Chad at Britton Family Tree Services is the real deal.
If you are a Boomer, you will most likely remember what it was like to have a neighbor or a friend of a friend who you could call or who knew someone who could do a job for you. Old school, I like to call it.
Chad is this guy. While only in his 40s, he is a family man who does what he says he will do, and with pride and joy. He arrives on time, comes out for a free estimate, and gets the work done in a timely way, all the while with a smile on his face and work habits that will leave you feeling great about hiring him for the job.
He is the guy who you want to come back again and again because you can trust him, his heart and his work ethic and good sense about the project at hand.
Oh, and he had his son helping the day he came. And what a polite young man he was.
He will do the job right and you will be so glad you picked him for your projects!
If I could give more than 5 stars I would, but I will just say this... You will feel good with your end result, and for having met this man. He's that kind of guy!

Multiple terrible experiences with Barker Air Conditioning and Heating. Do not use them.

Fast, efficient, and extremely pleasant to work with. I was happy with the entire experience including the charges.

They were prompt to resolve our issue on a after hours weekend job. Professional and courteous staff that stands behind there service agreement.

The techs at Barker are wonderful, however the receptionist is RUDE. Super unprofessional as she is your first touch point with the business.

Inability to accurately identify an issue. Tech sent out multiple times to solve an issue without a proper solution. It is 91 degrees inside the house.

My AC went out yesterday, and have family from the UK here, called them 830 this morning, they were here a lil before 1130, and out in 10, AC is pumping great!! great service! thank Jason !

Very prompt response when contacted. Arrived at 8 in the evening with the first sign of a problem. The technicians were are very polite and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend this company to anyone in the Sebastian area.

I called Barker because my a/c system stopped working. I called at 4 pm and they said they would be there between 5 and 7 pm that evening. They arrived at 4.55 pm and it was all fixed straight away AND they did my 6 month service at the same time....for no charge - part of my maintenance agreement! Very impressive...

Barker Air has been there whenever I have needed them (and that has not been often). I have an annual contract with them and I wouldn't be without it. I have used them for almost 20 years since I moved to Sebastian. Barker Air came to our rescue when I first moved here and the air conditioning company (I will not name) who installed the new air conditioner wouldn't replace the motor that was burned out. We had never turned the air conditioner on for the first 5 months that we lived in our newly built home. It was a mild year. The first time we turned it on it wouldn't work and the company that installed the air conditioner told us that we had burned the motor out and therefore we would need to pay to have it replaced. They would not believe that the air conditioner had not been turned on and said that it was our fault that it had gone bad. So we called Barker Air and have used them ever since and we are very pleased with their service and professionalism and quick response. Thank you Barker Air and Mark Matakatis (if you are still there).

Highly recommend this company, my a/c quit working so I left a message via internet and they called me right away and came out that morning while I was at work. My son was home and the a/c guy showed him what was wrong and fixed it in a matter of minutes. The price was very reasonable. Needless to say I’ll will be using them again! Love this company!

Ryan the Tech on last Saturday for my broken pool heater, came on time and was professional and courteous and able to troubleshoot my older pool heater quickly and had it going again within 35 minutes. Excellent job. Asset to the company I would say and based on this experience I would use them again.

I received the best price from Barker on replacement of my old AC unit with a new Trane system. The installation and post-install follow-up was quickly and professionally done! I Highly recommended Barker for all of your cooling and heating needs!!
