I have fired my previous company (ECLC) and went with G&G. Let me first say, this is how a company should be run. Starting with Marcia in the office! Shes great! Knowledgable, professional!
Today was my first visit and what a great job this crew did! Again very professional and hard working! Everything looks great. The previous company let my property a mess! G and G got it all back in order. Great company, easily identified vehicles and employees withcompany shirts! How a company should be run! Thank you! Looking forward to a great relationship.

I Had a concern and emailed Marcia at G and G and promptly received a reply from Gabriel. He graciously offered to address the concern free of charge! This company is special and its hard to find such well run companies these days! Thank you again Gabriel! Keep up the excellent work!

Inconsistent in lawn care.
Poor communication

My First & last time using this company :
When I initially called to make my appointment I asked for ONE lawn mow, hedge trim, and leaf blow.

But was signed up for the month (which only ended up being 2 services) which costed 140$

I was not asked to confirm if I wanted just one , but instead receptionist signed me up for what she wanted .
I was also told men would be on my lawn for 1hr, but that was not the case

Then, there was no window for a time I could expect for service only a date.

I was told I was signed up for the month every Tuesday, but ended up finding out it was only 2x

First mow was great since I had been away from home for a month, (except for the fact that my fern was cut).
They mowed some invasive grass bulbs down, and got the lawn low, which was nice
2nd mow , was not as low and had pieces still sticking up from lawn. Did not spend as much care and time on lawn today

I have been using G&G for about 6 years now, and am still as happy as a clam! The inside and outside folks are all so efficient, professional, and friendly. I have the best looking lawn in the neighborhood, rivaled only by my next door neighbors, who also use G&G. I highly recommend them!

G&G Garden and Lawn care have been amazing. They are fairly price, very communicative and prompt. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Bradenton, FL area.

DO NOT USE FOR VACATION HOMES!

I was a customer for several years with G&G. Since I do not live in the area, I need to trust and rely on the companies that I hire.

When I first started with G&G, they used to take photos and send them to me so I could see what the yard looked like. I appreciated that. It definitely helped me feel confident in the service I was receiving. After about 4 months, the gal at G&G asked if it would be okay for them to no longer take photos. I agreed. Perhaps, that is where I went wrong.

Over the last year and a half, I noticed that the lawn was not being cared for like it used to be. The weeds would be more prevalent or the grass was longer than it should have been. However, this year has been unacceptable. I pay over $200 a month for them to: spray and remove the weeds, cut the lawn, and trim the bushes. I have had to contact the company several times to have them come back and redo my yard.

Unfortunately, today was the last straw. G&G came out and used the blower. They were at my house for less than 5 minutes and missed the entire rock and shell areas. I called to find out if they were going to come back to finish the yard. The customer representative informed me that they were done. I asked for her to send them back over to fix the yard. She went on to say that it most likely wasn't going to happen because they were trying to get done with their day as they have the rest of the week off.

When I expressed my frustration, and asked for a discount, the company front office girl became combative and showed zero empathy. In fact, she threatened to charge me a cancelation fee for not giving them a month's notice canceling. The irony is, I wouldn't cancel if they would do their part and perform the services I am paying for.

I have attached a few photos to show as examples for how the yard was left earlier this year as well as today after G&G was at my house. By the way, the bush is overgrown and the trees need to be trimmed.

I wouldn't trust this company unless I lived in the area but even then, what kind of company gets combative at a customer when they clearly aren't doing their part.

Driver of the f250/350 with the trailer that has thousands of dollars in company money needs to calm down, that tread ain’t going anywhere. Between the truck and what’s on that trailer you’d figure they’d train their drivers better. Cutting over 3 lanes To get all the way into the left lane and if it wasn’t for me seeing you and hearing the other drivers horns you would have clipped my front end with that trailer. I hit the brakes as you were in my lane, missing me by what had to be an inch. This was on 75 between 7:30 & 7:40am. I get it, people get in a hurry, but that’s a fair amount of company assets that this gentleman is playing with.

Completely ignored my request for a quote on their premier service. Not responsive to email or phone.

The owners are lovely and they remedied issues that I had.

These guy are terrible - just ask them to quit spraying car with dirt and rocks from blower and the ignored me.

Siesta Town House

A+ design services, my front yard has made me an envy of the neighbors. Saved my oak from all the overgrowth of the Spanish moss. I have happily recommended them to my neighbors.

I used Greenscapes to update my landscape. I walked the property and outlined what I would like. I was specific in "color" in my front yard, and similar foliage on the side yard for coverage. I got green plants without any color. I was told that they had to mature. All summer, still no color. Nadda! I wanted to attract butterflies, humming birds etc.... My side yard was left bare where I wanted similar low cost palm coverage. They told me they could charge more for more planting there. What they did plant was not simple low cost palm coverage I wanted. One plant is half dead due to transplanting. They did not replace it when evaluated. 25% of the Perennials out front did not take at all. They were not replaced. The bougainvillea plant I wanted was a fraction of the size I wanted. It is not even visible over the hedge. They also broke one of my decorative pots and left it in the brush. I found it and they did say I could deduct the price from the job. Would have been nice if they had come clean about that and not have me find it that way. All in all, very disappointed. They were very expensive, and I did not receive what I asked for. I paid bill in full, but certainly under protest.

I own an office building in downtown Sarasota. We used the same lawn service for about 10 years and did not realize that the landscape looked worse and worse each year. We hired Greenscape Services to fix our sprinkler system, refresh our landscaping and take over maintenance. I am very happy with the results. I was surprised how much time they spent freshening up the landscaping. They added new plants, they took out plants that had grown like weeds on the property that we never planted (that the other service just let grow) and they added new borders and mulch. The cost was very reasonable and I am very satisfied with the services that I received. They are professional and know what they are doing.

I just recently moved and contacted Greenscapes along with two other companies to obtain an estimate. I was very impressed with Greenscapes throughout the entire process - beginning with the phone call to make an appointment to meeting with someone on my property to evaluate it and give me an estimate. They are very professional and knowledgeable and definitely stand out compared to the other companies.

Greenscapes Landscaping has done wonders for my yard. They are restoring it to what it was when I bought the home, since a national brand company did not do it justice. Greenscapes was very honest with me on the steps that would be taken to restore my yard. Every employee I have spoken to in the company has been very polite, knowledgeable about lawn care/maintenance, and guided me in the proper direction. This is a company I trust and recommend to others.

Our neighborhood sustained a great deal of damage from the Hurricane Ian with metal, downed trees, glass and debris throughout. A team of workers came in to do our routine mowing, trimming, and pruning. They did an amazing job! They mowed around piles of trees, stacks of styrofoam insulation, and piles of metal. They moved and picked up yard waste, trimming bushes and making our neighborhood look 1000 times cleaner, neater and well groomed. Their hard work lifted the spirits of our residents. We can not say enough about what a fantastic team and company this is. Highly recommend them!
