The company has always been there for me. They have great leadership and their owner has been building (high skill up north tradesman style) since he was 7 years old.

Jonathan did such a wonderful job on my deck! It was round with a large edge that was really not easy to do. I had several people ghost me after seeing it, but Jonathan not only came out and looked at, he had several great ideas on how to make it better and last much longer. He should up on time every day and worked his tail feathers off! Great guy, great company! I really cannot say enough about the workmanship and integrity of him. Went above and beyond on the troublesome edge and came up with some new and creative ideas to make it work with the existing pavers surrounding it. And it looks beautiful - so much better than we had hoped for!

Best contractor I know out there for all your remodeling needs from bathrooms to kitchens and everything in between. Jonathan has been a pleasure to work with. After a tree damaged my detached garage I reached out to several contractors and roofers. Some came out, some of those provided quotes and some never even responded or ghosted me. Jonathan promptly responded to my call and was able to inspect the damage and provide me with a reasonable and timely repair quote. He went above and beyond in helping me with my insurance adjuster and was even able to provide a recommendation for a roofer. He and the roofer were able to work in tandem so that Jonathan and his team could make the structural repairs while the roofers were on site. This ensured the process went smoothly and all work was completed on time and within budget. His prompt response time, willingness to listen to the homeowner and ability to provide advice and options where needed is an invaluable asset to homeowners.

Cannot recommend Jonathan and Capital City Construction enough. We have had a bathroom remodel done and he just finished an outdoor kitchen for us. We had a pipe burst in our office and cause a lot of damage which resulted in our entire office having to be taken down to the studs. Jonathan came highly recommended to us. Jonathan walked us through the process of the rebuild and assisted us with working with the insurance company. When the project started, he continuously communicated throughout the process and made sure we were kept up to date on the process and inspections. He understood the importance of us getting back into our office since we had to temporarily relocate and worked hard to stay on schedule. Our new office is beautiful! He is professional, has excellent communication, knows the industry, has attention to detail, and is an honest person. For years I tried to get a Tallahassee builder to replace my aging deck. Everyone I contacted would never call back or vanish after the first time they talked to me. One worker came out, did some sanding, and never returned to get paid for the little work that he did. Finally, I contacted my wonderful insurance agent who highly recommended Capital City Construction in Tallahassee. This company gets a lot of work from insurance companies because they do exceptional work resulting in very satisfied clients. Jonathan and his crew did exemplary work from the first estimate to the final product. He was able to fit me into his very busy schedule and did an incredible job. My original builder constructed three levels which made a large deck almost unusable. Jonathan gave me incredible ideas for materials and the design of the new deck. His crew stayed on the job for the entire project. They were prompt, reliable and thorough! You can tell what an incredible job they did from the four pictures I included of the final fabulous, extremely usable result. (I included one picture of the disaster they had to remove.)

After discovering a water leak from our living room bar sink, Luke’s team came in and agreed to work with us as we wanted to and planned to salvage our beautiful floor rather than remove it all and start completely over. Consulting with Luke and following his advice, we proceeded, which to some was a dang near impossible plan, and from start to finish took four months. None of us ever lost sight of the plan and now our Brazilian walnut floor is back in place and as beautiful as ever! Luke Van Camp and every one of his workers that entered my house during these four months are professional, talented and top of the line and I highly recommend them! Five ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ stars are not enough!
