I recently had a plumber from Morata Pluming replace both the toilet flange and wax ring in Miami, and I was shocked to be charged $545 for the job. After researching local rates, I discovered that typical toilet repairs—including both flange and wax ring replacement—usually cost $167–$297 in Miami. Even more complex jobs rarely exceed $350.
• The work performed was a standard replacement—nothing out of the ordinary.
• The invoice included no itemized breakdown to justify such a high bill.
This is more than double the standard rate for this service in my area! What a rip off. I’m very disappointed and would not recommend this company to others looking for fair pricing on basic toilet repairs. When questioning the price the answer was that’s what they charge.
Miami residents: be sure to compare quotes—don’t overpay like I did!

I used Morata Plumbing again in Calusa this Friday. As always they did an outstanding job! Ariel and his teammate did an excellent!! 👍

Great service! Call for a service around 11 am got someone at my door in less than an hour. Had two bathroom that need it check with a cámaras. We were attended by plumber Alfredo Gallart, who came earlier than what was estimated, and was extremely friendly. Did the job right, did it fast, and made sure everything worked afterwards. Incredible work, and super professional and outgoing. Would recommend this company for sure, hope you get him too!

I had an emergency plumbing situation that could have turned into a disaster. Murata Plumbing sent out Alfredo Gallart, and he was absolutely amazing.

Alfredo showed up in the middle of the night at 4:15 am and worked tirelessly to fix my leaking pipes, even coming back later in the day when we discovered further issues caused by an electrical short.

He found three holes in the pipe, replaced the hose and washer, and even went the extra mile to help with my leaking AC pipes.

Alfredo was polite, professional, and kind throughout the entire ordeal. He kept calling me “ma’am,” always had a smile, spoke excellent English, and never once had an attitude.

He genuinely cared — so much so that I sent him off with a meal after a long day of calls.

I really appreciate Murata Plumbing for sending someone so dedicated and trustworthy.
