Had a leak for over 2 years that others tried to fix and actually caused more bad than good. Mike came in and solved the issue, corrected they're damage and was totally trustworthy during the entire process. After all this time I now have a leak free pool and I'm saving a fortune in water bills and chemicals. The cost to repair was far less than I had expected and now I wish I used Mike 2 years ago. I leaned of Sunrise leak detection from my uncle. Called and spoke with Kris who was a pleasure,very professional, very friendly and very informative. She scheduled an appointment for two days later and told me Mike would call about 30 min before he was in route. Sure enough Mike called 30 min ahead and arrived right on time. Mike was also super friendly and professional, he walked me through exactly what he intended on doing and what I can expect. He had all the right equipment, found my leak and showed me where it was to see for myself. I was very nervous about hiring a company who will send a guy out who likely works on commission to diagnose the issue and try to oversell me on a big job that was not really needed (happens all the time). Personally I find some of the best restaurants are when the owner is the chef. Mike is the owner and the chef, he takes pride in his work, his name and his reputation. Unfortunately there are not many honest contractors out there these days, my wife and I are very happy to have found one and that's Mike with Sunshine Leak Detection. Couldn't be happier. Excellent job, service and people from the first call to the end of the repair.

Our pool was losing 3/4 inch of water / day. We called one of the big brand names in leak detection service and they found nothing. Only came once, spent a couple of hours and were positive our pool was not leaking. We have called them a few months later and they wanted to charge $300 to come again. So we did some research and found Sunrise Leak Detection Services. I understand that Mike has been in the business for over 30 years. He has seen everything and knows everything about pool leaks. He is incredibly experienced, methodical and patient in his approach. He gave us the impression he takes a difficult to find leak as a personal challenge. He came to our home four times as he wanted to work with different water levels. He surely found not only one but seven different small leaking points. Mike was also honest to say that we should work with a pool contractor instead of relying on patching as a long term solution. In addition to his experience and skill Mike was a pleasure to work with. Always very patient, respectful, positive, taking the time to explain his work, answering questions and pro-actively communicating. Having pool leaks can be very frustrating. I don't have enough words to praise Mike for the work he did at our home.

I called Sunrise because they had very good reviews and I had an unsatisfactory experience with one of the larger leak detection companies in the area who could not find the leak. Mike is a very genuine and honest man who is very good at what he does. He solved my leak problem and I could not be happier.

Mike came out because we suspected a leak in our pool. This company is amazing. I live out of state and have a vacation home in Stuart Fl. We bought a house and renovated the entire place. Once finished, we realized the pool and spa were not holding water. I was super worried this was going to be a major problem and being out of state, it would be worse. I was referred to Mike, the owner. Mike came out and did a thorough inspection of our pool and spa. He called me and reviewed everything and gave me options on both short and long term repairs. I was so impressed with Mike's honesty that we opted for the entire permanent repair. Mike's explained everything and gave a breakdown of costs. His fee was extremely fair. They came out promptly when the said they would and finished the job in the time they said at the estimated price. Mike also repaired some incorrect plumbing at no charge! This company is amazing and they deserve all 5 stars. We were having issues with our pool not retaining water my pool cleaning man referred me to Mike and said he’s really good and he’ll find where the leak is so with a lot of skepticism because I’ve been scammed before dealing with my pool I made the call. Well, I’m so happy I did I scheduled my appointment and although he arrived a little after the time I did received a courtesy call letting me know he would be arriving a little later than my scheduled time but he arrived earlier which was fine with me. Mike is very friendly and professional. He explained what he would be doing and got to work. Mike did a thorough inspection of our pool and gave a step by step description of what he was doing and what he found or didn’t find. Mike explained where the leak was and fixed it. It has been about 3 or 4 weeks since he came out and the pool hasn’t leaked. Mike called the day after the repair and then we spoke a few days later I like and appreciated the follow up. In my opinion Mike is honest and his fee was very fair. I highly recommend Mike and Sunrise Leak Detection.
