Home Services reviews in Orlando, Florida

Update 10/7/2024: With the craziness of closing on my home, I called to cancel service just a week before the closing date. They typically require 30 days notice to cancel, but Tiana was calm and explained the "why" which I can appreciate. However, she was also willing to go a step further to ask her supervisor if they could give me a prorated amount. I genuinely appreciate a company that is willing to work with you, and overall they did a great job managing the email notifications, billing, and maintaining the lawn.
I've had so many bad experiences with lawn care services. Guardian lawn and landscape has, by far, been the best. They've been very accommodating! When another service I hired didn't show up for two weeks, and I was trying to get my house ready for sale, I found Guardian at the last minute. After asking, they managed to send someone out, same-day I found them, to give me a quote. They also accommodated change requests to the quote (how many trees needed), and then moved up my service date to help me get it ready for listing pictures that were scheduled sooner than expected. They were also very responsive and sounded so kind each time we spoke on the phone. They sent photos to confirm which trees, and then more photos to show the work completed. I appreciate the due diligence and it looks amazing! Thank you Guardian Lawn & Landscape! -
I have been a customer for 3 years. The past few months have been a struggle and I eventually discontinued my service. They left my fence gate open twice and my dog almost got loose. They cut up my Halloween lights. This past, and final, service they completely obliterated my climbing jasmine vines that covered this fence. I loved those vines as they bloom in the winter and smell wonderful. Now we’re left with this and it looks horrible. I’m hoping they will survive the winter and grow back. But needless to say that was the final straw.

Great company, and people. They fix anything we need, keep everything looking neat and clean.
They have a portal which makes things so much easier, just take a picture of your stuff and send it to them and they fix it next time they come out. Also emergency clean up but we haven’t needed that.
They’re super fast, in and out. we have four dogs with 400 toys out back, and they don’t destroy them with the mower or have a problem with them being out there so 10/10 form me. -
The lawn care experts at Guardian Lawn care are wonderful. The yard looks beautiful. At some point would like to see if they can plant some shrubbery and trees for us. Highly recommend.

This company did not communicate with me. Half assed the first visit and had to come out the next day to do what I asked and still did not do it. After two weeks came back and still half assed the job. Horrible experience!!! Will not recommend and will not be using again. For the amount of money they want I expect it to be correct the first time.

they have been servicing my lawn for the past year and since they've taken over my grass died. Before them, my lawn was immaculate: green and lush. I asked them to fix it and they have the audaciy to quote me more than $5000 to fix the damage that was caused by them. THEN they chipped the wall and NO ONE informed me. I've called them numerous time (x4) and each time i was told a manager would call and no one ever does. Don't use them unless you want ruined lawncare then they'll quote you something obscenely high to fix something they've damaged.

My experience was poor. In the contract it specifically notes that they will "pull weeds" and "spray for weeds" in flower beds. Generally that turned into a guy with a weedwhacker blowing my mulch away. I spoke to the company and they did respond, but it was never really resolved. Also, the yard waste was left in the yard most of the time, if not just run over with the mower and blown all over the place. Contract states they will take away two bags and leave the rest on the curb. Yes, I contacted them about it. Responded, yes. No, not resolved. Then, see pictures, they drove their lawn mower around with with some type of poison on it which started to kill the grass. The first time I saw the tracks I reached out and I was told it was from the tread of the mower when it was super rainy. But a couple weeks later it grew worse and the grass died. I reached out again and called them out on their assumption. In response, they canceled their services here and never reached out again. Part of the contract was they were supposed to UPKEEP the lawn as well... not just cut it. This was the absolute opposite and when I asked for the correction, they took the money and ran away. Run of the mill overpriced services. Poor and lazy workmanship. Zero customer service.

The team was great to work with — very friendly and professional! They were efficient and did a fantastic job. Our plant beds look so much better now. Highly recommend their lawn care services!

What a poor experience. They made appointment to come visit for estimates. The schedule visit time was 11 AM, but no one showed up than at 3:10 PM they called with 5 minute notice that they will survey my HOA for price quote while I was busy with office work. Its unfortunate, that you don't really care about your prospective customers. If you are this disorganized before you get the contract, what can I expect if we gave you the contract. All I can say is you lost your chance to make over 300k a year with our community. The only reason I am leaving this comment is not to insult you, but I want others to know what to expect if they request service with you, they will have to wait for you to show-up several hours late.

This day was the last straw with them. You can see the lawn is freshly mowed but that was it and they left. No attention to detail, no care, there are even times I question whether they have come at all. I run an aquarium service company myself and all my customers care about is how the aquarium looks and they will pay whatever. For what this company charges to come every other week I would expect some level of care and attention to detail. Just switched to a new company that costs the same, comes weekly and the attention to detail is MILES above. I am never one to leave reviews as I know they can harm a business but the photos speak for themselves and I wouldn’t want anyone else to have the same experience.

We are so happy we chose Landscape Improvements to transform our entire yard! Tyler initially met with us and saw our vision and suggested ideas as well. He is a true visionary and passionate about his job. We wanted a water feature in the backyard. He made sure to place it where it could be seen optimally from the inside of the house as well as from the screened in patio. He was also very intentional with the lighting placements in the front yard and backyard. During the day we feel like we're at a park and in the evening we feel like we're at a resort! Landscape Improvements is a one stop shop! It's refreshing that they do it all!!! From design, install, irrigation, lighting, pavers, water features, flowerbeds, AND they will continue with monthly maintenance and quarterly flowerbed updates. Tyler, Lee and their entire team are hard workers, courteous, passionate and professional! We highly recommend Landscape Improvements!!!

I used Landscape Improvements Inc. at my home, I was more than satisfied with their work... It was nice not having to tell them what to do, they did everything without having to be asked.. That says a lot, or least to me it did...

Lee and his son are FANTASTIC at what they do. They really know every single detail when it comes to landscaping. Great work crews and everything is done right the first time. Much appreciated! Customer for 5 YEARS 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Very disappointed. Owner, Lee, would not return my calls to discuss damage done to my car where his men were mowing on January 14. His employer, Forness Properties, told me he said to them that he would help with half of the repairs. Guess what? He still hasn't called me back!

A wonderful, family-run business! Lee has such an incredible eye for detail and his son, Tyler, is such a sweet young man and always gives as much time as possible to his work. We love this company!

Crew were always timely and did an okay job - downside was we were paying what felt like a high monthly fee for a small property. Relationship really took a sharp downturn when I reached out to the owners to switch my service from weekly to biweekly. It took numerous emails and calls to get a response, to which the owner said he was happy to switch to biweekly, provided me with the new cost and said it would be effective starting the following month. Following month came and my credit card was charged the previous, higher rate. Another month - could not get ahold of the owner or the office. After more calls and emails the owner finally responded, going back on his word and saying sorry, we've changed our mind.

AMAZING experience from design to implementation for landscaping our new home in College Park!!! This family run business WELL exceeded our expectations !! The communication and project management of design, irrigation, piping and drainage, landscape lighting, artificial turf was all met before the deadline we were given. Our landscaping is what we enjoy the most with our new build and we know it will stay beautiful with their ongoing service in the lawn maintenance business.
