Extremely overpriced. And they charge you $150 just for a quote so you kind of forced to go with their insane price. In my opinion any company in this niche that are still charging a fee for a quote, it means they are a small fish in the industry and lot of customers refuse to work with them after they hear the quote. It is a cash grab … don’t be discouraged finding reliable plumbers that will only charge a fraction of that price, unless you want to have a good laugh hearing their quote then pay the $150 lol.

Charges $275/hour (round up, of course)

Very simple job of re-attaching a line to faucet.

Technician shows up an hour and half after the appointment window has ended.

Looks at my detached faucet/filter line. Claims they don't have the part- ok, that's fine, we need a part!

Takes faucet on Friday says "be back Monday"- Monday concludes w/ *no one calling me*. I call them "oh we canceled the appointment to spend more time finding part" Well, you probably should let your client know right?

Then, days later, they call me to tell me they can't find the part and suggest (and I kid you not) "we should replace the whole reverse osmosis filtration system" (something that has nothing to do with the faucet's missing part)

Meanwhile, replacing the faucet just to get the 1 part that is is missing would cost... $50 bucks, with same day delivery.

So:

1) bill me through the nose
2) fail to meet or even set any scheduling expectations
3) try to massively upsell me into something unrelated.

Seek elsewhere.

I am so thankful for Miami Shores Plumbing and I definitely recommend them if you need an honest and above and beyond plumber.

I had a leak in my guest shower. We had one misunderstanding about product availability, but when I raised my concerns with them, they responded very quickly and made sure I was 100% satisfied at the end.

I was just serviced by Miami Shores Plumbing and I had an amazing experience. Prior to using them, I called a few other companies and their options and attitude did not work very well for me. I called Miami Shores Plumbing and I needed a Kitchen sink and a New toilet installed + other minor repairs.
They accommodated to my budget with my new toilet and sink and provided me with the best service possible. Starting with the office staff and the plumbers. They answer all your questions and make sure you were satisfied with their work specially the owner Kenny which I very much appreciated.
They were all very helpful and patient. I will definitely be using this company again. Really recommend them.

I just bought a home in Miami shores and was looking for a plumber that we can use long term. Miami shores plumbing is not it. My pest control company told me my toilet was not properly sealed. I paid Miami shores plumbing to come out, and they told me it was sealed perfectly fine and that all the toilet needed was grout around it. So, I paid them to basically come out and tell me the toilet is sealed fine, and to grout it. Then the next day I had them come out because of a sewage odor. They recommended an expensive smoke test to see where the source of the leak is. So I paid them to come out a second day and perform this test, and the ONLY issue the test found was that the toilet I initially called and TOLD them was not properly sealed was not actually sealed like they had told me the day prior. So I paid for their time a second day to do the work I initially called them out for. When the smell returned after a rain the same day, I called the guy that had come out there asking him to come back and actually get me a resolution on the issue, and he promised he would come back out. It’s been a couple weeks and have not heard from them. I’d recommend taking your business elsewhere for better customer service.

To update, after this review, I ended up hiring another plumber who successfully addressed the smell issue without running any expensive “smoke test” for less than it cost Miami Shores Plumbing to come out and do nothing. So this review is going from two stars to one star.

I don't recommend this company but if you still have to call them make sure to document and record their time of arrival and leave. They have tried to charge me for more time they spent at the property in two different visits, and they are very expensive especially on weekends. They charged almost $400/hr for a ptrap repair (30 mins) which is insane. When I asked an itemized invoice they did not send it for a week and called me telling me why I had a hard time paying. I DO NOT PAY SOME RANDOM AMOUNT BASED ON NO BACK UP. I ended up paying and promised myself never again. I write no reviews but this time it was really necessary. Beware customers.

I called the plumber’s supervisor — he’s very professional and not trying to scam anyone like some others. I really recommend him.

I've been using this company for years. They're not the cheapest but they stand by their work. From minor annoying toilet problems to a massive nasty plumbing issue (oak tree roots tore up my driveway; the plumbing clean outs needed to be replaced) they've always been professional. Good plumbers aren't cheap. You get what you pay for, or as my Spanish speaking friends say, "Lo barato sale caro."

My neighbor recommended Miami Shores Plumbing, and I'm so glad they did. We needed a new toilet installed and a faucet repair. Their plumber was prompt, clean, and didn't try to upsell me. This is the only reliable plumber I will use in Miami from now on. Highly trustworthy local business.

Toilet refilling noise became louder over time. Internal components were adjusted and secured. Noise reduced significantly after the service. Operation returned to normal.

A leaking sink trap was repaired by their plumber who replaced gaskets tightened connections and tested water flow to ensure the sink stayed dry

The bathroom sink stopper stopped sealing properly. Their plumber replaced the mechanism and tested operation. Water now holds in the basin without leaking. The movement feels smooth. The repair was thorough.

Great experience dealing with Victor. He is very knowledgeable, patient and professional. He helped me find 2 exact replacements for older model Moen faceplates, stems and handles that I needed for our showers. Highly recommend them!
