Our lawn was not looking too good. The company we had taking care of the lawn were horrible. Talked to my neighbor and she said use Tru Green they are experts of lawn care and with just a few weeks all dry patches were all filled in and looking better than ever. Thanks yall!

Mr Hamilton is our service tech and he is truly the best. He takes care in making sure that the job is done to perfection. His customer service is a 10/10! You would never be disappointed in him if he is your tech for perimeter pest control.

Service report seemed thorough but disappointed the tech never rang the doorbell to speak with me. Had the same compliant on my shrub service. Why don’t you use door hang tags to indicate services performed your portal only showed my turf report and nothing about my shrubs. It’s hard to confirm anyone was even at my home a I never saw your technicians at either visit. One came at 7am before I was up and the other came when we were home but we never saw him. I would have expected better contact with your company

Update review:
Since June 2025 my lawn has been terrible with dead spots and weeds. I’ve sent many complaints and even had their local branch manager assess, but there has not been any improvement. Here are more pictures of my entire lawn that is NOT green and looks terrible. What is the issue?

Terrible experience. Our grass kept getting worse while we were told it would be handled. The manager eventually said nothing could be done and that we should cancel. No one ever mentioned that resodding was required. Extremely poor communication and completely unfair to customers.

Very dishonest company. They will perform additional services when you are not home and charge for you them even if you’ve denied them, promise you a refund for the service you denied, and then refuse the refund when it’s time to issue it and say they have no record of any of it.

Terrible quality. My lawn was green and healthy whole winter until I sign with Truegreen. The very first service and my grass almost died. Now my neighbors who has no grass services at all has better grass then my. I can't believe. If you want green and healthy grass - don't use Truegreen!

I called trugreen because of my HOA. I was told it would be about $70 a month. After the first treatment they charged me $140. The representative on the phone said its because they do double this time of year. I was told they spray every 5 weeks and then told every 6 weeks. This is ridiculous! Lost a customer for life! I do not recommend! You give them your card # and they will charge you whatever they want and you will not get refunded!

No matter how many times a homeowner calls, TruGreen always responds promptly to address their customers’ needs and concerns.
I’ve been with them for many years and highly recommend them to anyone who wants to see their lawn lush and green.

The actual worst company I’ve ever worked with. Their sales tactics are so predatory and bullying. They will not stop coming to my door unannounced and unrequested. I have asked repeatedly for them to stop and told them I don’t want their service. The next time they show up, I will call the authorities.

TruGreen has been exceptional for our pest control needs! Hamilton is our master technician, and not only are his skills impeccable, but he is detail- oriented, and explains everything. He takes his time with his clients and gives advice on how to do your part for prevention. We aren’t just some quick pit stop like we were with other companies. Their products don’t hurt our pup, and no more bugs! We always know when they’re coming and can call anytime. We use their lawn service too, and it’s fantastic! Our lawn is lush and green- and our techs are fantastic! You want a company you can trust for pest AND lawn? TruGreen is the last company you’ll ever need to hire. They make YOU and your home THEIR priority!

They’re very organized with scheduling and timing. But no service will be provided on Friday, Saturday & Sunday! Due to different technicians comes every time. My lawn became worse! They don’t inspect what’s wrong and work on fixing it with the right treatment!
The bottom line TruGreen will be good for customers with a green and beautiful lawn that all what it need regular scheduled application to maintain it. But they are not here to fix !!!!!
It’s been 8 months since the start my service!!
I would rather go with small business owner that will take care of my yard. Not wasting my money!!!

Great company.
They back their service and make a point of following through in making sure you're satisfied. They WILL see that you're satisfied, whether you like it or not. They seem to respect your lawn and they actually listen to you.

My In-laws lawn, maintained by a different company, always has weeds. My lawn under TruGreen, has probably the best looking grass in the neighborhood.

I have tried several companies and Tru Green is the only one to address crab grass. They are always on time and very professional. My lawn has never looked this good. It may take some time to get a lawn in good shape, but they keep trying and address any concerns I have. I highly recommend them.

I have been with Trugreen since 2023 for lawn care & my lawn had been great!
However for the past 2 months, Trugreen was not fixing the actual/real problem of the grass. Brown & yellow patches with brown bald areas all over the lawn & the technicians just kept saying presence of weeds & heat stress. I asked if bugs are a possibility, they said there aren’t bugs in the lawn. They just kept applying weed killers & potash, but my lawn is still yellow & the brown bald areas spread out. Last month i asked for a manager can come look at my lawn & assess the problem, they just sent a technician to service. Now my lawn is a mess, thanks to Trugreen!

My property is quite large. There is no consistency as to whom will be servicing the yard each time. Therefore, many of the technicians do not know the dimensions of the yard, nor do they seem to care, by reading the notes that their boss provides. Consistency is essential.

These people ruined my lawn. They dont know how to work Bahia grass and treated it as it was St Augustine. I hired them to take care of the weeds since we dont have the time but they were for a lack of better words sloppy from day one , the grass became white then yellow and we still got weeds. They said we needed to water it more... its bahia grass... and if you know bahia you know its grass that thrives in dry weather... with the amount of rain we've been getting and the extra water we give it that wasnt the issue. The backyard was not treated by them but by us with stuff you find at home depot for half their monthly charge and is thriving, has no weeds and its full and green. Now we have to spend even more money and time to fix our lawn than we had originally planned. Customer service tried their best but lawn "technicians". are inexperienced, undertrained and the "supervisors" are as well. Attached ive included images of the front yard they "treated" vs the backyard we treated on our own.

After 9 months of service, my lawn looks worse than ever!
I paid for 12 months, but had to cancel service because it kept getting worse. Instead of just weeds, I now have weeds AND brown/purple spots. I've spoken to countless phone agents and even had the "area manager" personally look at it. Horrendous service. I'm so frustrated dealing with TruGreen.
On top of that, they kept trying to upsell me and tell me that my shrubs need treatment because they are infected... I don't even have shrubs.

Lawn service. The technician that serviced my lawn today Jeffrey Kendrick Was beyond amazing. Jeff was very professional, very polite and did an excellent job! Also…the representative that I spoke with earlier today was also beyond amazing Patricia Gray was very kind and informational to assure the technician was able to arrive after 1 PM for todays Lawn service! I’ve been with True Green for a lot of years and I am so pleased with everything that they do! thanks to TRUGREEN my lawn looks so beautiful!!! thank you Again Patricia and Jeff! Keep Up all your good work TRUGREEN!!!

When I hired TruGreen a year ago last October I was looking for a partner to help improve my lawn. What I got was a provider of chemicals, who left my yard and my pocketbook worse off. The attached picture #1 taken 2 October 2025 at the end of my contract with TruGreen was an area of concern. I had sodded it with St. Augustine and it looked similar to picture #2 at the beginning of my contract. Area #1 improved a little, but by the end of the contract the St. Augustine was all dead. The Area #2 looks the same as when they started, the area never filled in. Also, I had a large area of jasmine, that all died during the time of my contract with them that had been growing well for the last 5 years, since we had purchased the home.

I hired them because the sales representative said they would do soil testing. When the tech presented and I asked about testing the soil in Area #1 he looked confused. They did not do that. He took the sample anyway and it sat on his supervisor’s desk and was never tested.

I called the company and they sent a knowledgeable supervisor. He gave me advice about the yard, took soil samples, but said the tests would be very basic, suggested I water the yard more than the county ordinance allowed, and gave me a free chemical application. I followed his watering advice for a while (I have a well for watering) and his other tips. The soil tests came back unremarkable. Eventually the St. Augustine in Area#1 all died. I was offered another free application of chemicals.

When the jasmine died in a very short period, I called the supervisor and he said the chemicals they had on their truck would not kill jasmine.

There was no continuity in the techs that presented at the property. I did not know when they were coming until the day before. They were unable to give me a better schedule so I could try and be present to discuss what was happening to the yard.

I was looking for a partner to help me improve my yard. I did not get that. This company provided the chemical applications as specified in our contract. When I expressed my concerns they attempted to address them.

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!!! They let my grass go bad and after WEEKS of trying to get a manager he calls me and has the nerve to try and say its “dry grass” and when i told him it is NOT and i had multiple people including trugreen tell me it was not he LAUGHED i have never been so upset with a company in my life instead of finding a solution his first thought was to put blame! When the problem was the grass not treated/ chinch bug properly beyond pisst!!!!
