Upon arrival the guy told me I need a new AC unit. I agreed, he temporarily installed a kickstarter and told me that he was going to get a new AC unit the very next day. After 3 weeks he has not done that. I asked for the deposit back, which I gave to him so he can get the new unit, I also told him Id be happy to pay for the labor that was done and the kickstarter that was installed. He called me up and said that he charges $275.00 for the kickstarter (it costs $50.00) and he was also going to charge me $175.00 for the capacitor that I bought that morning on my own account for $15.00. I objected to this because frankly its ridiculously overpriced. He went on and told me "You dont tell me how much to charge, I run a business not a playground". Here is my message to you sir and to every possible client of yours. If you ran a business it wouldn't take you 3 weeks and a whole dozen of excuses as to why you cant get the job done. You would do the job as promised. You wouldn't grossly overcharge the labor and parts and you wouldn't charge me with the part that I bought myself. Horrible company, just horrible.

Do not use this guy! He’s name is Daniel . He’s a liar and he over charges you for parts he charged me $840 for a capacitor and a jumper and said those parts we’re expensive! And come to find out both parts was $20 and he said that was his company prices. Beware!

I called him late on a Monday night and he showed up a few hours after after I called. He had to come back the next day with a part and installed it that he could of made me wait another day for the part but he didn't and went out of his way to go and get it. Do not believe all those negative reviews my wife was skeptical when she read the review. Turns out those negative reviews are fake.

Trainor was very responsive, he was very informative and made fixing my HVAC unit and thermostat a breeze. I am glad I came across his services especially now during this summer time heat. I would definitely recommend his services to any one in need.

I just happened to check out prices for "Transformer's!" These units start at $100-$200 the most? I've always wanted to know why we're over-charged for a part which is a reasonable COST? If you need to make labor money, that's where I get taken. Realize Mr. Trainor, you pay as you go? Don't you sometimes feel you got ripped-off after you looked it up? Outch, that hurts!
You, Mr. Trainer, will be the most needed A/C Company only if your Invoice Prices were a said: "I like this price; it's yours!" You would be extremely busy, there will always be a Job waiting in the Need of Needs. If this was My Business, I would make all Customer's want me. This would make many A/C Firms lose. Don't be like a "Cash Cow!" Be reasonable within your pricing. I lost more than expected. Let it be known, how much your Company charges an hour of labor. Very Necessary to Know!

Let me start by saying that this guy Daniel is not professional or serious about the job and he is a joke, took two days to decide the material he needed . After we both agreed to a price he end up asking for more money to finish the job, he was very rude on the phone and obviously he had no idea what he was doing. At the end I had to hired another company to finish the job he started.

My experience:
. Left the outside compressor loose
. Left Freon lines open ( Which is illegal)
. Asked for $750.00 to build a simple insulated conduct box.
. NOT PROFESSIONAL

I read reviews online about this company, but still decided to give them a try. My a/c was not getting cool and then all of a sudden stop working, I called this company on a Monday morning and spoke with Daniel who had a technician to my residence quickly. Dan the technician was very professional and efficient, he did everything he could to make sure I had a/c, as well as receiving the best prices on parts. Our Trane A/C broke after we had it cleaned by an HVAC cleaning company. Trainor came out within an hour of us calling and took a look. He ordered the parts and returned the next day to do part of the repairs. The day after he went above and beyond what I would expect any air conditioner repair company to do. The part we needed was out of stock so Trainor bought an after market part and installed it at no cost to us so that my wife and our child would have air conditioning until the part came in.

I have seen the other reviews on here and I do not believe they are true based on the service I received. The Trainor that came to repair our air conditioning unit went above and beyond what anyone would expect. Would highly recommend.

What a great company only regret is that I was not able to meet them in person. We have an Airbnb in Florida and the AC unit stopped working I called trainor Air conditioning after hours. Within 2 hours they had it repaired and the air back on and our family renting were comfortable again. It's really tough being in New Jersey and trying to take care of a house in Florida we took a shot in the dark and it paid off tremendously. I had Trainor AC come out to look at my AC unit as a second opinion. He spent the time and explained in detail the issues I was having with my unit. Rather than provide a costly band aid repair, which is what the first company suggested, he justified a brand new unit at a reasonable and competitive cost. Once I have gave the OK, Trainor AC was expedient in replacing my AC unit. I found Trainor AC to be professional, extremely knowledgable, and honest. As I’m happy to have found Trainor AC, I would highly recommend them for any AC needs.

My air conditioner was leaking - summer in Florida is VERY hot. Daniel came over to check out my unit. We determined that the inside part of the unit needed replacing. He ordered the unit and the delivery was delayed because of all the supply chain issues that we are experiencing now. Daniel was vigilant and attentive. Came over regularly to make sure my house was cool, called often to check. He couldn’t have been more attentive if he was my own son! Finally received the unit and he came and installed it today, Sunday, with 2 very knowledgeable assistants. If you need A/C repair or replacement, I highly recommend Trainor Air Conditioning. We called late on a Monday night and they were able to come out that night and see what we needed to fix our ac. Daniel was very helpful and did have to bring the part the next day but he made sure he was able to get us the part that day even going above and beyond driving pretty far to get it. I was skeptical at first from reading the reviews but after dealing with Daniel I know that they were all wrong. He was great I would definitely recommend him.

I have used Trainor A.C., Inc twice to repair my air conditioning system. Dan, their technician did an excellent job both times. He came out the same day; diagnosed the problem; explained it to me so I could understand what needed to be fixed; and did so in an effective manner. He was very personal and skilled.
