My husband and I called this company because when we bought our house, a little more than two years ago, their number was left in our cabinet if we had a problem with our air conditioning. Well our air conditioning stopped working. I called them on March 3, 2020, spoke to a man named Richard. He told us that they couldn’t get out to service us till the next day, March 4, 2020 . That he had a window between 12-4 that we would get service. By 3 the next day we haven’t heard anything. In the mean time a church member told us to call a specialist from our church. So we cancelled the appointment We had with Maximum. But while I was talking to Richard, he told us that we only had a 2 year warranty on our air conditioner and he said it was no longer covered under the warranty. He said, that they purchased one year and that the company we bought our house from (LGI) bought the other year.
The Specialist that came from our church within an hour of us calling them told us that we had between a 5 to 10 year warranty on our air conditioner. So Maximum lied to us. Why? We don’t know. But they lied! That says a lot to us about their integrity!! Watch out if you call this company. Have all your facts!!! All air conditioners have more than a two year warranty. We were told we would have to pay 85.00 just for them coming out plus parts and labor. He was on speaker phone so my husband heard everything he said.

I bought a new house and found in the paperwork left by the previous owner that Maximum installed the two A/Cs, which are old now. I requested them to come out and give me an estimate for new systems. The technician came out and was very nice, but out of the blue I am told I owe him $250.00!!! I paid it but then never heard a word about the cost of new ACs, which is why I called in the first place! After reading the other reviews I am becoming uncomfortable with using this company.

My A/C shut off yesterday for the 5th time in 1.5yrs!!! And exactly this old…it’s new, only 1.5 yrs old. It was installed by Maximum in NEE PULTE home!

I called the after hours Emergency and dispatch noted they will have technician reach out to me. About an hour later I received a text from Jose to say he can’t come out bc he only works til 9PM….It was 7PM!! I informed him I spoke with Pulte Warranty and they’d be reaching out to him too since my unit is still under Warranty! He responds with they don’t work with Pulte anymore so the cost would be $175 for service call + cost repair! …ITS UNDER WARRANTY!! You installed the system within 2yrs!!…they never came out to help!

Also, Maximum is now Air2 Homes AC!!! This is same company! …changed the name but still same results! BAD, UNRELIABLE, NO CARE

Pulte homes had Maximum air installed my A/C unit. So every year I had it serviced with same. The unit is only 3 years old. It went out 5/21/2025 . I just had it serviced 12/31/2024.I called Maximum air and ask if they would come today, because I have young kids that are still in school. They said they couldn't today and that Maximum air was bought out by us. The manager as she said she was acted like she could care less about my concern and me questioning the service that I payed for every year. It shouldn't have went out, and since it did they should honor the warranty and try a little harder to help me with this matter. I'll never use or recommend this company.
