Tree reviews in Pensacola, Florida

The crew that came out was fabulous. Professional, nice, cleaned up the work site well. The office staff, whenever I spoke with them, were courteous and professional and tried really hard to get a crew out to me. The only hiccup was the company trying to cancel the job last minute when it had been on the books for 2 months and they requested I take a day off from work to be there, which I did. So I was not happy when they tried to reschedule but in the end they made the effort to come out as scheduled and got the job done.

Top notch professional service. Great communication, safety culture and worksite was left clean after completion. I highly recommend.

UPDATE 05/2021: I did as the owner said in his response and was blown off, I left messages at his office and no one returned my calls. Either your response was empty platitudes or your staff is willfully defying your promise to fix your company's damages to my property.
Neighbor removed a tree and I allowed them access through my driveway. They dropped the tree directly on my fence breaking it in multiple places and never repaired or replaced it. hydrolic on the truck broke my concrete driveway they never fixed it and they left debris everywhere which punctured my wife's tire. When I called them about it they sent out someone to "do a report" then never followed up or fixed any of the damages. Would give them zero stars if I could. -
Unorganized, unprofessional, and customer service is an overseas call center. They trimmed about half of what they were supposed to, multiple re-scheduling, left big holes in the yard. The trees below were supposedly pruned 😂. Stay away from this Mickey Mouse operation!

Very pleased with the job that they did. They took down a large pine tree that was close to our house. They were very precise in bringing the branches down. Also cleaned up when they were done.
I would use them again. -
Workers listened to my concerns about placement of equipment in the yard and made sure I was satisfied with the work prior to wrapping up. Very courteous and friendly. Pickup of debris was prompt and thorough.
Very satisfied with the work! -
They awe awesome !
Prompt, show up when they say they , did an outstanding job on my parm's .
Did not oversell, the arborist James, was outstanding- as were the crew- who did the work, Mary the scheduler was a great listener- and transferred the message to the team, accurately. The team who picked up the yard trash, were also on point, All were polite and professional. I am happy to recommend them. -
They are very professional. They clean up every bit of their leaves whatever. You’re not left with a mess in your yard. They’re very prompt. They were here the day. They said they would be here and at the time they said they’d be here. We are very satisfied with their work

I had 2 very tall pines they brought down and they were precise in that they were able to spare my fruit trees and garden without damage. They placed the debris where I asked and even raked up the pine straw afterwards. Definitely 5 star. I highly recommend Tri-State.

Great job of removing a large tree from a small backyard. Cudos to the tree climbers. Excellent job of tree removal and stump grinding. The professionalism of all involved was impressive. I would recommend Tri-State to all needing tree removal or trimming.

TEAM 6. The entire team was professional, courteous and efficient. We have a huge magnolia tree that needed pruning. They were knowledgeable and explained everything, before they made the first cut. We felt confident when they started. They also trimmed our palm tree. They cleaned up after and the yard looked great. We are very pleased with the job and are calling them back for the palm trees in our back yard.

Brian Hanson was wonderful, he was so attentive and professional. I’m not sure if I was supposed to be contacting him after the consultation but he continued to give great customer service. The crew that came out was super friendly and professional.

These trees were cut down a week ago. They have been scheduled to be picked up every day. My neighbor used this service and now we’re stuck with this eyesore and hazard.

Salesmen quote a level 5 job, highest cost. When invoice comes in it's a level 3 job. No lowering of price to reflect that. Debre removal within 48 hours it's been 4 days and it is still sitting here. That is also a $240 cost. Ended up costing $1000.00 and hour. Be careful of these guys.

Prompt, professional service right up until debris removal . Cut a tree and placed by road for pick up on Monday last week. Scheduled removal for Wednesday. No show! Reschedule for Thursday. No show! Reschedule for Friday ( yesterday). Today is Saturday ( Bama vs. Georgia) and the tree is still sitting by the road for pick up. Keep in mind, I paid for them to remove the tree! Should have been included in the service! Would not recommend this company!!!

Gary and his team from Tri State Tree Service came by this morning to remove a tree threatening to fall over on the house and them boys went to work on it. Excellent job. They even saved 2 baby squirrels and 2 bird eggs nested in the tree. Y'all are awesome for that one alone. Thank you for your service.

The crew was vey punctual and professional. They trimmed back tree limbs that were hanging over my property. They also had the debris picked up within 48 hrs.

I had Tri-State Tree Service trim 4 palm trees and take down 2 pine trees and a magnolia. They were quick to get someone out to get an estimate and perform the work. However, debris removal is another story. You are told that they will pick up the debris within 1 to 3 days. Well, it's day 10 and I still have debris from three 15 - 20 trees sitting in my driveway. Three days after they took down my trees they showed up to grind the stumps. They couldn't because the debris is piled on top of the stumps. Also, late on day 3 they came by with a nearly full truck to pick up the debris, but were only able to clean up the palm tree trimmings. The driver said he would be back the next day to pick up the rest. It's now 10 later and nobody has shown up. I've made repeated calls and spoke with customer service regarding pickup. Here's how it went:
Tues 5/24 @ 8:13 am - was told it would be Wed or Thurs. Nobody showed. We did have bad storms those two days and I can understand them not showing up.
Fri 5/27 @ 10:30 am - informed someone will be out today to pick up debris.
Fri 5/27 @ 4:27 pm - called to find out if someone is going to pick up as indicated from the 10:30 call. Customer service contacted the driver to find out where they were in regards to picking up my debris. Apparently, the driver told her that they picked it up. Not true because I still have a huge pile of debris. Customer service told me that they are going to send them back out either tonight or Saturday.
It is Saturday afternoon and still a no show. It's Memorial Day weekend and I'll be surprised if I see someone.
Rest assured I'll be calling again on Tuesday if nobody shows up. I'll continue to update this post until the work is complete so others can get an idea of the real timeline of their work.
UPDATE: Sunday May 29 - As expected, nobody showed up yesterday.
UPDATE: Tuesday May 31 - Finally picked up debris this morning
UPDATE: Friday, June 3 - Finish job with stump grinding -
The crew that cut down the tree were very kind and did a good job. Although parts of the fence were broken during the process, they did come back with new lumber and fixed the fence. The pickup/removal started way too early (3:50a) disturbing the neighbors. A large portion of the trunk remains to be cut up and removed.

The service came to trim two trees 3 hours earlier than they had communicated they would arrive. The trimming was pricey at $950, so we had declined to have them take the branches away for an additional $250, planning to contact our trash/yard waste disposal service to pick them up.
Evidently when the service isn't going to get paid to take the branches away, they leave them in a pile in the middle of your yard - which is what they did to us. It seems reasonable that they would know to leave them by the road for pickup, especially when there was a small pile of branches in the pickup spot already.
We weren't home to direct them where to place the trimmings because they arrived so much earlier than they said they would. It took several calls to Tri-State to get them to come move the pile from the middle of our yard, and they now say they will come in another 3 days.
Very disappointed with the level of customer service. We will not be using Tri-State again, or recommending them to anyone. -
Tri State had done a few jobs for us and each was fairly priced with great service. They did exactly want was promised!
