I had a 28 ft tall pine hit by lightning that went to the root. I was very frightened that it was going to fall on my house or my neighbor's house.
John came out and gave me the estimate which was more than fair. Two days later John came with his crew. I only had to wait a day for them to take the tree down . I also had them take down a smaller tree that was dieing.
Stephanie, John's wife handles all the paperwork. I was given proof of insurance and I signed a contract with a definite amount that would be due so that I knew exactly what I had to pay.
John's crew works so well together. You could tell that they really care about what they do and wanted to do a good job for me.
I asked John about taking care of my lawn, I have a fairly large lawn. He quoted me a price that was quite fair. Two of his men came out the following Friday. They did a better job than the other lawn people that I've been having over the last several years. It makes a difference when people care about what they're doing.
From taking down my trees and grinding the stumps cleaning up everything and then to add my yard, I could not have asked for a better company to come to take care of my needs.
I know this is a long review but it could not be said in just one or two words, the work that they did, the care that they give the job, I feel it was above and beyond.
I encourage anyone that needs to have trees removed or their lawn taken care of, to use their services.
I don't normally give out recommendations, but I truly feel that anyone can call on them and they will take good care of you .

Took out 2 trees 1 that was very close to my house. Racked up the debris and only left a lil mulch where the stumps were. Highly recommend and will use this company again.

They did an exceptional job at our lake front property, even cleaned out some of the overgrown vegetation in the water. This is the second time they have done tree work at our lake. This was one of the best companies I’ve had the good fortune to be introduced to. They were fast, efficient, professional, and the team of folks who did the work to remove my trees were amazing! I just cannot say enough to express my gratitude and explain just how pleased I was with the quality of their work in addition to the value. I am definitely going to call upon them for future needs. I am extremely grateful to John and his team; they did a great job, on time, without any problems. John gave me a written (full) description of their licensure with the State of Florida, their Insurance Company and policy number, their Workman’s Compensation policy number, and their family promise to do an excellent job. They did.
They wrote in details the work to be performed and the price we agreed on. John did more than they promised - when I asked if they would be willing to add to the job, he agreed without any problem.

I was extremely satisfied with the service i received. From the initial meet and quote, to the responsivness of the office when i had questions, to the estimate provided, and finally to the work performed. They came out, and did exactly as advised, and described. They were patient with my questions during the tree removal, and down to earth. Thank goodness for their demeanor, professionalism and friendly behavior. They were respectful of my property, and my family. Out of 8 quotes, some the same or even a little better priced, i chose Family because my gut told me to. And i would do it again in a heart beat. I recommend this provider.

Update: have been trying for weeks to get in touch to do job number three, but haven't heard back from them, I hope they haven't closed because they did such great work, but it looks like that might be the case.

Just completed the second job with Family Tree and once again the job was completed quickly! They are always courteous and very professional, they complete the job and clean up well behind themselves, the price was fair, couldn’t ask for better service. Highly recommend them.

This company is top notch. They cut down two giant trees from our yard. They made sure the roots and stumps were also gone. They left our yard clean and well taken care of. They are very professional. They communicate well and are affordable too. Super friendly staff too. Great company! We highly recommend this company.

Very Professional, responsive and great service. I needed 3 trees removed and (3) 40 foot tall palm trees trimmed. The owners responded to my bid request within a few hours, arrived on time the next morning to provide a bid, and scheduled the service the next morning. The crew that arrived to my house was supervised by the owner. They were all very friendly. The work done was high quality and we are completely satisfied. I highly recommend this company.

I have been putting off calling a tree company for help because I felt overwhelmed with the amount of work needed and wasn’t sure who to call or what a fair price would be. My neighbor has the best yard and I mentioned to her I needed a tree company. She recommended Family Tree so I decided to give them a call. NO REGRETS. They are amazing. I feel confident in recommending them. Great communication in planning and walk through first, then again with the whole team who came on work day, and follow up with closing out the job.

I'm writing this on behalf of my dad because he doesn't like technology. He can't recommend this company enough! They went above and beyond what was discussed in the estimate but had no hidden fees attached to it. They communicated well.They were professional through the whole process. 5 stars all around foe them. They came out before Hurricane Helene rolled through and took down a few questionable limbs. It took a little while for them to come back to finish the job. But that was because they went to central Florida to help those affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. That makes them even better in our book!

If you want to pay full price for incomplete work and empty promises to come back and complete the work, only to be ignored, this is the company for you. If you want professional, quality work, and a company that keeps its word, call ANY BODY else! I would NOT recommend this company to my worst enemy. Only reason I gave them 1 star was because there was no option to give them zero.

Had them come out to remove a dead pine tree and grind the stump and remove low hanging branches from 2 oak trees and removed dead branches. John and Stephanie were awesome in getting this done for us in a short time frame. Communication was over the top and much appreciated. When they left all branches and leaves were raked and removed. They have a lot of respect for our home and property and even marked sprinkler heads. I feel we also made new friends and had conversations with them. I would give them 15 stars if I could.

Professional from start to finish. Communication with John and Stephanie was very easy, and they were very responsive. We had 2 large trees removed, and 2 others trimmed. The crew did an amazing job, even ground a stump left by a previous company and didn't charge me extra. Attention to detail! They even saved my grandmother's aloe plant that had grown under the tree, and carefully moved my grandfather's bench I had under the tree. Removed fence panels, returned them to original location, and you can't even tell they were removed. Cleaned up everything...and I mean everything! Got on the roof and blew all the leaves and debris that may have fallen on the roof. Highly recommend this family and veteran owned business. Thank you for taking such care with our property.
