Constraction reviews in Oviedo, Florida

I have to say Scott was absolutely perfect. He came to the house he checked the roof. Saw damage and informed me where (with pictures)
His quote was very good and once the contract was signed he was constantly in touch telling me the next steps.
We got a new roof and gutters and he was on top of it all and never asked for the final payment until he was sure I was satisfied
Perfect customer appreciation
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone. In fact I did! To my friend and he is now working with Scott on his new roof. Well done and thank you

We reached out to Centaur for a roofing estimate as they were highly recommended by neighbors and had good reviews.

The gentleman informed me he would be late for the estimate, which was ok. He arrived 45 minutes after the delayed arrival time. Not a big deal, there was communication which I appreciated.

During the visit, the gentleman said I should have already received some information regarding an estimate, but I had not. He said he would look into it and that we’d have an estimate for repair/re-roof in 2 days.

I did not hear back, so I called the gentleman a week later asking if they would be finished with the estimate. He said he would touch base with me that evening with an update.

It’s been 22 days since the visit was made and we’ve not been contacted with an estimate or request for more information. We would have respected the decision not to provide an estimate if they had just told us up front that they didn’t have time for us. We’ll have to look elsewhere.

Communication was great until after they got all their money. Was told that my bill from FPL was going to be $9 per month and when I got my first bill it was $27. Don't feel solar was worth it. Had an issue with my solar panels soon after they were installed and my message was ignored. Had to call Enphase multiple times and eventually a person knew how to help me. I would not recommend them or solar.

Julian Felipe Henao was very helpful in getting everything set up. He was always quick to respond when I contacted him. The roof looks great and very well done. If I ever need anything else done to my roof, I will definitely use Centaur Roofing again.

The whole crew, from initial sale to final installation, was very professional, highly motivated and very congenial. The installation crew was conscientious, aware of their surroundings and very concerned for the cleanliness and safety of the job site. Paul, who was my initial contact with Centaur Construction, was always available, either by phone or actually on the job site for any questions or concerns I may have had.

When the job was completed, the area around my home was clean and free of any debris. Overall, the Centaur crew was very professional and did an outstanding job. I will highly recommend them to anyone who has roofing requirements.

I was very pleased with Centaur, just had roof installed along with skylights. We were working under a time constraint with our insurance company and Centaur got the job done in time, provided necessary documentation for our insurance company and took care of the permits etc.... Made our lives much less complicated. They did a great job and cleaned up as we expected. I would recommend them to anyone needing their services!

I wish I could give ten stars! Centaur was a whole different experience than we’ve ever had working with a contractor. Paul was so courteous, always followed through and made sure everything was done perfectly! It was an incredible experience and we never had to worry. Everyone showed up when they said they would. All documentation was clear and communication was excellent. We were able to ask questions easily, and Paul made sure we understood all the steps and how long things would take, and work was completed as promised and on time. We got quotes from out her companies and Centaur was both affordable and offered great quality. They even worked with our extremely strict HOA and were always professional. Centaur was an incredible company to work with and I highly recommend Paul as he handled everything we threw at him with ease.

After hail damage last year we reached out to Paul with Centaur for an inspection and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Not only did he show up with the insurance adjuster and get back on the roof to help again, but they helped all the way through the roof replacement. When additional repairs were needed Paul explained it clearly and walked through how it would be addressed. I was so impressed by the end that we had them repair other areas we had been meaning to get to. The roof looks great, the cost was very reasonable, everyone was professional, and they cleaned up every day before they left which was really appreciated. I have recommended them several times already and will continue to. Great company.

Centaur Construction did a great job in replacing our roof. They were very professional in getting our repair done in a timely and extremely efficient manner. We were very pleased with all aspects of their work. Paul Fennewald was exceptional in his coordination with my insurance company and keeping me informed of all transactions. He was a great resource to rely on for information during this time. Thanks again Paul.

Paul and Centaur were exceptional! They jumped through many hoops helping us with getting a new roof while also in the process of selling our home. They understood the time constraints due to our special circumstances and worked with us all the way through, even to calling us after our closing to be sure all went well! The new roof looks great, all parties and even our picky HOA were very happy with the results! Paul was amazing with communication and was always helpful with any questions or concerns. Everything was on time and everyone was professional. Highly recommend!

HOMEOWNER BEWARE: Centaur Construction left behind driveway rust and tar damage.

The fact that we have reached out to the management and owners of the company with no response is even more concerning. As a paying customer, we deserve to have our concerns addressed and resolved in a timely manner.

The rusted container that Centaur Construction placed directly on your driveway pavers and tar spills should have been dealt with properly to prevent damage in the first place. Unfortunately, it appears that the company did not take the necessary precautions by placing the dumpster on wooden blocks or covering the driveway to protect it from spills, leading to damage on our driveway that won't come off after power washing.

It is disappointing that a company that earns over $30,000 in a day or two cannot even take responsibility for its mistakes and make things right for its customers. I would not recommend Centaur Construction to anyone looking for a reliable and responsible roofing company.

If you value your property and expect companies to take responsibility for their mistakes, then BEWARE of Centaur Construction. They must be more accountable and professional when things go wrong, not just when cashing the check.
