Bates Electric just provided us with exceptional service. We needed an outlet put in for an microwave and some other odd and end things checked for us. Alex Henry was very patient and explained everything to my mother and myself throughly. This is our 2nd time using Bates. Our first time, they did the electrical work for a pool heater. We have been very pleased with their work and showing up early in the day and on time!

After a long break, I returned to our construction office, but unfortunately, the air conditioning system wasn't working. I called Bates Electric for assistance, and they arrived within a few minutes to fix the issue. Thanks to them for the quick response!

What a rip off- i called in asking if my normal gfi plugs in garage were 120 amps for my golf cart. The person that I spoke to at bates agreed that we need to get 120amps. I got charged $250 to tell me that these gfi plugs are good. What a ripoff company- i could have understood 1/2 that, but they screwed me start to finish. Electrician did nothing. Bates is unethical organization

I had an issue with the water heater not heating up. We had the water heater tank replaced with a new one and once again still not heating up! We had bates come out, and Ryan, the electrician, found out it was the wiring in the cable itself that was not working. He replaced it with a new one. Thank God for his expertise, and I got my water heater tank working again! Now I can take a shower after 2 weeks without hot water. Instead of heating up every day and with a bucket to take shower. Thank you, Ryan, from bates Electric! Great job!

Bates Electric is a wonderful company. I called on a Thursday and James from Bates came out at 7a on Saturday!! 7a chimed and there’s James from Bates!! Has never happened since I moved here. James was such a nice person and a good electrician. Bates is also so reasonably priced. Just an all around great company.

I had the pleasure of using Bates Electric again for a new house. The electrician Alex was wonderful. We had many projects to complete and he was knowledgeable, speedy, kind and helpful. I called Bates electric to install two ceiling fans. They were able to accommodate a request to install the fans quickly and sent I have a I have an apple their technician, Ryan Hamby.

Ryan did a great job of taking down the old fans and installing the new ones. He also helped replace a fluorescent light in the laundry room.
He knew what he was doing and was pleasant and fast with his work.

I highly recommend him and Bates electric.

It was a horrible experience! They demanded payment when the work was not even completed and got very nasty when I told them they had to finish the job to get paid. I was called and screamed at on my job at 7:30 at night by a supervisor again demanding payment and almost lost my job. My client could hear them screaming at me from across the room. This happened every single day for 2 weeks. I had to hire another company to finish the work because the stress from them demanding payment and screaming at me every day was making me ill. I have warned everyone I know about not hiring them so they never have to go through what we are still going through with them. They are very crooked and unprofessional people and I pray for the day I will finally be free of them all together. I have now been threatened by them about slander because I have told the truth. I have every contact with them on texts, phone and camera. You definitely need to be careful dealing with them. I wish I never had any contact with them. I just wanted a good contractor to do a good job. Now it’s a never ending nightmare.

Marcel was on-time, well mannered and nice to work with. My dad was an accomplished electrician and I know he would be proud of our new working relationship with Bates with Marcel. Looking forward to the next assignment at our new home!

Had Bates put a long run of fiber optic cable in my house in North Naples FL this morning. The service tech, Alex, showed up on time and had the right tools and equipment to do the job. I would recommend them and would use them again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We hired at Bates electric to do some electrical work for us. They were so quick to reply back to me. They also were able to do the work in a very quick and timely manner. Ryan was amazing today! We have had an ongoing electrical issue in our main bedroom but we are rarely here for long enough to figure out the issue. I called Bates and Ryan had it solved within 5 minutes. Issue resolved and I only wish we would have called earlier.

Bates has done a few other projects in the past for us and we are always super happy with their work and their response. I can't recommend them enough!

What a great experience! Ryan H. from S.E. Bates Electric promptly arrived at 7 AM at my home. He diagnosed the electrical problem in 5 minutes, a motion light switch that went bad after 2 new LED ceiling lights were installed the day prior. He offered to go to the hardware store and pick up a new motion light switch and he then installed it in minutes. Very professional, polite and exceptionally efficient. I highly recommend Ryan H. at S.E. Bates Electric, the company I will definitely use for future electrical issues!!! I will request Ryan H!!!!

Just had a wonderful experience today. Our outside electrical outlets all went out. We called S.E. Bates for service and they sent Alex Henry within 30 minutes of calling. Bates Electric was customer service focused. They came to my residence promptly, addressed my smoke alarm issues, installed new units and towed-up to make sure all circuits were working properly. I am very satisfied with Bates in Naples, FL and our service electrician Alex was great. Will definitely use Bates in the future.

I was looking to install an interlock kit prior to hurricane season in south Florida for a generator. Found SWFL Electric and decided to get a quote. Bert the electrician came out and went to great lengths to explain the whole process and I didn't feel pressured at all to accept the quote. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. A week later they came out and the job was done in an hour and a half. Highly recommended! I haven't tried to use the interlock yet but I know they have a 3 year warranty if anything goes wrong!

I have been seriously taken advantage of by Bates Electric who pretended to be in Naples, FL. Their "electrician" drove from Miami and hung a chandelier which was broken in the box. I suggested I should send it back to the company, but he insisted on hanging it with two broken parts. He then charged me $700 which is more than the chandelier cost! When I called the Bates Electric number to dispute the charge, the customer service lady was very rude, so I asked to speak to the Owner. I am still waiting for that phone call. Mr. Bates, I cannot use the chandelier because it has two broken arms. Ferguson never sent me the new parts. I am so upset. I have NEVER been treated so poorly by ANY company in Florida. I am on a large condo board and know what proper service is. This is so wrong and I would like the issue to be fixed asap.
