John and the team at John Madison did a fantastic job replacing a French drain in my yard. Everyone involved was super easy to work with and they really catered to my needs. Use them, great company!

JML installed sod and hardscape in my backyard. The job was on the smaller side but the company treated me and my job like it was the most important one on their list!
From the initial meeting with John to the last walk-thru with a punch-list and questions, everyone at the company was punctual, organised, communicative, hard-working and amiable.This is clearly a well-run business and it shows in the high level of execution and organisation.
Even when some work that had to be redone (my communication error), John and the crew unhesitatingly worked promptly to make me happy with the result.
My irrigation issues were diagnosed and the system was tweaked repeatedly for the best results for my lawn. The admin/office staff communicated with me clearly and co-ordinated everything well.
I am so satisfied with management and the performance of everyone at JML that I have already recommended them twice and will be using them for my year 'round outdoor maintenance.

We love John Madison Landscape. Very knowledgeable and honest. We use them 8 years ago to replace all the sod in my backyard and just recently called them again for my front yard. We wanted to replace the sod there as well but he said honestly it didn't need replacing and just told us what to go out and buy to make it come back. That's a great businessman!

Best decision I made was to hire John Madison Landscaping!

We had a complete rear yard landscaping performed by John in 2017 that included patio stone pavers, stone planters, pergola, lighting, urn fountain, irrigation, plants/trees, fencing, gutters and sealing of the installed stone/pavers. John personally provided complete color designs for our review and approval plus handled all county/city permits. I used his designs for our HOA Architecture Review Committee and HOA Board review and received approval first time through with no issues.

John Madison handled all matters as a one-stop prime contractor so I did not need to deal with separate contractors (e.g., fencing, electrical, gutters, plumbing, sealing). Also, most importantly, John and staff solidly stand behind their work. Whenever I emailed or called with a question or issue, it was answered or responded immediately or within one day.

Our rear yard is now a showplace for our community with neighbors and realtors requesting “who did this fabulous landscaping for you?” Our rear yard is our outdoor paradise to use to entertain family and friends.

Word to wise... Ignore the one and only negative comment about John Madison. This impatient person is clearly a bogus complaint since he never met with nor hired John for a landscaping job. John’s response to his comment was professional and demonstrates the situation clearly enough to know how unreasonable the comment is. Focus only on feedback and comments from those who actually hired John Madison for a landscaping project.

I contacted John Madison Landscape and schedule a visit to quote us on our front yard because my neighbor got her lawn done by them recently and she was very happy with their service. On February 8th John Madison himself came out to my home and we discussed what I was looking for. I sent him my property survey during the visit via email and he told me they would contact me in 2 weeks with a design and some quotes. On March 4th I emailed John asking if they had any information yet. He told me he would have his office call me the next day to schedule a follow up. I'M STILL WAITING and it is now March 11th. Going to tackle this job on my own because I'm skeptic on calling another vendor.

I couldn't be more please with John Madison & team's work! We had a previous contractor that tried to help with our homes very serious drainage issues, but eventually just took our money and ran. John helped to ease our concerns, and worked hard to try different approaches to fix our issue until it was resolved (within the budget & time we were promised). John and his team were easy to get a hold of and schedule appointments with, and were always very professional. We couldn't be more pleased with our new drainage system as well as the new landscaping. I highly recommend using John Madison Landscaping, and I look forward to working with him again in the future for all our landscaping needs.

I can’t say enough good things about John Madison Landscape. John is professional, knowledgeable, and kind. We recently had a project completed for part of our yard and pool enclosure area. The teams were all polite and efficient. Manny, the project lead, works hard to make sure the client is pleased with the results. In fact, we are so pleased with the result we have decided to keep going with the yard improvements and have John draw up plans for a complete overhaul of the front yard as well. If there was a Top Gun program for Landscape Companies, John Madison and his team would be invited. They are truly, the Best of the Best!! John and his team have done 2 major projects at 2 different properties. Both times, they came out better than expected and both times, everything John said would happen on each day during the process actually happened. I also use John Madison Landscape for weekly lawn maintenance and I could not be happier. Many times, his workers take care of problems before I have the time to address with them. To quote Tina Turner..."Simply the Best!!" I highly recommend.

We bought a new home in Winter Garden, FL, at the end of 2018. The landscaping that the builder installed was generally inferior, so we hired John Madison and his staff to upgrade the entire front yard. The work they did is just terrific. And the staff were highly professional, responsive and kept reasonably close to the planned schedule. The plants they obtained, including three fairly large trees, were especially high quality. John told me -- and obviously it's true -- that they reject low-quality plants supplied by nurseries, taking only first quality. Finally, even though they were working on the very front of our house, digging out beds that began at the front wall, they did absolutely no damage to the house itself. We couldn't be happier with John Madison Landscape Inc. Highly recommended. Special kudos to the on-site supervisor, Andy.

John Madison and his team were fantastic to work with from conceptualization to the final product and their follow up visits to check on the plants and irrigation system they installed for us. They worked with us in a complete redesign of our front yard, including providing some great advice on our separate front porch project. We have been thoroughly impressed with both John Madison and his team. They were knowledgeable, personable, and overall very educational. They taught us how to maintain our new landscaping and did weekly check-ins to make sure everything was still doing well. John and his team transformed our small back yard and pool area into an oasis. They solved a drainage issue our builder didn’t and planted gorgeous trees and plants that give us privacy and rival any high end resort. Can’t wait to see phase II in a few months. We trusted Madison Landscaping in a previous home and couldn’t wait to get him here. I was looking for a true brick-and-mortar company that could handle both landscape architecture/design and had expertise in executing hardscape, landscape, and shading.
My back porch had a typical Florida screened cage that only helped during a few months of the year, along with a very dark floor that made the space feel dingy, depressing, and confined. As a result, I never spent time there. The rest of the backyard was equally uninspiring—one corner had four mismatched shrubs that served no real purpose, and the hedge had grown outward, taking up valuable space. My goal was to transform the area into a peaceful “Zen” space and replace the fixed screen cage with a retractable screen that could be lowered during peak bug season.
I discovered John Maddison Landscape Inc. (JML) at the Orlando Home and Garden Show. Based on their showcase alone, I felt confident I had found the right company.
At the on-site appointment, Mr. Maddison was professional, attentive, and genuinely listened to what I was looking for. During the follow-up visit, he presented his vision through drawings he had created. We made a few adjustments together and after selecting the pavers, borders, flagstones, rocks, and other materials, his crew was able to start work about a week later.
The crew was phenomenal—professional, courteous, and highly skilled. Even their cleanup was impeccable. My neighbors were impressed that they power-washed the street to remove any mud or dirt from the work. The screen installers were equally punctual, efficient, knowledgeable, and clean.
The end result exceeded anything the drawings could have conveyed. I am beyond happy with how everything turned out. I never used to sit outside or enjoy my outdoor space—now I do. Even my dog prefers relaxing outside on his dog bed. We have spent countless hours enjoying the fresh air, listening to crickets at night, and simply feeling at peace while admiring nature.

Very professional company

I did not even want to give one star Google made me ! Unprofessional to say the least total disappointment . Take no pride in their work and dishonest is a understatement . would not recommend their service to anyone

Nearly impossible to get in touch with them for any reason. We attempted on multiple occasions to get a quote for additional services with never any reply (e-mail and voicemails) When trying to cancel our service have left voice mails, e-mails and contact us from the website with again zero response. Most of the time they did a good job with the mowing and edging but even then it was iffy on what day they would show up so hard to plan.
