At first, it was easy to book appointment online. Although, come the day of the appointment, I had to call twice to find out if they were coming. First call, they were not sure and dispatch would call me. 4 hours later, no call. So I called again, I was informed we are on schedule and I would receive a text. I received a text 30 minutes before the got to the house. I was quoted $483.00 to pump. The technician said them I would be charged a dig fee. Then they informed me they had to pressure clean. Total cost $804. Very deceiving. Not great customer service. Would not use again.

Awesome service. Quick response and super knowledgeable techs. Brent and Richard killed it.

We purchased a home originally build in 1974. After a remodeling job, my husband (a custom home builder in Massachusetts for over 45 years) decided to have the septic pumped. It had not been touched in decades. Cooker’s came highly recommended and came out and promptly took care of the system. They did everything they said they would and gave us a very accurate estimate. They were great to work with and extremely reliable. Byron Jackson, the technician, was great. We highly recommend them!

Absolutely terrible service. Called on Monday 3/3/25 for a routine septic pumping of 2 separate systems on the property (Not backing up, just routine pumping of septic to prevent issues) Spoke to Lexi over the phone and she booked my appointment and even added in the notes that I wanted to be home for the service and I was requesting whatever day had a morning appointment. She booked my appointment for Wednesday am and said they would confirm the appointment the night before which they did. Wednesday morning came and truck showed up at 9am. I walked out front to speak with the driver, Kerly, and he was nice enough to tell me the office had instructed him to leave my home and go somewhere else even though he didn't do anything there. (Making the customer feel that someone is more important and wasting their time makes for an awful customer experience) Kerly told me that another driver would come over to pump my septic and should be arriving soon. 3 hours later I called the office and they told me that I was in pending status and not scheduled so he didn't know what time I would be taken care of. Being that I waited home from work all morning I rescheduled it for Monday 3/10 for another morning appointment. They did give me $75 off to reschedule due the the inconvenience. Monday morning came and went without any text / email message confirming I had any appointment. I called again around noon and was told once again there were errors and she would reach out requesting answers. I cancelled my appointment and have been recommended by a neighbor to use another company which I will. Cooke's used to be a great company, however I see that because of their growth they have changed. I will no longer be using or recommending them. Save your time, use another company!

2 years ago we called cooks out to pump our tank. During the visit the gentleman said that we needed a new pump. Conveniently their supplier was closed and we were going to have to wait up to 2 weeks to receive a pump. The gentleman said that he can go to Home Depot and buy one from them and it will be under warranty but it will be more expensive if we went this route. Being an emergency and 2 units hooked up to the septic we had to take that offer. Not even 6 months later the bubbling started in our toilet, we can’t do laundry on days it rains. We didn’t find out til a month ago that the pump flipped the breaker causing it not to work. The pump is JUNK and the wiring wasn’t done correctly thus causing the breaker to flip. That’s what the new company has told us. Anyway, when we called cooks to ask them to come out explaining our situation they said it would take a few days, once we called them to ask about the warranty they said they would call us back. This is UNACCEPTABLE professional behavior! It has been 2 weeks and we still have not received a call back. We ended up having to call another company because we have children in both units and running water/ septic is a NECESSITY. Now we have to replace another pump and have it pumped for the 3rd time this month. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY unless you want to waste thousands of dollars.

Kerly was fantastic. He came for a cleaning but my tank needed pumping and he did that too!

Kerly Meus came to my place and took care of my problem with the septic. I am very pleased with his amazing job! He explained everything what he was doing. I knew right away that I am in good hands. He is a kind and conscientios person. I recommend him to everyone. Cook's Company is fortunate to have technicians like Kerly. God bless.

Cooke’s did a professional and prompt job addressing my plumbing needs. We had one other company bail twice and have poor communication before we found Cooke’s. They show up on time, are reasonable and have great, knowledgeable techs like Mario G. who serviced our home. 5 stars

After a no-show for two days of a scheduled septic service by Du-all septic and plumbing and rude customer service by Will the manager and subsequent hang up on me, Cooke’s came out within one hour of my call and did what they could not (show up for a job) Thumbs up to Cooke’s customer service team, and Mario, the tech who came out and took care of a highly stressful and unnecessary situation. Thank you to all at Cooke’s.

Kevin was great. Septic tank was pumped out and he made some recommendations to simplify the process in the future. No sales pitch, just matter of fact…no pressure to add on additional services.

So last night while I was using my bathroom, I was hearing a small leak. The first thing I do decided to call the plumbers. They got back to us immediately that same night after 5 o’clock. Told us they’d be able to come out tomorrow and send someone out. Byron from Cooke’s plumbing Help us this morning with our leak in the wall and attaching a new sink in the garage. We are really grateful and appreciated. Very , He enjoyed our company of our Chihuahua. And be happy to have them again thanks for coming out. - marian

The employee was great, but I didn’t appreciate getting billed for a different amount than what I signed for when he left on Friday.

This company used to be good but the last 2 times I used them, they did such an incomplete job that I had sewage backup in the house TWICE in the same day. This is the 3rd time now. I paid over $1000 for pump out and drain cleaning because they didn't do the whole job during their first visit (so they could charge an additional emergency call- 2 in the same day). I asked for pics of what was "clogging the drain" but didn't get any. Now, 2 months later, it's backed up again (third time) and they want another $1000+... Do yourself a favor, call someone else!
Also, customer service is a runaround. They say a "branch manager" will call you back, but no one ever does. They can't provide a "branch manager's" name or contact info for you to call directly. If you insist on speaking to one, they put you on eternal hold until you give up and hang up or your battery dies.

Kevin did an exceptional job, walked me through explained each detail of his work, is very professional and hospitable. I’d hire him any day to do this work.

Today July 12 Septic Cookes told me I have lost my guarantee because after several call they they told me that their manager would call and they never called. They dirty water came out of the toilets and I had to call another company so they can pump the septic because we were having to shower outside because the tank was full. That company told me that the drain fields are failing and to call the company that installed the septic and drain fields for the guarantee. They sent who installed the septic and they were blaming us for all the issues. The man that came is a lier he told me and my wife that we didn’t have to worry because the septic has a 3 year guarantee. Today they called and they told us that the drain fields had oil in them and that’s a lie . This is the proof of the bad job they did for $12,000. Now we have to hire a contractor to prove that they are lying so that the health department could get involved.
