My air conditioner was quite old and stopped working. A friend recommended Joe of Vortechs. I called and Joe arrived at my home that morning. Joe was very pleasant, made a very good impression, and explained what he could offer me. I had a brand new system installed the next day! I am very happy with the service I received from Vortechs, very nice installers also. Pleasant experience.

On time. Chris did an excellent job. Great Customer Service skills as well as technical skills. Although it took calling in a Joe Lippens, a specialist on the Carrier brand, to further diagnosis of the problem, the results were positive. Both Joe and Chris provided service that gave me, the customer, a sense that I was dealing with a reputable company who wanted a business relationship not just a one shot repair. I felt that the cost of the repairs were reasonable. I would highly recommend this company.

We love the honest and fair service we receive from Vortech. Originally, several years ago, we had five companies try to figure out what was wrong with our unit and this company was the only one to find the problem. Our a/c is still working like new. You will not be disappointed when using Vortech.

I have used Vortechs Heating and Air Company a few years back and when my AC needed a repair/maintenance - I knew who to call! I called them and within an hour I had a technician at my door. I contacted my home warranty company on Monday morning to report my ac not cooling. Within 30 minutes, I received a call and appointment for Wednesday (not bad for 100 degree summer days). On Tuesday afternoon, I got a call from Joe stating that they had an opening, and they could be at my house in 30 minutes. Awesome!
Shortly after, he and Sheena were at my door, even equipped with shoe covers. They took their time and did a thorough inspection of the inside and outside units, the thermostat, and the duct work in my attic. They were very professional, took the time to explain exactly what they inspected and their findings during the service call, and I was never pressured to buy any parts or services that I did not need. He even graciously cleaned up the unit, replaced some aging insulation, and updated the voltage to increase the amount of air coming out of the vents. I'm noticing a huge difference already. Thank you so much! I won't hesitate to call them again when I need service.

We recently completed our second project with Vortechs and were very pleased with the quick turnaround of receiving a proposal, answering our questions and completing the project. Everyone we dealt with was courteous, professional and really cared about helping us.

Great service! They tell you what they will do before even getting to your house, and then after analyzing the system, they review everything with you, including costs. My repair was very reasonable and he was able to begin immediately, and finishing in a reasonable amount of time. Vortechs is reliable, trustworthy, and reasonably priced. I found them to get a second opinion about my AC and they came out to evaluate and gave me a better option all around. Since then, they responded quickly to a service call I put in (turned out a small debris got into my fan). I am so glad we found them. Highly recommended! Best in class customer service.

Joe (and Joe) were fantastic! Very professional from the time they arrived to the time they left. The installation area was taken care of and cleaned up perfectly once the job was complete. We were walked through the details of our installation and everything we needed to know to work our new unit. For any future AC or heating needs, we will call Vortechs without any hesitation. Definitely top of their game!

I thought I had the beginnings of a/c problems. Joe explained very clearly that all is working properly. I'm very happy with Vortech's service. I've had them for several years. Even in this extremely hot, humid weather, Joe is pleasant & always smiling. AND he's always on time!

My home warranty company sent Vortechs to fix my A/C. The technician (Joe) was, prompt, very pleasant and very professional. He kept me informed the entire time he was at my home. He had to return on another day due to an electrical repair that required additional authorization from the home warranty company. He spent a great deal of time working on my outside unit. My air conditioning has never worked better! I highly recommend this company.

Excellent communication from the office, and on-site service was excellent by Joseph, and I believe, Lincoln. Very professional, great communication and very thorough in assessing the problem and resolving it. They installed my split AC unit back in 2019, which is why I called them to repair an issue it was having. Two thumbs up!!

Joe and his team worked diligently to source an alternative for a long-lead (1 month!) A/C part and provided expedited repair service on an A/C unit in my home. He is very thorough in diagnosing and explaining any problems. I'm very satisfied with his clear communication and status updates throughout the repair process. I definitely plan to use Vortechs for future A/C work.

Very happy to have chosen Vortechs for my air conditioner. They were very prompt in getting someone out to fix the problem. Joe was very thorough in his explanation in what caused the unit to stop working and the steps that were needed to get it going again. He took the time to show me how to easily work the thermostat, which I have always hated and how to maintain the handler for optimum performance. Felt like I was in good hands.

Vortechs Heating and Air's technicians are smart and they are there to help you. They have an indepth understand of building science and they use their knowledge in a positive way. They don't try to scare people into buying things they don't need. If they say something needs fixed, it needs fixed. If you're worried about something that is normal and doesn't need fixed, they explain why it's normal and why you don't need to worry about it. It's honestly better than a psychiatrist.

We have been customers of Vortechs Heating & Air for many years now! They are friendly, knowledgeable, reliable, and (sometimes most importantly) they are fast! A/C’s don’t go out when you don’t need them! Joe and the team are always great at keeping us in the loop and being fair. Not only do we recommend Vortechs, but we will continue to do business with them as well.

Contacted my home warranty company and was dispatched to Vortechs. The work was done to satisfaction, but my issue is that the technician was not wearing a mask when he was in my home. My A/C is one thing, but the safety and health of my family is another. Thanks for wearing shoe covers to keep from tracking in dirt, but maybe you should look into keeping up with what is going on in the world when it comes to keeping your employees and your customers safe.
If he wore a mask, they’d get 5 stars.

Had them come out to my office to look at a thermostat saying "no power". technician was on time, however after the diagnosing the problem as an issue with the water removal system, i was presented with a $1800 package for the solution. further questioning got me down to $650, however with a lack of proper explanation i refused service. The next day i had another company come out and they were able to resolve the issue within 20 minutes due to a broken wire for $180.

I'm sad to say that my experience with this company has gone from good to meh. I have a compressor about to take a header. It was not fixed. It was not fixed because they offered to fix the compressor for about $5k. That's a whole new unit, guys. The first time I had them come out, roughly two years ago, they were helpful, courteous and informative. The wanted to sell me a new A/C unit, but they offered to do that, plus give me new ducts and a good warranty at the same price. To see that Vortechs went from that initial offer, two years ago, to yesterday's attempted robbery is very disappointing. Now, my technician was courteous and insightful. He seemed like a nice enough guy and all, so no complaints there. But the price tag on the services are ridiculous and even predatory. They're okay for minor help, but I would no longer recommend them to friends. Sorry guys. I feel bad being honest about this. My experience with the staff has always been very polite, courteous and prompt. It's why I feel disappointed about the quote yesterday.

Joe showed up, did some work, and got my system temporarily running—but the lack of transparency, poor communication, upselling without detail, and unprofessional behavior outweigh the positives.

I was initially optimistic when I got a next-day appointment and the tech (Joe, the owner) arrived early. He explained what he was doing, which I appreciated—but the experience quickly went downhill.
When he found a leaking coil, he refused to quote the repair, saying it wasn’t worth it. That decision isn’t his to make. As a paying customer, I should’ve been given the option and the numbers. Instead, he pushed a vague 6-month refrigerant refill deal based on assumptions, without providing any clear breakdown of costs, parts, or unit specs. No mention of tonnage, features—just generic sales talk. Plus, he claimed a new unit could arrive "hopefully this month (May) but the factory is saying AUGUST". Not great for the Florida summer!
To make it worse, my last impression was him complaining about past clients he didn’t like dealing with. Not professional. After he left, I got a basic invoice—no diagnosis, no details, no pricing per pound of refrigerant. When I asked for a diagnosis to use for a second opinion, I was dismissed with a text saying the invoice was sent.
I did get a second opinion from Kalos, and the difference was night and day. I received detailed quotes, real options, and full transparency—exactly what should have happened the first time. My new unit was installed within 48-hours, not 2-4 months!
I regret buying into the 6-month refill package, which admittedly I did out of desperation to get my air back on but also believing a new unit would take months to install. I wouldn’t recommend Vortech.
