I'm a disabled veteran and I try to do things on my own,but sometimes I just can't do it the best way. I called B&D The set me up with and appointment . Explained everything in advance. The crew showed up on time if not early. They were both professional and courteous. They understood my delima and got to work right away. They fixed the problem I couldn't and kept me well informed as to what was going on. If I have any further needs for electric repairs I will most definitely call them again..thank your whole staff from the call takes to the crew who came out of give them 10 stars if it was allowed .

Edit . While they were here the first time for my relatively small job . I inquired as to how much to have a power hook up for my generator would be. It was very affordable and about 3 weeks later I had them out here installing what needed to be installed. The young man was very professional and courteous. He didn't mind answering questions . Sitting the installation of something came up he informed me as to what needed to be done . If I need any other electrical work done or friends and family need something done I'm going to tell them to call these people first.

We called to get our home generator serviced and told them it wasn't an immediate need. They calendared us for just a few days later. The team arrived on time and were very professional and performed the maintenace quickly and efficiently. We were extremely happy with their service and will continue to use them when needed. Great company and we highly recommend them.

One of my home smoke detectors had gone bad, setting of alarms throughout the whole house when there was no fire. The local fire department guys had disabled the bad alarm but I needed someone else to install the replacement. Joe and Gage came to my house at the appointed time on a VERY HOT (99 degree and very humid) summer day. They arrived looking a little wiIted but they had all the right equipment and knew what to do. In 15 minutes they had it done. I even gave them a request to take down a burnt out in-ceiling light, which they did, explaining to me what kind of light I should buy (LED, not Halogen, and with a funny two pronged base) to replace the burnt out one. They promised to come back after I bought the new light.

I have called them for several years now to change lights in ceilings and smoke detector batteries that are too high for me to reach. (I'm too old to safely climb the very tall ladder that is needed.) I imagine it's old-hat work to them, but they were very gracious and I really did need their help.

I had very good experience with B&D electric. Philip Taylor and the other guy was on time, very courteous and professional. They installed outdoor electric outlets and installed 2 chandeliers for me and they were very patient to me when I was directing them where to hang it. They make sure that I'm happy where it's going to be. It's always nice to work with people that does not rush you. I highly recommend B&D electric.

Recently I employed B&D Electric to install a standby home 24KW Generac generator. I cannot emphasize how very pleased I was with this companies work ethics, from the minute I contacted them until they finished the job. They worked together with precision, each one knowing his job. Bought a home generator from B&D Electric one year ago and just had the first annual checkup and service. Both great guys , polite, efficient and did a great job. Knocked on the door before starting and again after the service. The office staff was great contacting me to setup service date. I would recommend them for your electrical needs.

All of the contact persons within the company from the technician that provided a fair priced estimate with realistic suggestions, to the technicians that provided the service (Jarrett) they were all cordial & punctual. They all answered my questions with appropriate suggestions. Fantastic experience with B&D Electric. From getting a quote to installing the generator interlock, the entire process was easy. Jarrett was on time and did a fantastic job, things were actually cleaner after he left than before he got here.

IF I could give BD 10 / 5 stars I would. They came to my rescue to install a large house Generator after being lets say dismissed by a different company. Jennifer was amazing coordinating schedules and acted also a a contact to coordinate other subcontractors. They were extremely prompt professional and courteous. Not a single issue to complain about. The workers were clean and respectful while competent at their jobs. We had a service box to our house replaced and they did it in a timely manner and answered all my managers questions.
