Reviews of local pros in Pompano Beach, Florida

Sherlock Tree company removed a diseased Foxtail Palm from our residence. They were very professional and did an excellent job of removing the tree and grinding the stump. They not only have the expertise but also the best equipment to do the job right. I would highly recommend them. It was a hassle free experience. I dealt with Dennis who was a pleasure to deal with.

Our business is to perform maintenance on overhead utility lines and in some cases emergency restorations. Sherlock response to our requests is always fast and done in a professional manor.
No need to search for any other contractors as Sherlock is a complete package for our business needs and our residential needs as well.

Sherlock provided the best price by far. They showed up within a few days after the quote and finished the same day. They cleaned up and took all the debris with them - none left on the side of the road like other tree servicers do. Good job.

The crew showed up on the day scheduled to trim one extremely large tree in the backyard and one large tree in the front yard. Even though it was difficult for them to access the tree in the back yard because of our fence, they did an amazing job trimming and shaping the tree. The tree in the front yard looked better than ever when they were finished. They worked several hours and did a thorough job cleaning up and removing all trimmings. We've used them several times before and have never been disappointed.

Sherlock Tree Company has provided our tree service for more than 30 years. The service is dependable. The work quality is fine. I am delighted with the appearance of the many trees on our property.

I can't rate the effectiveness of the work because it'll take time for the tree recovery, but I can say Sherlock Tree Company has responded to all of my inquiries, showed up when they said and did what they said they would do. They were professional and honest about what they would be doing. The quoted price was very fair.

Sherlock has been trimming the black olive tree in my front yard every two years for thirty plus years. The old tree survived Hurricanes Andrew and Wilma and continue to thrive today. Watching the team trim the tree is like a watching a precision drill team . . . fun to watch the coordination and efficiency of the process. Professional all the way around from estimate, to scheduling, to the on-site trimming of the tree.

Both personnally and in my businesses, I have relied on Sherlock Tree Company for many, many years They have never disappointed. They arrive when they said, there work is outstanding, they leave the property amazingly clean, and their prices are quite reasonable for the work performed. Most importantly, the owner, Jonathan Wolfson is a certified arborist and know how to best take care of your trees. I highly recommend Sherlock Tree Company

If you want a bunch of jerks to bang at your door and ring your doorbell despite a sign NOT to do so, these are your guys. One of my pets broke a tooth racing up the stairs in panic.

I have five large oaks which we planted over forty years ago. Sherlock’s arborist team is very experienced in proper trimming and reducing. They maintain several other trees on our property, and they are all very professionally trimmed.
I’m all happy to refer Sherlock Tree Co.

I used Sherlock to professionally prune back my Japanese Blueberry trees which I had neglected for a few years. They did a great job, under the watchful eye of an arborist, pruning them back so that they will grow back in nice and lush. All debris was promptly removed and there was nothing left for me to clean-up. I would highly recommend this business and will be using them for future work.

I am a Property Manager, and have worked with Sherlock Trees for years. They are very professional, and the crew does a great job and the pricing is fair (they never have to come back to re-do a job). The Associations are always happy! Great company, and I recommened them.

Sherlock Tree has been doing our tree trimming, pruning for the past 5 years. Excellent job every time. Sherlock Tree is the only one we call for our business at Burlington Self Storage. We highly recommend this company.

I've worked with Dennis Forgione with Sherlock Tree Trimming, who has overseen hardwood
trimming services at my HOA for the last three years and does a fantastic job with communication, crew performance, and ensuring all contractual obligations are followed. I look forward to continued service with Sherlock Tree trimming. 10/10.

Have been using Sherlock Tree for 20 years. The company trains their employees and they are very knowledgeable about your project when they arrive. They are careful and respectful of your property and do a wonderful job with the final clean up.

My email request for an estimate was responded to right away. In the next week an arborist came to my home and I received several helpful plant recommendations on the spot. I don’t usually write reviews but I had to write this one. It would be amazing if all businesses provided this level of service. It is unusual. I will always call Sherlock Tree in the future.

Sherlock Tree was hired to remove several trees after providing an estimate. The community contracted them and they started the work. They decided in the final stages that the estimate did not include complete removal and took their equipment and left a large tree stump. Upon several calls to the company (yes the receptionist is very nice and polite and promises that she will pass on the message) there has been no call back. I am not sure how a company stays in business this long with this type of behavior. Definitely not recommended.

I have 3 big trees that I get trimmed for hurricane season every other year. Never have they been done so professionally. The Sherlock crew showed up with a seven man
crew and 2 bucket trucks. The trees were crowned and interior cleaned and trimmed in about 2 hours. They hauled all debris away and raked my yard. This team knew exactly what they were doing. I highly recommend them for your tree needs. I even learned some things from talking to the arborist on the crew.
Knowledgeable, professional, and good value for the money. I'll definitely have them back.

Great pricing, professional crew. Very clean and will use again. We have been using this company for over 10 years.

Two huge Black Olive trees in need of cutting back for the hurricane season. They did a great job and the price was right! Thanks again! B&B

I gave Sherlock Tree a chance to fix what they broke with close to 10 phone calls and false promises nearly 2 months later. On March 16 they were cutting down landscape on a commercial business behind my property. I was outside picking up all the branches on my side they left behind as they were cutting. Eventually a tree branch fell on my fence and instead of lifting the branch their employee tried to pull it, bending and breaking my fence. I told them on the spot, only to be called a lair and then to get a sarcastic, “how about we replace and fix your entire fence.” To which I mentioned just fix what you broke. Overall unprofessional to not take responsibility and fix what they did even when they eventually promised to take care of it. I’m not even a customer so be cautious when deciding to work with them.
