Had a small job of replacing 2 light fixtures, electrician was at my house for less than 1-1/2 hours and some of that time included their “free” home electrical inspection. Billed almost 500 for the job. After much conversation they came down to 400. How is this ok? I’m glad you have very good reviews, I don’t believe I am a hard person to please but I feel taken advantage of. Will not recommend your company.

Kevin, Alex and Cameron provided stellar service. Very thorough and thought outside the box to electrify our outdoor kitchen and pergola by hiding and tucking away all wires, boxes etc. The job was fairly priced and the value to have it done right the first time is soooo with it. Special call out to Kevin who responded positively every time I threw him a curve ball. Thank you so much.

Jeff Guintoli the technician who made a repair and install at my house yesterday was curiosity, professional and prompt.
He listened to my questions and comments and provided appropriate feedback.
I would recommend him if you need electrical service work done.

KC Jones is very professional, very attentive, very knowledgeable technician, and also very easy to talk to. He came the very next day after I called for service (other places would have my wait for 2+ weeks) and installed four recessed lights and also a hall light in our place. We were very impressed with his work. That’s why I called specifically for him this time for a similar job. I would recommend KC Jones to anyone who wants to have a great job done in no time. I give him 10 stars out of 5!

We were having issues with our breaker that kept tripping. And we didn’t know what the issue was my husband tried a variety of different things and I found Don Green electric online and saw the fantastic reviews and wanted to go with them! They sent Jim M. And he was awesome!!! He explained everything perfectly and now everything is fixed! If we were to ever have any issues with this problem again or any other electrical problems in the house we would definitely think to call Don Green Electric and request Jim!!!

My first time using Don Green Electrical to check and replace a weak breaker and they also did a panel diagnostic. They are very prompt and professional. We needed an outlet to be changed to always hot instead of connected to the switch the fan was connected to. I had a timing issue as I was setting up a home office and they were able to fit me in. Nick did a great job! I had a ceiling fan issue resolved and a new switch for an LED light installed. Nick was on time, professional and was willing to answer my questions along the way. Would definitely recommend.

Only rave reviews for Jeff Guintoli! We thought we needed a new switch in a small bathroom but there was a problem with the wires and ballast. He switched the fixture from a florescent to a LED. He was very professional and I have complete confidence in his work. Jeff explained everything to me beforehand. Will definitely use him/Emerald Home Services again.

I used Emerald Home Services for some extensive electrical work on my home here in Conquistador. Both Jeff and KC are excellent electrical technicians. You can tell they both love their jobs and they work well together. I was very happy with their work and highly recommend them to anyone that wants electrical work done by an expert contract company.

Jim Mera is, by far, the best electrician!!! He arrived on time and followed me around to assess the issues and quickly came to a conclusion on what needed to be done. He was courteous, professional and honest. Major repairs are needed and he still needs to complete them but we were very impressed with this company! By the way, the receptionist was a sweetheart and scheduled service as soon as she could when we told her the situation. Very personable and a breath of fresh air these days when you need a helping hand and a sympathetic ear!

Needed some plugs added with their own breakers Emerald home services sent technician out very next morning to give quote price was fair, I agreed to the price and work and their tech Kevin completed the job right on the spot he was fast efficient and friendly. The job came out perfectly, he even cleaned up any excess mess made from cutting into drywall, I would highly recommend and definitely will be using them again !!!

Nick is the best representative for your company. He took the time to explain what issues he found, how to correct and the best way to eliminate future problems. He has a great knowledge of electrical issues and perfect personality for working with customers. Will make sure we always request Nick for all our electrical needs. He is great!

This is our first and last experience with Emerald Home Services.

We called to have a bedroom fan installed in the hopes it would be less expensive than our local electrician. We were scheduled for a Friday afternoon installation and then customer service called to reschedule when the technician was not available due to complications at another job. Customer service was accommodating and removed the $89 service fee for our inconvenience. Not a great start, but a nice gesture that was certainly appreciated.

Fast forward to Monday when the technician Jeff arrives to install the fan. The installation was originally quoted at $185, but the total was $370. Jeff had to complete diagnostic work on the outlet which cost $119 and then charged $67 to program a fan remote, that per the manufacture was preprogrammed. If the $89 service fee was not waived, we would have paid $460 for the installation of a ceiling fan that wobbles on high speed.

While Jeff was here, my wife also requested he provide a quote to replace a light in the attic after I knocked out the light bulb getting Christmas decorations. The wiring was unharmed, but needed a new fixture and light bulb. Jeff recommended a fluorescent light kit quoted at $340 with installation.

Wait…there’s more. Jeff also recommended we install a complete home surge protector for $785 and then noticed our landscape lights were on during the day and quickly offered his services for that as well. Keep in mind, the light sensor was actually facing the wrong direction which caused the lights to come on, but I’m sure a $119 diagnostic fee could have solved that problem too.

Finally, I can’t help but think we were being taking advantage of while I was at work and my wife was doing her best to navigate the situation…lesson learned.

Jeff was great! I really appreciate that he gave me three options to improve the electrics for our home. The house and the owners are growing old together and we all need maintenance.
