Jonathan is amazing!!!!! He was fast to respond and easy to keep in contact with. After meeting me he quickly came up with a design and was also able to install fairly quickly. My yard looks absolutely amazing now and he was very helpful with any questions or design changes I had. He even helped with some last min additions and was more than happy to accommodate me. Wonderful!! This is who you want to hire! Jonathan just completed a project for us today, and I'm still in awe of how quickly his team was able to get it done. He was very responsive and helpful from day one of planning, and then was able to coordinate great crews for landscape, irrigation, and lighting at the same time. All variables together only took a day and a half from beginning to completion. I had a great experience with Jonathan. My house was built in the 1950s and the landscaping seems to have been just as old. Jonathan worked to get irrigation installed, new sod, and trees/shrubs that fit the front of my house. He was upfront about costs and easy to communicate with, and the other workers did a great job. I no longer have the eyesore on the nice street. Highly recommend anyone looking for help with their house use Terra.

I contacted TCD to replace my 25 yr old sod and landscaping. Jonathan ( the owner) came the next day to walk the property and based on my input, drew up a new landscape design. Within a few weeks after my approval, they were back, removing the old sod & plantings and adjusting my sprinkler zones for the new landscape. Jonathan personally installed the sod and plants along side his crew. Jonathan was involved from beginning to end and I am very happy with the results. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a turnkey landscape design/install project.

I originally reached out to Jonathan because I wanted to do a big project to the front and back of my new home. He communicated with me within literally a few minutes of me submitting an online info request on his website and his incredible communication never dwindled over the course of process even when I was very back and forth about what I wanted to or could do. When the project went from big to literally just installing a little privacy landscaping in the back because that was all we could afford after our financial situation changed and was our top priority, Jonathan still treated me like a VIP. We selected Jonathan and his company to help us redesign and install our new front yard landscaping. The results are outstanding. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and many neighbors have stopped to tell us how impressed they are with the transformation. Jonathan's communication, detailed explanations and timeliness stood out amongst virtually any other landscape design or contractor we have hired in the past. To be honest, we will ONLY use this company for any landscape design, changes and enhancements going forward. Jonathan earned our trust from start to finish. We found Jon through a Google search looking for someone to help with landscaping and design. He showed up on time and walked the property with us, answering our questions, and discussing options that would work best with our budget/conditions of our yard (sun, shade, etc...) Jon really cares about his work and put in the effort to understand what we were looking for. This was glaringly obvious when we had a couple of other larger companies come by for consultations and estimates who were no where near as customer focused or creative. He is responsive, extremely knowledgeable, polite, and fair priced. We couldn't recommend Jon more for someone's landscaping project including our friends and family who are planning to use him in the future after seeing his work firsthand.

Re-landscaping an entire front yard and replacing all the ground cover is a big job. So, I needed a company that could not only handle the work, but also come up with a good design. (I'm not very plant savvy.) And I wanted to hire someone who could communicate with me and educate me along the way. That's why I chose Jonathan at TC&D.
I like his friendly, but "no-nonsense" style. I also appreciated the members of his various crews: all of them hard workers, who showed that they cared about the finished product (which came out beautifully).
As stressful as a project like that can be, Jonathan made it a lot less stressful, by the way he dealt with problems we encountered along the way. And as a result, he will be my go-to guy, when it's time to update my back yard.

We hired Terra Consulting & Design after purchasing our home in Windermere. As the "before photo" illustrates, the previous owners embodied eclectic landscaping taste that wasn't quite our cup of tea. Our project was a full remodel, including demo, design, paver repositioning and selection of new floral & shrubs (we also incorporated lighting through a separate contractor). Our results were fantastic! Jonathan immediately connected to our vision and navigated us through the entire project ~ within budget! Our experience was outstanding and we look forward to engaging Terra again for Phase II patio work!

Jonathan did a great job re-imagining my front yard - I had just bought a very cute home in College Park that desperately needed a landscaping refresh. I hired Jonathan to do a total landscape cleanup, irrigation, new design, and install. He is experienced, knowledgeable, has great taste & attention to detail, and has a laid back yet professional approach which was a great fit for me. We had a little miscommunication come up during the project, but Jonathan cleared it up immediately and made it right. What more could you ask for. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the results and how painless Jonathan made the process.

Jonathan was fantastic to work with. His design for our yard was gorgeous and he worked with us on plant selection and modifications throughout the process. We had just finished up on construction of our pool and patio and the rest of our yard was pretty much a clean slate. Jon was referred to us and he immediately connected with us and set up a time to come and take a look at our back yard. Jon asked about what was most important to us - which we shared - and then we left the rest up to his design knowledge and what would look best. Once we agreed on everything, he was able to knock out our job in very little time and everything he did was top notch. He also coordinated with others for a our retaining wall, irrigation and landscape lighting which really made the process simple on us. Jon was great to work with, communicated very well and created a stunning landscape for us. We couldn’t be happier and I’d hire him again in a heartbeat if we had to do it all over.

Excellent, we hired Terra (Jonathan) to design and install a total landscape renovation on our property and were 100% satisfied. We knew nothing about plants, Jonathan drew up some ideas and we talked through our options and made it happen. Note that Jonathan is a designer, and he has an artistic style. We originally offered up some ideas from houses we like in the neighborhood and while noted, he really wasn’t too interested in the ideas but instead drew up his vision for our property and worked from there. This is not a bad thing, in retrospect it’s exactly what we needed and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Our design included removal of a plain walkway and replaced with a beautiful paver pathway that made more sense for the house. His pricing was also very fair and within our expectations and he and team worked hard on the install. He has also since followed up just to check on things and ensure we aren’t having any troubles with maintenance. Highly recommended and great service

This company, Terra Consulting and Design, is the one you absolutely have to hire. It has taken me almost 3 years to write this review, but I stand by this company 100% for any future projects. Jonathan's vision, work ethic, and commitment completely blew me away. My yard is absolutely stunning, private and I can't wait to see what he envisions for me next!

Jonathan is extremely talented in landscape design. We met with him, he came up with a drawing for our new driveway and landscaping, and he worked with us every step of the way, making sure we were happy. He listened to what our priorities were (more area to park being #1), he came up with a plan, and helped us hire a paver company. He checked in with us daily and always answered texts and phone calls. We absolutely love the end result, it is above and beyond our expectations. My husband and I have owned multiple homes and this has been by far the best experience. Jonathan was amazing to work with through the entire process from design to the finished product.
