now on me, again when 3 other plumbers have told me it is sludge with some hair, but mostly sludge from no pop up assembly around the drain, and he did not note that for Homeriver to see, just as a tenant, looks a little like a scam, even though your tech said they do not read anything, And the master toilet was not on the original ticket, but when YOU called to schedule me, I brought it up since you are also the same company who came out to pull it the first time and replace the wax ring, so the rocking of the toilet should be covered under a warranty since it was less than a year, and you said he would look at it, which he did, but he said broken flange without pulling the toilet, and as a plumber, I know there is no way to determine a flange unless the toilet is pulled. My review is simply to warn that techs will dirty your area and not clean up and also do a diagnoses on something they can not see and your price for a 15 minute service is very high, but I am sure you had to cover the trip charge from Tarpon Springs to Riverview, but I am the one stuck paying the bill!

Quick response after making the call Brian showed up diagnose a problem repaired it and was gone. Would recommend this company to anybody. The problem was the repair valve in one of the showers which has now been repaired.

Brian did a great job, very professional and personable. Pricing was reasonable, good clean up. I would definitely use them again and refer to friends and family.

I initially had a positive experience with Brian, who promptly came to my home and cleared a clogged drain line. His workmanship and professionalism were excellent. Unfortunately, approximately twenty days later, the identical issue recurred. I contacted Mike and explained that I had paid for the same service less than three weeks earlier. Mike nevertheless sent Brian back to address the problem, which Brian did competently.
The issue arises with Mike’s conduct thereafter. Despite the short interval and the recurrence of the same problem, Mike demanded an additional $195 for work that had effectively failed within weeks. He expressly stated that he does not guarantee his company’s work for even a single day. He further threatened to place a lien on my home.

This approach reflects a troubling lack of accountability and basic business ethics. Brian appears to be the individual who performs the actual labor and sustains the company’s reputation, while Mike intervenes only to collect payment, regardless of prior service failures. Without Brian’s skill and effort, it is difficult to see how this company would function.

Consumers seeking durable plumbing solutions or any form of service guarantee should look elsewhere. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB

Mike and Brian replaced 3 of our 1980 toilets with new Kohler toilets. They arrived on time and completed the removal installation, and clean up in approximately 3 hours. They are experienced and very professional. I would recommend Mike Phillips Plumbing highly and will continue to use them for my plumbing needs

Sindo came to my home to repair a flapper valve in my bath. Took him only 15 minutes to identify my problem and install a new washer I supplied. He was kind, courteous, and professional. I will insist that Sindo is assigned to any future plumbing needs.

Dear fellow community members I have owned real estate since 19 87 and two different states I've had Plumbing challenges like we all do because as you own a house things tend to break I have never had an encounter like I had with Black Ops we serve our veterans and today once again our veterans took care of us.
