It took me a while to decide if i should post this, but as a local professional myself, I know the only path to improvement is feedback. And if I conducted my business this way, i wouldn't have a business. So my hope is that this improves others' experience in the future.

I was building a home with a local builder in Winter Park who used Signature Landscape at the time. We were told they do a great job which is why we were happy to use them. Throughout the building process each contractor meets with you to give you an overview of their product and what they'll be installing/designing/the process/cost, etc.

Signature Landscape was the only contractor throughout the entire two year building process to never meet with us, respond to us, or call us back. They did manage to miss a meeting with our builder and us at the home site, but afterwards found the time to email a $90,000 quote. They wouldn't call us back to discuss or meet with us at the property. When I did reach someone at the office they said the best they could do was send me a digital rendering, and that would be an extra $5,000. I would have been happy to pay all of this by the way - I wasn't even sure of how much things like this costed at the time. Nor did i care. This was our dream home. We just had questions. And I don't mind paying for quality and service.

Our builder said this had been happening a lot lately and apologized (since they referred them). We found another Landscape Contractor that came out same day, gave us an entire design, answered our questions, and came in at less than half the price. Again, this had nothing to do with the price, but if you want to charge a premium for your services the service must be premium, that includes the point of sale.

When sending customers a quote, especially at this level of cost, not responding or showing up to meetings implies you believe your time is more valuable than theirs. Or worse, you're so disconnected from your business that you never even knew this happened.

By far the most professional company I’ve ever worked with. From the start of the design process with Andy, to the installation under the supervision of Bob and his crew, each step was clearly communicated and implemented on time and as agreed. Renee, in the office always responded quickly to my questions and kept me updated throughout the process. Victor, Stephen, and the entire staff made the project come together seamlessly. No surprises- with the exception of my neighbors stopping by to say how beautiful it looks!

The design process was smooth and the install went flawlessly. You could see their attention to detail and only using the highest quality products.

When driving around Winter Park you can always tell which houses have Signature landscaping as they are so well maintained and have amazing curb appeal. 100% recommend them!

I have looked over the other reviews on SLC and the very positive ones are spot-on. Whether it’s the hands-on service Eric provides or the fact that you can ALWAYS tell a signature “property” from the street (yes they use only the sharpest blades when cutting or trimming; no other company comes close), or the sourcing SLC does from throughout the state for the very best growers and providers, what’s missing from most of these other reviews is what’s taken for granted. I’ve been a customer for close to 20 years. I’ve had both Installations and weekly maintenance. What matters most in a customer service business, is the word, relationship. SLC isn’t a one and done company. In fact, I’m not sure they can take new maintenance customers today unless they do the installation. But that’s because SLC doesn’t just want a transaction. They invest in relationships. You get what you pay for and it’s important that one understands value rather than cost. Trust a 20year customer. Nuff said.

Signature Landscape Contractors is a first class operation in my opinion. First they designed a complete landscape plan for the home I built on 4 city lots in New Smyrna Beach. They did all landscape, hard scape driveways, pool deck, electric and manual gates, all sprinklers and irrigation, outdoor low voltage lighting for my property as well, as across the street at my boat dock and lift. They are a comprehensive team who can produce superior designs and application for all land and hard scape work for home or commercial applications. In addition I contracted for their maintence services as no one could or would have cared for the extensive work I selected as they did. Their Maintence crews handled all maintnce sprinklers, lighting and chemical needs for my property and I do not believe any property in town looked superior to the one I had them maintain for me. I could not recommend any one higher than Andy Swanson and his crews. It is a first class operation from top to bottom. If you desire a superior job performed perfectly and cleaned up afterwards there is simply no better company in this part of Florida. They are both award winning and not resting on a past reputation as they prove their excellence continually!

We have now used signature landscaping to recreate our landscaping at two different homes, several years apart. Their work is amazing. From the design (Andy is a genius) to the install (Steven is absolutely amazing) we couldn't be happier. And its about more than just the landscaping. After building four homes with four different builders, you learn how hard it is to find quality construction trades that do great work, without damaging other things, have a love for what they do and it shows in their work. Every day when the Signature crew arrives at your house they are a well oiled machine and at the end of each day, even though they will be there the next day, the thoroughly clean it as if there weren't even crews there. For you golf fans out there, if you have been to the masters golf tournament, you will understand... when this crew gets done, your property looks like a pristine painting just like the masters. Nothing is out of place. Everything smoothed and graded perfectly. You can't be afraid to spend money. What we have found with landscaping crews, you definitely get what you pay for. But as Andy once said to me, I bet you have already gone through two landscaping installs, and used multiple services to take care of it, and you probably haven't been happy the whole time... and he was right! Pick Signature... you will be in great hands.

I couldn’t be happier with the landscaping work done by Alex Gieps at Signature Landscape Contractors. From start to finish, he was professional, understanding, and truly went above and beyond. He took the time to listen to my vision and executed it perfectly.
When a few plants didn’t survive the rainy season, he promptly replaced them at no extra cost — no hassle, no excuses. He also surprised me with a beautiful potted plant for my back patio, which was such a thoughtful touch.

We have owned many homes in different states throughout our adult lives but never ever have we had a landscaping design team as talented and creative as Signature! We get the most compliments on our yard from everyone! The thing we love the most is how conscientious they are and how meticulous they are at maintaining our yard!. I would recommend this team to anyone!!! One more thing, they are so kind always and that means a lot to us!

Alex did a great job repairing our French Door window pane. He was competent, quick, friendly, and reliable. Would use his services again!
