Construction Company reviews in Tallahassee, Florida

We are very familiar SOLAS Co and their leadership. We have worked with them in the past on complex foundation projects and marine work, both with successful results. We highly recommend them.

SOLAS is a great construction company to work with. Very knowledgeable in deep foundation and marine infrastructure. Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented from start to finish. Highly recommend for any project requiring a strong and dependable foundation!

Bryan was so helpful giving us an estimate today. Very professional! He even gave us multiple different options to help save us some money! Highly recommended! -Terri

Bryan at JBE Sitework LLC did an amazing Job when it came to sealing my familys fishpond. He came out promptly the next morning to give us his professional opinion on what needed to be done and got back to us with a quote by mid day. By that afternoon he located the material needed to seal the pond and informed us that he could start work the next day. At 8am the next morning 12 trucks were running on the job, he made sure to direct them as to not destroy the grass and landscaping. By the following evening he had all 80 loads of dirt graded and packed evenly around the pond. If you want professional quality work, honest and up front pricing give JBE Sitework LLC a call for all of your site work needs. You will see the difference.

Two decks torn away and built new in less than 48 hours. These are not small decks, these are two story massive decks! One local “Deck company,” quoted me 3 times the amount that Southern Woodlands construction charged. Don’t waste your time with others! Just call Robbie and his folks! Outstanding results!!

I hired this crew for a full pole barn build including grading and concrete work, and I couldn't be more satisfied with how the project turned out. From the first conversation to the final walkthrough, they were responsive and easy to communicate with.

They told me exactly what to expect, stuck to it, and delivered quality work across all three phases of the project. The grading was done right, the concrete looks great, and the pole barn itself is solid and well built.

If you're looking for a contractor you can actually trust to do the job well and treat you fairly, these are your guys. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience with Southern Woodlands! They were fast, clean and did great work. Thanks guys!

I had a wonderful experience with Southern Woodlands Construction! They replaced my fence and they provided excellent customer service and a quality work product! Would highly recommend!

Southern Woodlands Construction is great! Robbie’s work is always outstanding and he provides excellent communication and is always responsive. He has come to our assistance with many, many construction projects over the years - many of which were not under the easiest of circumstances, including a difficult property insurance claim and getting a older home ready to be listed. I would highly recommend Southern Woodlands Construction.

I’ve now used Southern Woodlands Construction several times. I’m a senior woman and there’s sometimes a concern that construction workers might take advantage or lack respect because of being older. I want to say that working with this company, specifically Robbie, was such a positive experience. The work was top notch and I always felt safe and personally cared for. My wishes and opinions were always respected and he often went beyond what was required to make it special for me. It was wonderful working together. I have no hesitation in recommending Southern Woodlands Construction, especially to all of the seniors unsure of whom to trust.

We recently had Southern Woodlands Construction refresh the exterior of our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! We went from a dark, dingy cedar stain to a beautiful white with black gutters that really make it pop. They tackled some long-overdue wood rot repairs and our deck got a beautiful update with a fresh new color as well. We added new gutters, doors, and a privacy fence- all of which were handled seamlessly. Every detail was thoughtfully done, and the quality of work really shows. We highly recommend Southern Woodlands Construction for any remodeling, decking, or fencing projects. Their expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail made this a smooth experience. We’re beyond happy with how everything turned out!

Southern Woodlands Construction installed a beautiful fence around our new pool and yard and did an excellent job. They showed up on time, worked quickly but with high quality and resolved an quick issue with our inspection on the same day I contacted them back. It's nice to have a construction company in Tallahassee that answers the phone, replies to messages, shows up when promises and does quality work at a competitive price.

Southern Woodlands completed an addition, deck, and fence for our home, and we could not be more thrilled with the result. The quality of their work is truly exceptional. Our new spaces have completely transformed the way we live in our house, the addition feels seamless, functional, and beautifully crafted. You genuinely cannot tell where the old house ends and the new work begins.

The team is hardworking and incredibly detail-oriented. Their craftsmanship shows in every part of the project. We’ve loved working with them and are so grateful for the care they put into our home.

Highly recommend Southern Woodlands to anyone looking for outstanding craftsmanship and a team you can trust to bring your ideas to life.

Southern Woodlands Construction did an excellent job building a retaining wall at our house. From the first consultation through the final cleanup, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with.

They took the time to explain the process, answered all of our questions, and made sure the wall was built exactly how we wanted. The craftsmanship is outstanding — the wall is solid, looks great, and has completely transformed our yard.

The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and left the site clean when they were finished. It’s clear they take pride in their work and care about their customers.

We couldn’t be happier with the results and would absolutely recommend Southern Woodlands Construction to anyone looking for high-quality outdoor construction and landscaping work.

We had Southern Woodlands Construction build us a screened in porch! I absolutely love the job that they did, and couldn't be happier with the end results. They listened to what we were wanted, and built a top quality porch.
If we had any questions, Robbie was quick to respond and showed up everyday to make sure the build was going as planned! Jennifer, works the office and kept the schedule to fit our needs. This is where I live now! I highly recommend Southern Woodlands Construction. Thanks Guys!
