Brian definitely knows how to run a five-star company! He follows up to make sure his customers are 100% satisfied! We had two guys over to reroute a sprinkler system and they stayed till dark to make sure it was done right! They were on time
kind courteous knowledgeable and extremely hard working! They had a smile on their face the entire time and answered all of my questions including helping me work a new sprinkler system! I am really happy with the work that they did and you can hardly tell that they had to dig up the yard! Thank you so much for all your hard work!

Had an issue however everything was made right and I can see these guys are hard workers. I am upgrading my review and will use them again in the future.

I recently moved to the Sarasota area and had some issues with my current irrigation system on a home that I had purchased. Not sure who to call my neighbors recommended Florida Lawn Guys. It was truly the easiest process. Brian and his team were very prompt and professional and completed the job in a timely manner. Not to mention at a very reasonable and competitive price. I would certainly recommend them to my friends and family or other neighbors! A+

I called 3 artificial turf companies. Nick responded right away and gave me a date for estimate that was reasonable. 1 other was 2 weeks away for estimate and 3rd did not respond. He arrived with samples and explained the installation.
The price was very competitive with the other quote. I decided to give the job to Lawn guys. Nick worked with me on the installation date since I was finishing work around the yard.
During installation the crews showed up and cleaner up the work area everyday before leaving. There was no mess in yard from the sand and rocks, everything was taken straight from the truck. Job was competed on time and with beautiful results. I recommend you consider Lawn Guys Miami, Nick on your projects

I feel obligated to write an honest review of our experience with Florida Lawn Guys because we chose to hire them, in part, based on the many good reviews.

We needed an irrigation system installed and an entire yard re-sod, so not a small job.
The first red flag was when the owner, Brian, failed to arrive to the scheduled estimate appointment. We ultimately received an estimate comparable to 2 other estimates and decided to go with Florida Lawn Guys because they could do both the irrigation and the sod install.

The irrigation system install itself seems fine. We had multiple issues with the Node controller programming- not the controller itself. The initial programming was not done properly (twice) and the final follow up resulted in yet another programming error that had the sprinkler system running three times per day. The brand new rain sensor malfunctioned and the irrigation did not run for 3 days. Florida Lawn Guy’s fix for this was to just disconnect the rain sensor. We were told it would be reconnected at the 30 day check, which never happened. We still do not have a functioning rain sensor so our sprinklers run even when it is raining.

2 types of sod were ordered for our yard: regular St Augustine for the whole yard & (more expensive) shade tolerant sod for under our large oak trees. Install day comes and the crew installs the shade tolerant sod, not under the oak trees, but throughout our entire back yard. Brian basically says oops, it will be fine. Then he needed to order more sod and added the extra amount to our balance due.

I am giving 2 stars (instead of 1) because after 3 months, our front yard with regular St Augustine sod and properly programmed irrigation looks great. It is worth noting that we finally resorted to YouTube to figure out how to properly program the controller ourselves.
The back yard, with mistakenly laid shade sod and improperly adjusted irrigation heads, DOES NOT look great. Large patches are dead and the sod arrived with a lot of weeds. The patches are dead because the sprinklers do not reach those areas. We advised Florida Lawn Guys of these hot spots right after install and were told it was fine. It’s not fine.

Our install had one problem after another and Brian was responsive to the many issues, although always with an excuse of some sort, until the balance of our bill was paid. After that, he chose to longer respond to the ongoing issues. He did call my husband one time and set up an appointment to readjust the sprinklers, give us a schematic for the system and replace the dead sod in the back yard because it was “the right thing to do”. He was a no-show for that appointment and multiple subsequent attempts to contact Florida Lawn Guys have gone unanswered.

We hired this company to do some ground keeping and they left it 100% better than when they arrived. It was only a 2 man crew and I believe the owner was one of them. Super friendly guys and the charges are super competitive. I even set up a contract with them.

I called Broan and spoke to him about my lawn and what was best for growing grass for my 4 dogs. He was honest about not wasting money on putting sod down and informed me of the best grass to grow for my dogs needs. He gave me FREE advice and helped me feel confident in being able to do the job myself. I would highly recommend him to take care of your lawn care needs.
