Honestly, the best AC company ever! Jamie was the most attentive technician I have ever had. So thorough and professional. Sometimes technicians just rush and say yeah - all ok. But he was incredibly detailed and I feel really well taken care of. They are a wonderful company.

We chose Billfish AC in Stuart to install a brand-new AC system for our home in Palm City and couldn’t be more pleased. We’d received quotes from two other local companies but chose them based on their expertise and proposal. We initially met their service tech Lewis who was very knowledgeable and professional; and he kept in touch with us. He gave us several recommendations on the system and made suggestions to improve some faulty ducts to improve air flow, which had been a problem in the past with our home; and a quote on adding two return air ducts to bring us up to code. On the day of installation, Faustino and his team did an impressive job and left the home spotless. And they finished the new system install and duct improvements in just under 7 hours. That evening we were amazed with the quiet and overall improvement to comfort, which had been missing with our old system. Everyone we met, in person and on the phone (they actually have helpful people that answer the phone), were a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Billfish AC.

Erik was great, he was prompt, efficient and diagniased the issues with my mother's A/C unit immediately. Samantha in the office was courteous, kind and very helpful. Even though it was the day before Thanksgiving, she booked our appointment for that afternoon and got us on their scheudle. I was highly impressed by this outfit. I love great service and competent people and Billfish Air Conditioning has it all.

I am happy to share my positive experience with Billfish AC. I live in a community and several of my neighbors recently replaced their AC UNITS. I was lucky to benefit from their experiences, but still decided to have two additional companies look at the system and cost it out. I found the Billfish sales associate Lewis to be transparent with the Billfish proposal.
They were one of three companies that bid on replacing my AC and they were very competitive most importantly familiar with how these manufactured stilt houses are erected. The installers were prompt, polite, and happy to answer my questions about the new unit. I am happy with my decision to have Billfish install the new system. -
Office communications and professional genuinity was greatly appreciated.
Technician was punctual and informative as well.
Five stars could've been given, but pricing on parts is always ridiculous in this economy..
I realize running a competitive business is based upon peer groups, but research allows a customer to find the parts inflation. -
Scheduled a maintenance service plan with them and took over a month and a half to be able to schedule my service. My AC went out a week before my appointment and they wanted to charge me to come out after they had charged me a month and a half prior to a service that hadn’t yet been completed. I asked them to cancel my appointment and they waited three days to cancel and let me know at 4:54pm before a long holiday weekend. Now I have to wait out the long weekend to contact another company to schedule service. Petty move and very unprofessional. Don’t use them.

They came out and said I needed a new compressor. They said they would have a quote for me in the morning. I never received a call back from them. I called them on a Monday morning and said I was seen by a service tech on Friday and I was supposed to get a call back and a quote from them. The lady said she’s busy dealing with other clients and that Im on a list of call backs. She said she had 40 other people to call back first and said I would receive a call later that day. I never did get a callback. They left me, my wife and 3 kids with no ac. For over 4 days. Never called me, never sent me a quote. 2-3 months later they are calling me, texting me and sending me emails saying they are available to give me a discount on the estimate for the repair they have on file. Don’t use these people, they have bad business practices and could care less about your needs.

Coming here a year later to change my review from Great...to bad. I had an emergency call on a Sunday almost exactly 1 year ago. Decent kid came out, diagnosed it, needed a new capacitor, new hard start - all worked. Well here I am a year later back to the same problem. After getting torn a new hole for 900 dollars to have a capacitor changed out and 40 mins worth of work from Billfish, I decided "I am going to buy a home warranty so I dont get taken advantage of like that again." So, called my Home Warranty and they sent someone out. The first thing he said when he opened my condenser unit was "Who the hell worked on your unit last?" I said "Billfish AC..." He said "dude, Why do you only have one capacitor? This system needs to separate capacitors!" I said "Idk, originally there was 2 capacitors, but the guy from Billfish said I only need one." He said "Hes half right, but he didnt even wire it correctly and theres straight up cut wire here from the fan!" Which lines up with why the tech from Billfish said "I found a broken wire in your system" Which btw...he cut on accident. I watch him cut a bunch of wires and he accidentally cut it. He didn't know I was staring right at him when he did it and tried to play it like he "found it like that". Then he opens my unit, looks at my condenser, looks at the hard start and says to me "He also installed the wrong size hard start in here, thats why its broken again a year later!" So here I am, a year later, with a non-functioning AC condenser again. Luckily, Sears Home warranty sent the right man for the right job (unlike Billfish did), put in the CORRECT capacitors. Put in the CORRECT hard start, and my AC is functioning better than it was than after Billfish worked on it.
It seems the tech that came out from Billfish didn't know what he was doing, made a mistake and didn't own up to it, tried getting in and out as fast as he could by putting in a Dual Run Capacitor when I needed 2 separate capacitors, putting in the wrong hard start, completely cut corners, rushed the job, gave me the most outrageous HVAC bill I have seen in my entire life. Just don't recommend these guys. Get a home warranty. It's worth it.
