I contacted Brian and paid him 50% upfront for permit for a remodel. After 2 weeks I was told the permit was approved by Safety Harbor and moving on to the next phase with Clearwater. I reached out 3 weeks later via text and no response from him. Then I went online and saw that the county requested information regarding the project 2 weeks before and he never responded to them. So I emailed him the information needed and no response. After 3 weeks, I called him and told him that I would complain to the licensing board and he said he would refund my money. It's been 2 months since then and every text has gone unanswered since. I called him and he told me to sue him so I will be doing that as well as filing with DBPR.

I've known Brian for 22 years.. He has an outstanding character and he goes over and beyond to make sure the customer satisfied. He's a hard worker and dedicated father. A great citizen/GC of the City of Orlando and surrounding areas, Who goes over and beyond to dedicate his time to service build-up/community.

Hunter contractor Review

Hunter contractor LLC added an attached 2-rm suite, plus full bath, to our Ocoee, FL home, per architectural plans. Brian Hunter provided personal oversight from start to finish. I found him honest and easy to work with. His subs are loyal to him, and, with one exception, responded immediately when Brian became aware of an issue that needed correction.
My one regret is that i signed the project proposal without the detailed contract specs included. My mistake. But we are pleased with our beautiful addition.
I give them 4.5 stars.

I had a pipe burst and the ceiling completely fell in two of the rooms in my house because of it. Mr. Hunter was called. After the repairs were done. He came in and restored my rooms better than they were before. I'm so happy with is work and I'll recommend his services to any body. Thank you so much!!

Brian is an amazing GC! My property was destroyed by the hurricane Halene and I had several GC's quote me extremely high prices and it always took them a long time to get back to me. Brian was very reasonable with his cost and anytime we needed anything done to help move along the process (especially permitting) Brian was on it immediately. He also took the time to explain the process to me since this is the first time I have ever had to deal with this situation. This guy is extremely honest and professional! I highly recommend using Hunter Contractors!!!

We had a real serious problem during the reroof due to wood and termite damage..The damage was beyond the scope of the roofing permit and we had to get engineered drawings and a GC.That’s when We found the Brian Hunter contractor.He made the whole process easy and Quick.He made everything look easy and manageable.I am very thankful for His expertise and help during this ordeal.Thanks to His knowledge and expertise we passed all the inspections. Hunter Contractors LLC, was able to stop a water leak near the window area in my home. His company repaired stucco wall damage back to new. The wall repair required a specialized approach to match the existing texture and prevent future water damage. Hunter Contractors executed the job with precision and expertise. The task was performed in a timely manner and the cost was reasonable. Thanks to Hunter Contractors, I no longer have to worry about the water leak.

Great company to work with. Very professional and very prompt when it comes to getting work handled. They do great honest work unlike other contractors I’ve dealt with. This is a real professional. He is knowledgable about his industry, has contacts within the building departments and does not stop until all work is completed. General Contractors are not easy to find and it is scary because there are so many horror stories. I myself have worked with a few of them that made me terrified of calling on yet another. However, If you are fortunate enough to work with this one your faith will be restored as mine is. He was fair on the price, he made himself available through phone and text and explained answers in a way that I could understand. I can not be more thankful.

I was recommended to Hunter Contractor, LLC after another contractor was unable to complete a major $100,000+ upgrade my home with 20 foot ceilings in the grand entry. This upgrade was complex and required modifications in roof truss, new window, plumbing, electrical (recess lighting, 9 fft chandelier, loft area, sliding glass doors, etc.). Hunter Contractor, LLC attention to details and convenient payment plan has made my home my castle.

Brian is a man of his word. Always available and on time to deliver permit service. I was stuck with such a huge issue with the city. After a long search and an affordable price, I have been able to sleep peacefully knowing Brian is there to take care of my house needs. Strongly recommended, and thanks again.

Hunter Contractors saved the day when another contractor failed to perform on a lanai extension project that was timed to complete with a separate pool installation. Brian has high integrity and excellent work ethic; within a day or two of giving my deposit he had material on-site, ready to work and maintained the commitment to get my project back on track just like he promised. The engineering they inherited from the previous contractor had issues, but they diligently worked through and fixed all inspection findings without complaining or requesting change orders from me. I’m very happy with how the exterior turned out. What could have been better was the communication and attention to detail with some of his contractors. In particular the interior drywall and trim around the windows that were converted to doors is sub-par. It is messy, uneven and despite sending a 2nd person to address it does not have a professional finish. I will be hiring someone else now to properly fix. Therefore, overall I’d give Hunter Contractors 3 1/2 stars.

Brian is a great contractor did everything the job called for with no hesitation I told him I wanted to turnkey job and that is exactly what I got. I picked out and directed him every way I wanted and everything I wanted and he got it done called me what every update I did not have to look for him still in contact with me through the whole time, very professional would recommend him.

All I can say is woww, what a great service with professionalism. Someone refer me to him while I had an emergency to get my roof replaced in two weeks or else…! With my HOA and my mortgage company. Once I call Brian, the reinsurance was so generous I was no longer stressed out about this. Mr Brian left everything he had to do and make I had this removed and replaced in one week. He didn’t charge me over pricing because I wanted right away. He sits down with me and come to an agreement where I can afford.
