The technician Steve that came to my home was very rude to me because I told him to wear a mask before coming into my home. He argued and went back and forth with me cussing me out telling me that he gets paid regardless if he comes into my home and fix my plumbing. Very unprofessional

Last year I got bids to replace a plumbing stack in a bathroom I was renovating. RR was reasonable, not the lowest but far from the highest. They did the work in good time and professionally. This Spring my main drain went out and David worked with me to save some money by doing the excavation myself. In August, my main supply line leaked and I had to call for a Leak detector to locate the leak. Once it was found, at the base of a 100 year old pine tree, Ben and Carson ran the new line around the tree roots. ASAP.
Despite my positive experiences with RR, I hope I never see these guys again. But, if I need a plumber, these are the ones I will call.

Steven was great! He came out at 10p one night...wasn't able to fix it but promised he would be back the next morning. He did come when he said he would and had my problem fixed within 30 min. He listened to me and explained all that he did! 5 stars all the way!

Met with the supervisor after having the team search for pipes, and contacting Tallahassee utilities. This company was the most helpful, no need for ghostbusters these guys are it!

Steven was awesome! I moved into a new home, and couldn't figure out why the faucets weren't working properly. Steven came in, took the time to see the issues I was having, and explained clearly why the pipes were clogged (new home, so there was trash in the lines). On top of fixing that problem, he helped me check the water heater levels and turned it on so that the hot water could start in 30 minutes. He was professional, friendly, took the time to explain the processes. I will be requesting Steven through Roto-Rooter next time I need plumbing services. Thanks so much!

Tim from Roto Rooter did an incredible job, when both my showers starting spewing up debris and muck in our new home. He came during late hours when no one else would; he was efficient, easygoing, trustworthy, and hardworking. Highly recommended especially when there are so many sub par plumbing companies around. 5 stars only bc there isn't a 6 star rating

Used RR in the past with no problems but this last time was a struggle. Called on weekend. Came out first thing Monday, they needed a part, so they Said give us a week for shipping. 1 week, nothing. 2 weeks call in and nobody has answer about the part, third week called daily and part still isn’t it and/or the tech was out that week. My renters sat for almost 3 weeks without hot water because of a that missing part.

Another tech comes to service as part comes in. Wrong part and/or missing another part, need another order. I end up ordering direct from manufacturer. Arrived next day.

So either they forgot to order part and lied about it or lost it in wearhouse. Either way, way too long to wait for a part.

Another part of the water heater broke while waiting for the first fix. They came out and fixed it next day. Charged almost $60 for a $10 part, plus 2 hours of work ($250+) to replace a gate valve. LOL - Asked me to pay the bill without sending me an invoice (Friday). Called on next Monday asking for the invoice and the guy asks me “what’s the invoice number”… for real???

Finally get original issue solved after my renter called them daily. Quick to ask for payment but always have issues sending me an invoice first. doubt I’ll even see it beforehand and sure they won’t offer any discount for wasting our time.

Terrible internal communication from techs and dispatch. Terrible communication to customer. Will not being using any more in the future.

This company is HORRIBLE. DO NOT USE THEM. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT USE ROTO ROOTER! TOTAL SCAM. They sadly ripped off my elderly mom. She is 89, needed a new faucet that was leaking. She unfortunately called this company. They came out, left to get the cheapest most basic faucet, returned and installed this ugly outdated most basic cheapest faucet that cost $39 at Lowe's and charged her $800.00!!! No lie. They charged her $800.00 to install the cheapest faucet! And NO RECEIPT! They gave her no receipt! Like who does that!? If I could rate this company lower than one star I would. To take advantage of an elderly woman like this is criminal. She was robbed. There are plenty of other plumbing companies in Tallahassee. Stay away, far away from this one. 😞

I had a fantastic experience with technician Steven Short. We had a clogged drain. He was personable, informative, and didn’t mind my hovering over him to chat while he worked in the heat. He came early, was quick & efficient, and exuded wonderful customer service. On top of everything-the price for the service was very reasonable. Thank you Steven for being the professional that you are!

We had a leak,I reached out to roto rooter,had to send pictures , and explain the issue in detail. I was told I would hear back by the afternoon with a next morning appt.I was never contacted, what poor business standards, that as a potential customer I dealt with. RIDICULOUS! I WOULD NOT EVER CONSIDER THIS COMPANY to do anything for my home. Thankfully, we reached out to Cooper plumbing, and they were professional, efficient, and ready to do the work!

I should have read the reviews, the absolute worst service. Charged $300 to fix a leaking faucet, kept leaking, came back to fix leak, (under warranty), left, and the leak is worse, came back again, said the leak couldn't be fixed without digging deeper and would send me a quote, while I wait with a still leaking faucet, and the manager Don, refused to refund my money. I literally paid Rotorooter $300 to make my plumbing situation worse. Poorly managed, terrible customer service. I reckon they're pretty great at toilet clogs but I would never recommend them for anything else plumbing related. Zero stars

The first time I used RR they were awesome. I decided that anytime I needed plumbing to call RR even though they’re expensive they come out quickly and seem knowledgeable. It’s hard sometimes to get people to come out to my area so knowing that a company will come out is important to me.

I had RR come out a second time yesterday and they were horrible. They made a mess and left trash everywhere and one of the plumbers used the toilet and peed everywhere, on the seat and the floor it was disgusting. When they were done with the repairs to make sure the water was turned on, they turned the water on in the bathroom spraying water all over the drywall I just hung, the sub floor and wall joists and the back of the drywall for the kitchen.

I ended up having to call a plumber again today because my toilet started leaking really badly overnight. I decided to call RR one more time to give them a chance to redeem themselves. The plumber who came out today was fantastic and did an excellent job. I’ll probably keep calling RR for plumbing stuff.

Christian was amazing! He did an amazing job. Answered all my questions even showed me. Will definitely call on him again if I need any plumbing services. Pricing was also great. Thank you Roto Rooter!!! 👍👍

We called them yesterday about a leak under the kitchen sink. They called me this morning about 8:30 to let me know they were on the way. A few minutes later Travis showed up, found the problem, shut off the water, replaced a part, and was gone by 9:05. He was friendly and professional. I highly recommend this business.

I can personally say that they are some of the most hard-working people I’ve ever seen in my life, but after working there for six months last year, I can say that definitely not a place for a woman and I’m the least sexiest person on the planet. it’s just facts. It’s a male dominating job and one of the people that worked there that’s probably gonna work there forever is not the most friendliest person or the easiest person to work with and I think that ultimately is why I really never wanted to come in, but other than that, the owners are amazing people and the servicemen are outstanding and so kind and the construction guys and the supervisor Dean just amazing. I always admired all of them very much and that part made every day worth it so I would definitely go with them.

Knowledgeable and have all the parts for my well I need.
