We bought a condo and there were can lights in the living room. Erik came found the issue and it is fixed and our lights work. Would definitely use their service again

Erik came out on Wednesday and looked at my electrical needs, talked about options and gave me a proposal. The proposal was very self-explanatory, easy to read and the pricing was fair. I was very comfortable with Erik. He was very professional knew his company and the work to be done, he was honest. I was very impressed with him and signed a contract with a delivery date of installation on Friday, October 31. I would absolutely recommend Blue Collar and the services they offer to include electric, heating, and cooling.

We needed to install new indirect lighting in our kitchen. I spoke to James, and he told me the type of lighting to purchase. He came out and did a very professional installation and cleaned everything up.
I highly recommend these guys.

I highly recommend Blue Collar Home Services. The installer Justin arrived and replaced the old breaker panel in my condo and everything went perfectly.
From the start I met Matt who quoted the job and he was very detailed and professional, and gave me a very fair price—no surprises. The work itself was top-notch. I live in a condo and they handled the HOA paperwork along with the county permit. Highly recommend.

Matt was extremely thorough and explained everything plainly. Although the estimate to repair is considerably higher than I had hoped, Matt wasn't trying to sell me anything. He walked me through everything, answered all my questions, and I chose what to repair. I've known our house needs a lot of upgrades since we bought it, so I can't complain. I appreciate Matt showing me all the things I need to fix and giving me options.

Erik did a great job for us. We needed our outside lights repaired or replaced, and he explained what the problem was, and gave us three options to work with. We chose the total replacement, and are very happy with the end result. Thank you Erik, and thank you Blue Collar!!

Matt was wonderful knowledgeable explained everything above and beyond.
Came on time was respectful to my home wearing little booties to make sure his shoes wouldn't bring dirt in. Blue collar electric impressed me. I highly recommend using them.

What I thought was going to be the installation of a few outlets turned out to be a different situation entirely. Matt was very thorough and noted a number of items that needed to be addressed. He was not pushy at all and gave me the option to address only those items I wanted to. I chose to address everything, as I have dealt with this organization in the past, and they have always been forthright and fair.

Tanner did a perfect job, he ran into many unexpected problems and figured them out , never getting frustrated always confident. He was very knowledgeable. He never rushed and made sure everything was done right.I would highly recommend him

Matt did a comprehensive assessment of our electrical needs and even made sure our panels were in good working order. Sterling and James did a great job on installing my govee lights! They showed up when promised and kept me informed on the status of the job. Would highly recommend.

Final step in this project..Tannor did an outstanding job in every part of this job from beginning to end and actually his knowledge and mannerism is what made us accept the estimate. We just are grateful to him for his outstanding work!

Five stars for Matt! He fixed a power issue in my house today and was incredibly helpful. He explained everything he was doing as he went along, which I really appreciated. Professional and an expert at what he does. I’ll definitely be calling him for any future electrical needs!

Dan R came on 11/24 to fix a fan light. He quoted $245 to diagnose the issue, with the promise that the fee would go toward the repair. Pricey, but I agreed because I like the fan. After a quick look at the wiring and light, he said the fan couldn’t be fixed, yet I was still charged the full $245 for essentially no work and no solution.

On the follow‑up survey, I marked “I’m unhappy,” which prompted a message saying to call. I called on 11/25 and spoke with Grace, who was lovely and the only reason this review has 2 stars. She apologized, saying a manager would reach out. Two weeks passed with no call. I called again on 12/10, spoke with Grace once more, and received another profuse apology and another promise. Still no call back.

Beware: this company charged a hefty fee for no repair and then failed to honor their own satisfaction policy. The lack of accountability and communication is extremely disappointing.

James and his apprentice did a phenomenal job replacing my electrical panel. I couldn’t have asked for a better or more thorough job. James answered every question I had and gave a lot of insight and clarity into the issue I was experiencing. Thank you so much for the peace of mind, I am truly so happy with the entire experience.

Hands down 5 stars. I couldn’t be more happy that I chose Blue collar. My restaurant has a small electrical fire in the kitchen this morning and in the midst of freaking out I googled an emergency electrical company and Blue collar popped up. Being on a Sunday in the middle of a breakfast rush I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find anyone on such short notice. The nice lady answered the phone and immediately had me set up with Ryan to come out and fix the issue. In the past I’ve had many issues with the electrical in the building. Multiple companies come out and say nothing was wrong. Within 15 minutes of Ryan being there he spotted many issues and explained them to me in the most professional way. Had ever fixed within a few hours and he was on his way. I’m not a life long custom with this company I told him. Thank you for the fast replies and repair. I’ll be contacting Blue collar from here on out with any work that needs to be done for the business and my homes.

Edit: Had a concern with outdoor motion light flickering & called dispatch with concerns. They immediately scheduled someone & they solved the problem & my worries. Thanks for always going above & beyond

March 2025: We had our house completely rewired top to bottom. We were fortunate enough to get referred to Blue Collar Electric by our trusted insurance agent for years & we were extremely thankful. We were lucky to get Sterling & Bailey to give our home a whole new internal makeover to replace h switch out all the aluminum wiring.

They made the process as easy an painless as possible & even enjoyable when it came to the design/decorating elements. Thanks for the tips on the home renovation ideas making things easier for us and making my home more disabled friendly.

We took many of their suggestions, tips & tricks to better the efficiency in our home and we're very grateful for this. We highly recommend as they were very competitive in pricing, handled all ther permits & friendly attitudes.

Caiden and John from Blue Collar Electric did an outstanding job at our home today. They were very professional and thorough. We needed multiple electrical issues addressed and they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied.
We had a whole home surge protector installed, a pool disconnect with a timer, a pool grounding system, flood light, 2 outside 110 v GFCI waterproof outlets installed, a light in our garage installed and a ceiling fan switch repaired. They even surprised us with a remote for our ceiling fan.
We’d give them 10 stars if we could. From the 1st phone call to the final inspection we are more than impressed. We’d definitely recommend them and will use them again ourselves in the future.

Erik was great. Easily the best experience I've had with an electrician. Very personable and explained the situation well. He did a great job, cleaned up after himself, and I appreciated the service.

Great overall experience. Matt came out to do the estimate and he was very thorough checking my panel and meter before even getting to the install logistics just to make sure my set up could handle adding the car charger. He told us about replacing our whole home surge protector, as ours was very outdated and we could then drop the service that Duke charges for their basic protection. Andrea did the install and showed up right as scheduled. Clean, professional work. Would recommend to anyone asking. Even the office staff were great when scheduling the install.
