Please let me start by saying the nursery is beautiful and they have a very large selection of trees and plants. We hired them to re-do our entire landscaping on our new home. The staff was very knowledgeable and hard working. However, this is where everything changes. Two days after the trees were planted, we had a rain storm which caused one of the palm trees to tilt (there were no supports around the tree at all). I called Palm City Palms and let them know what happened and asked if they could send someone to straighten the tree. I was told to stand on the ball of the tree and try to straighten it myself. I had a few friends come over and we straightened it ourselves. That was our first issue. The second issue we had was approximately two weeks after the landscaping was done when one of the hibiscus trees that they installed died. I called Palm City Palms to see if they would come take a look and maybe replace it. I was told there were no warrantees on the trees and there was nothing they can do for me. I understand plants die, but two weeks later and after over $4000 spent? I would think a company would stand behind their products for at least 30 days, especially if they are doing the installation. Everyone should know before doing business with them that there is no warranty on any of their products. If something dies or falls down, it’s your problem. They are very courteous and helpful at the beginning, but once they get their money and the job is done, you are on your own.

We absolutely love the entire team; Susan, Brooke, Jason and the entire team are always great to work with. We have partnered with them on three different projects to give our home our desired landscape. Susan has always been very helpful designing the project and working with our requests. Jason and the installation crew are professional and leave the project in great shape. If you are looking for a professional landscape team look no further.

We wanted a nice hedge to cover our AC and pool equipment and Susan designed a great hedge with Cocoplums along with a few palms. They’ve always been prompt and efficient. Great work PCP.

Sallie was an excellent member of the staff. She was knowledgeable about the plants, offered advice, and never rushed us during the two times we stopped. We took her advice and ordered 2 trees and several plants. We will be back and are recommending PCP and Sallie to friends

Sallie and crew were nice from the start and easy to work with. They delivered and installed on schedule for a fair price. We're happy with our clusia hedge and will be using there services again in the future. Thank you!

Yesterday, Susan Shay at Palms City Palms was incredibly rude to me and lost a customer for life.
I had a simple question about whether or not the $100 delivery fee should be taxed.
Rather than explain anything, Susan refused to sell me the order (they lost $500 right there) and was condescending and rude to me as I left.
Be aware that they illegally collect tax on some deliveries.
Awful experience.

Short of us being pleased with Palm City Palm’s plantings, the amount of money we have spent, and being referred by outside parties to have their in-house landscape designer provide us with a custom design plan…we are not at all pleased with the manber in which they canceled our scheduled appointment with the designer! ** we even referred their designer sight unsern (reputation alone) to our neighbors for a landscape design to comply with offset requirements for their building a new seawall on the St. Lucie River.

After calling and scheduling an appointment for May 15, given, I did not have my credit card on hand at the time as I explained I just had surgery… And that i would Return the call later in the day with my information, however, due to unforeseen circumstances was not able to do so until two days later (may 6th and may 8th).

When I did call with my CC information, I was informed that the appointment had been canceled and that someone will call me next week to schedule an appointment with the landscape designer who’s now booking into June.

In the end, we are not happy with the way this was handled and will look elsewhere for another landscape designer, plantings, and needed installation beyond your average seasonals and perennials (trees, shrubbery, etc.).

Love love love this place! Beautiful plants and tons of knowledge! Susan, the owner, is awesome!! They sell amazing fertilizer too! Everything we have purchased is healthy and thriving. She landscaped my neighbor's yard-did the layout and chose all the plants - and it is a paradise!
What she may not have, she can order for you. Trust her. She always gets it right!

TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!! One of the worst companies I have dealt with in the Stuart/Palm City area in over 30 years. Had them come out to do a Landscape design months ago. Susan came out and was very friendly and drew up what was going to be an amazing landscape refresh for our home. They came recommended by one neighbor and not so highly by another. We went with the good recommendation and are sorely regretting it. Several months ago to we called to start the project. They gave us a date of January 6th because they were so backed up. No problem. Today I called them to confirm tomorrow's install after I had taken off work to be here. I asked if 1 planting of a hedge could be changed and was told by Janice that she would check and call me back. 2 hours later I get a call back that they canceled the whole job because I changed the order. This is absolutely not true! I exchanged several emails with Susan and I was told that we need to part ways and find another company. Save your money and go somewhere else that is more reputable!

From start to finish, really enjoyable experience. Everyone was very helpful and spoke at length with me about my options. Susan came out and did a plan for my entire yard, but we only completed part of it for now. The install was quick and everything looks so great. I’m thrilled with the way it turned out. Highly recommend using Palm City Palms for your landscaping needs.

If you are looking for a place to buy a few plants for a DIY project, or a large-scale landscaping project, this is the place to come. We are never disappointed in the helpfulness and knowledge of ALL of the staff here. Super friendly, they can answer all of your questions, and will also help you carry/load your purchases. A great variety of plant and flower selections, and of course numerous palm trees. Prices are reasonable on most items.
They are currently expanding their plant area, so it should only get better from here.

Susan and her crew are absolutely phenomenal. I’d give them 10 stars if that was an option. They are unbelievably professional and knowledgeable. I don’t know the first thing about plants and they thoroughly walked us through the entire process. They’ve helped us landscape our five acre property and not only does it look stunning but they’ve repeatedly gone above and beyond every step of the way. Not only a fantastic business but really wonderful people too.

These people are awesome! I would definitely use them again. Just had a very large landscape tear out , design and installation. Brooke was extremely patient with my changes and updates. Susan, Stephen, Jason, and everyone were extremely helpful and paid attention to detail. They also gave great advice on design, plant choice, plant care, etc. Extremely happy with them.!

I could not believe how rudely I was treated by this lady! Do you talk to all your customers who have a question that way??

I went in to look at a replacement tree for a dying ligustrum. Nothing too big. I came here first because we bought a mango tree from them, so I wanted to give them repeat business. I came across a blue rubber plant there. I fell in love with the flowers, and great leaves, and it would've been a perfect fit for where we were looking to plant. The guy showing it to me didn't seem to know too much about it, and came back to me with a little info. I tagged it, and was ready to pay when my landscaper picked it up.
On my way home, I realized I forgot to ask one majorly important question to our household... Is it invasive? I called, and there was a young lady who answered the phone. I asked her the question, and she came back 20 seconds later to tell me it wasn't.

But something didn't sit right with me. When I got home, I googled the plant, and turns out it's extremely poisonous if you get the sap on you, and had lots of pet warnings, and it is an invasive plant, and is actually even illegal to sell in certain countries.

I immediately called back to talk to the same young lady. She came back with the same answer. I told her what I had read online, and that I was considering not going through with the purchase. I felt bad undermining her, but it didn't really seem like she knew what she was talking about, so I asked if I could talk to the manager to ask some more questions about it, hoping to get a more detailed answer or better explanation. Or, at the very least, tell me that's probably not the best plant for me, and guide me into another direction. Seems to me that's what a reasonable business would do...

Quite the opposite happened! When the manager Susan (I think she's the owner!)
Called me back, she said this... Almost word for word...
"This is Susan and I just want to let you know that we're going to tear up your ticket, and you can take your business elsewhere... We don't sell those kind of plants here, and what you read on the Internet is not the gospel!"
Who do you think you are lady?!? How can you talk to people like that and expect anyone NOT to leave you a review?

I took a pause, and said you know what... That's absolutely fine. I wanted to do business with you, I loved the tree, I had some concerns, and you don't even bother addressing them? You just tell me to go somewhere else? There were so many ways you could've handled my call and concerns, and you treated me like crap. I've already told my landscaper never to shop there. You better believe I'll tell anyone I know looking into plants, never to shop there.

I showed the picture to another nursery owner, and she looked right at me and said, "Oh, those are extremely poisonous!!"

I would think twice before you go to Palm City Palms, unless you know exactly what you want and don't have to talk to anyone about it. Man, what an awful lady!

Seriously impressed with the service here. Cameron was very patient and knowledgeable. Helped me get exactly what I wanted. The owner Susan showed me some palms and set up the delivery and everything for me. Really an amazing team here. The plants are amazing too!!!!

We had them do our entire yard. At first everything seemed fine. But the time needed to finish the job was more then what they slotted for. At the end of the 3rd day they left - and left tons of work not done. 2 of the plants that I said I didn’t want they planted anyway and look horrible, and now need to be replaced. We have a handicapped pet and they left hills of rocks in a pile that are dangerous for him. After 2 months we tried getting them to finish the job only to be told the remaining work would cost us more, taking no responsibility for the fact they determined the time needed to do the job. When we went there in person to t as an to them they were downright RUDE. We paid over $20,000 and still have work that needs to be done. I wouldn’t waste my time or money with them.
