Been looking for a reasonable, reliable, professional and ethical company to work with for past 9 months. So, happy to have found On Time Electric. Ariol was amazingly professional, hard working, polite and courteous. Explained the job and did a clean job. Would Highly recommend this company.

Third time I hired them, first 2 times the work was done in a timely manner. This time the electrician showed up and needed to go to the store, came back 1 and a half hours later and immediately left to "get something not related to the job". Apparently he had to pick up a personal item by noon and left our job to get it. So after 3 and a half hours the 30 minute job was finally completed. He installed a light fixture above our front door and add a light switch to an existing light. We were charged $300, apparently we paid by the hour for his guy to drive around running personal errands. DO NOT HIRE THEM!

Peter did a great job, very clean and professional. A little pricey but I would still use this company again.

On Thursday it was $225 for a new breaker (15 amp) and a triple switch plate installation. On Friday breaker continued to trip and continued losing power, so they came out again-that was $125.00 to put in a higher amp breaker (20 amp) for which the technician told me unfortunately he didn't have his truck with all his equipment so he had to make some trips to Lowe's. Then today cost me $475.00 to have a double outlet installed--again tech had no truck and had to make a couple of trips to Lowe's, for which I figured electricians should have tools and parts. I did call Rick (owner) to tell him I felt that was a little excessive, but he said that's the cost of the job. Very courteous, but overpriced and won't be using their services again.

I forgot to ask fee this time and was charged $149. for dispatch fee.
off course pool timer decided to start on its own just before they were due, so no service was rendered.

One of my rentals had an electrical problem. A few hours later my tenant called me and raved how quickly On Time Electric resolved the problem and professionally addressed all of their concerns. My tenants have small children, fire as well as safety is a big concern when dealing with electrical problems.

All their concerns were resolved.

Great company to work with. Timely and efficient

I had the job done on 12/15/17. I asked the fellow Rick would he be able to send me and the insurance company a copy of the invoice and pictures and he said, sure. I reminded him again that day over the phone. I told him I would need them soon because my home would run out of time to get new insurance. Today is 12/20/17 and I still do not have them. I see he has a habit of hanging up on people from past reviews. He has hung up on me twice. Lucky for me that this was all written on the work order and invoice, and I paid with a credit card, I will be calling up the bank to dispute the charge for work not completed. Do yourself a favor get someone else.

Had a power outage to half the house. Called On Time Electric and spoke with technician Michael. After he asked a series of questions over the phone, he KINDLY advised me to call my electric company because it sounded like an issue coming from them. Did just that and he was absolutely correct! I really appreciated his honesty and time especially during this pandemic. Will definitely recommend this company.

We will definitely call this company again. While on the phone I provided a list of what we needed done and asked for a guess-estimate based on what I provided. He explained it was a flat fee for each item with the exception of outlets because he could not diagnose the issue. Peter came on Friday following a courtesy call to provide an ETA. He installed light fixtures, fixed outlets, and mounted a television. He was very professional and friendly. He was here for about 4 hours working hard to check items off our list. The price came within $35 of what the owner explained. They did a great job and were priced fairly for quality work.

Great service, very friendly and helpful. I had new outlets and electrical boxes put in to accommodate new lighting I wanted to install where there was none along with a new 220 for my dryer since this home didn't have. Prices were reasonable, I would definitely use them again and not hesitate to refer them out.

Spoke to the owner, Rick. Rude, unprofessional, cheesy, no sense of urgency. Surprised they're still in business. Or maybe NOT! I am selling my house and there was an expired permit that was discovered from his company. Made multiple attempts to contact him, sent an email, listing agent called, etc. No response. Finally spoke to him, gave me an excuse that he was talking to her daughter on the other line and will call me back. Nothing. I had to pay an engineering company for an affidavit for the city to close the expired permit just so I can close on my house in a week. Cost me $610! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!

They attempted to install my EV charger. It was not connected correctly and sending errors. They came back and "fixed" the connection problem. 24 hours later same problem. I tried contacting again 4x and have been ignored. They damaged my EV charger and collected install payment. I would not recommend. The tech was nice, it is a shame.

Pros: the technician came out when he said he would at 10am on Friday, and apparently the job was done correctly.

Cons: Overpriced, we felt completely taken advantage of and ripped off. Company charged $600 for 3 hours of work. Part of the work we were charged for included a 45 minute trip to Home Depot for copper wire the technician did not have. I asked the technician for a receipt for the wire, which was not provided. The wire apparently cost about $150, I had to call Home Depot myself to see what the price was.

Before leaving this review, I contacted the owner to see if I had misunderstood the pricing. The work was not an emergency, and was performed on a Friday during regular business hours at 10am. Owner returned call and said that this job was priced as a FLAT FEE of $600, and not hourly. A reasonable hourly rate for an electrician should be $85/hour, and not $150 - $200 per hour. I would never have hired this company for a flat fee of $600 for 2 hours of work plus a trip to Home Depot.

Overall: We will never use this company again. If you consider using the company,obtain both the hourly rate and bid from them IN WRITING before hiring them. We feel like we were taken advantage of and will be using a different company next time.

I feel I was really overcharged. They charged me for the time the electrician had to leave to purchase the 2 very common items needed for the job a regular electrician would have on a work truck. I was charged for the time the worker called the office to detail the work performed, waited for the invoice to be written up and sent. This totaled about 2 hours and at $150 per hour! I had to specifically ask for an itemized invoice and then saw I was charged at least double of what one would pay at a local hardware store for the hardware needed. I had asked for an approximate estimate up front but was told they would have no idea of cost until they got there. The electrician was very personable and did a good job but I'm feeling very taken advantage of. I would definitely not use On Time Electric again or refer them to anyone.

Overall a great experience. Rick the owner spoke with me personally about my small job and scheduled the work to happen within 24 hours. The 2 service techs that did the work were extremely polite and took care to work carefully and neatly in our home. We also had 1 issue the day after they left (a bad HDMI cable which I had supplied) and Rick, the owner and one of his techs came beck to the house after hours and replaced the cable, pulling it through the wall, at no additional charge.

I will definitely use On Time Electric again.

I don't usually go out of my way to post bad reviews but I need to make a big suggestion. Make sure you find out what the trip charge is going to be before agreeing to service from one time. My fault I guess but the service tech game out for about 5 minutes and determined that I did not have an electrical problem. Tested to make sure I had electric current and done in 5 minutes. No work. No parts. This was not a rush or a priority request. He handed me an invoice for 150. I have paid up to 75 for non rush service charge before but 150 was unacceptable. I called the owner and he dropped it 95.00 which was great but the fact that he attempted to extract 150 for doing no work was insulting. Lesson learned. Find out the trip charge before they come out or you may be charged law attorney rates for a trip to your house.

Highest Rating!! Robert with On Time Electric was at the home less than 2 hours after the call to fix a problem with the dryer outlet and wiring. He was very friendly and explained what he was doing as he worked. Did a beautiful job with the rewire and also made it look very nice. Also cleaned up the space when he was done. Went above and beyond. Highly recommend and will definitely use again

Very professional, friendly company. We needed an electrician on 12.23.23 and dreaded trying to find one right before the holiday. We spoke with Rick and he was able to get his team out that day. John and his helper were fantastic. Diagnosed the problem and repaired it. Thanks for a wonderful job. We would highly recommend this company.

I am so happy, not only did he fix the GFI switch but also the garage light switch now I have light in my garage no more flashlight at night in the garage. Thank you 👍 great job Ricky
