They by far were the highest quote but I figured you get what you pay for and I wanted my mulch job done well. I paid for them to clean out the flower beds, lay weed fabric, and lay mulch. They took many short cuts and did not clean the beds properly or lay the fabric correct either. They also scalped my st augustine grass and didnt edge well and in some areas didnt edge at all. When I bought up my issues Joe just said it got hot but they worked hard. He took no accountability for the issues and instead tried to convince me it was in my mind. Just because you pay top dollar doesnt mean you get top service. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company!!!!

Although I pay for weekly lawn service, this company failed to provide 3 weeks of lawn service in October and hasn't serviced my lawn so far in the month of November, and today is the 10th. In addition, their phone receptionist Jessica is unprofessional, acts as though she doesn't know what is going on and needs better conflict resolution skills for the position she holds with this company. In addition, when speaking to the owner of the company, Joe Pool, I explained to him that I was missing several cuts in the month of October and his reply was that he does not get rich off of my $134 a month.

Due to their unprofessionalism and missed services I'm going with a new lawn care service provider at this time.

Calling up your former client and then bombarding them with text messages about a negative review is NOT cool. Especially when I'm not the one who wrote the review; my brother did. Come on, this is common sense. You're going to have good reviews and bad reviews, it's nature of the business. I've never written a google review before until now, simply because of the experience I've had with the company. Although my brother's experience with this company was way worse (they did jack up his irrigation system and have not reimbursed him for 6 weeks now since the incident), my personal experience with this company was that the company is very unorganized and late with service. They had a wrong phone number on-file and had emails mixed up. Hence the confrontational phone call to a wrong person. Also, I called several times to have a service agreement emailed to me, only for it to go to a wrong email every time. So if you're looking into this company, beware.

May 2022 to purchase a home but the yard and grass was horrible so I googled landscaping and Guardian was the first business I seen. I reached out and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Joe. He asked me to send him some photos, after receiving the photos, he examined the property and gave me a reasonable quote. Everything was so professional fast and simple.
Highly recommended for all landscaping needs. I give Guardian landscaping an A+

Guardian is an A+ company! Their quality of work is off the charts. They always go above and beyond to meet their customer's needs. I can expect and receive top notch lawn service every time they come out. I have used their service to provide weekly lawn maintenance, yard clean up, landscaping services, and much more. The Guardian company is more than a team, it's a family!

My mother loves her lawn but do to a recent surgery she has been unable to properly care for it as usual. Choosing Guardian Property Maintenance was the best decision I could have ever made. They are Fast, Affordable and most of all Efficient. She told them how she likes her lawn and they definitely fulfilled her request.

Came home to damaged sprinkler system wiring and grass scalped at several spots on 7/5/19. Contacted Guardian about the issues, Joe asked for pictures as proof. Emailed and texted the pictures, didn't get a response or acknowledgment. Called to follow up the next day, been told by a customer service rep that Joe will call me shortly from the truck. Waited several hours, got in touch with Joe myself; he told me he'd stop by in the next couple of days. Nothing was done, so I got in touch with Joe again on 7/11. He tells me that he's been busy, but assured me that he would take care of it, that it's an easy fix, etc. Fast forward two weeks, still nothing. By now a portion of my lawn sat unwatered in the scorching summer heat for 3 weeks since the incident.
To recap, Guarding tech damaged the sprinkler system and scalped the grass. I didn't get any apology, just assurances that the issue would get rectified. 3 weeks later nothing got fixed. I suggest to stay away from Guardian, the lawn techs do a sloppy job and the management doesn't care about your complaints.

UPDATE: Joe made no attempts to rectify the damage done.

I have been using Guardian for several years now (after a bad experience with another lawn company) and Guardian has been great. They have been very reliable -- the only time there has been a schedule change is during heavy rain and lightning when it wasn't safe for them to come out. They have always done an adequate mowing and edging job and have never damaged anything on my property. I would recommend to anyone.

This review is for the outstanding workmanship that keishon has done on my property several times. The company itself is decent but the quality of work Keishon does I don't want anyone else cutting my yard from now on he's the only person allowed to do my yard. Thankyou again Keishon excellent job you done and your customer service also beyond expectations

Today I met a new lawn crew consisting of 2 professional workers their names were Perry and pretty sure the other gentleman was named Steve. I had a few requests that I made note to them. I did ask who was in charge for today? The reasoning behind the question was Everytime they would come to cut the lawn there was a different foreman and crew. So there was never a working relationship allowed to form. Today was completely different situation. I showed Perry what had to be done and he jumped right on the work required. Edging, spraying, pulling weeds in the beds, care edging around the pool screens. He and Steve did one helluva job. I spoke to the owner Joe Pool and requested that Perry and Steve be assigned to my property permanently and Joe agreed no problem. The new crew did an excellent job and hopefully we can continue our relationship for many more years. Thank you Perry and Steve. Also thanks to Joe Pool.

Absolute untrustworthy company. Had their service for quite some time, and while they got the job done, I had canceled their services after moving. 2 months later I'm still getting charged and for what? I do not reccomend this shady company. Absolute dissapointment after being a loyal customer.

In the beginning, the service was great and thorough. I had weekly lawn maintenance care on my property. I noticed the workers cut up my pool pump hose that allows the water to be let out. I found out on my own without any notification and sent pictures to the customer service… no response. I also paid to have plants under 6 feet maintained but I noticed this was not being done. I cancelled my plan with them and was informed it would take 30 days (understandable), but I am getting charged again for an entire month three days prior to my “last service”.

When you are looking for lawn care this summer, be mindful of the customer service and consistency in the work done on your home.

This company is awful. We finally canceled as we have not been happy with our service. They have broken two of our sprinklers and have caused water to come up from under the grass as a result. They’ve said they’re going to come out twice now to fix it and never showed up. We also invested to get sod put in our yard which started dying after they came. They have also mowed the wrong house numerous times, as I’ve been home, see them pull up and start doing our neighbors. Beyond dissatisfied, truly a joke of a company

They had the best price for a weekly lawn service, and we just wanted a quick mow. But they actually take amazing care of our lawn, they’re incredibly fast but still very thorough. We wanted our lawn to stay neat but now it’s actually thriving and looks great.
And to the reviews that are complaining about missed weeks etc, the only time we’ve ever had weird scheduling is weeks with heavy, heavy rain. Even if it doesn’t rain the day of your service, you have to keep in mind they’re probably catching up on the days they couldn’t go out. They always eventually come out! You can see the proposed lawncare dates and if they change on your profile.

Very pleased with Guardian Lawn. They are quick to respond when I had an inquiry and I am very happy with how they maintain our yard!

Guardian is fantastic! I was having problems with my prior lawn service and came across this company. They do an excellent job with the lawn and trimming the bushes. I highly recommend them; they give you heads up if they have to reschedule. Try them out, they're great!

Update 10/7/2024: With the craziness of closing on my home, I called to cancel service just a week before the closing date. They typically require 30 days notice to cancel, but Tiana was calm and explained the "why" which I can appreciate. However, she was also willing to go a step further to ask her supervisor if they could give me a prorated amount. I genuinely appreciate a company that is willing to work with you, and overall they did a great job managing the email notifications, billing, and maintaining the lawn.

I've had so many bad experiences with lawn care services. Guardian lawn and landscape has, by far, been the best. They've been very accommodating! When another service I hired didn't show up for two weeks, and I was trying to get my house ready for sale, I found Guardian at the last minute. After asking, they managed to send someone out, same-day I found them, to give me a quote. They also accommodated change requests to the quote (how many trees needed), and then moved up my service date to help me get it ready for listing pictures that were scheduled sooner than expected. They were also very responsive and sounded so kind each time we spoke on the phone. They sent photos to confirm which trees, and then more photos to show the work completed. I appreciate the due diligence and it looks amazing! Thank you Guardian Lawn & Landscape!

I have been a customer for 3 years. The past few months have been a struggle and I eventually discontinued my service. They left my fence gate open twice and my dog almost got loose. They cut up my Halloween lights. This past, and final, service they completely obliterated my climbing jasmine vines that covered this fence. I loved those vines as they bloom in the winter and smell wonderful. Now we’re left with this and it looks horrible. I’m hoping they will survive the winter and grow back. But needless to say that was the final straw.

Great company, and people. They fix anything we need, keep everything looking neat and clean.

They have a portal which makes things so much easier, just take a picture of your stuff and send it to them and they fix it next time they come out. Also emergency clean up but we haven’t needed that.

They’re super fast, in and out. we have four dogs with 400 toys out back, and they don’t destroy them with the mower or have a problem with them being out there so 10/10 form me.
