First, I must apologize for the length of this review, but I must share the great experience with a tree service company I recently used.

After a tree crashed through the roof of my commercial building, I realized that several trees needed to be removed from the property. There were 3 large water oaks in the rear (north) and very close to the building as well as 7 additional trees on the west side of the building. So, I started gathering estimates. I had an ideal that morning the company I most likely would select, since I expected their estimate would be inline with others. In fact, I was ready to sign, until I met with Dominick from JASON HAMILTON TREE SERVICE and received his estimate. This was a new unknown company (for me) however their reviews were excellent. I signed the contract and I was not disappointed.

• Communication was frequent from Jan and/or Dominick (Project Lead) to discuss all of my inquiries, scheduling, etc.
• The proposal was for the removal of 10 trees, clean-up, debris haul-away, roof clean-up
• The proposal also included crane and other equipment rentals
• Prior to start of the work, the septic tank was identified and high-lighted.

The 7 trees on the west side were pretty much in an open space. But the 3 oversized (large) water oaks were directly behind the building. Being so close to the building, I wondered how they were going to reach and remove those trees without hitting the building. Well, this team is very professional and knew what they were up against. They did a great job and nothing was damaged!!

As I completed my walk-through after the work was finished, all I could do was smile like a kid in a candy store. I was totally impressed with the completion of this job, including the clean-up. This team did everything they promised and ON TIME.
I received a total of 3 estimates prior to accepting the estimate from Jason Hamilton Tree Service. Obviously, this company is able to remain competitive because they have figured out how to get the job done smarter.

Initially, I was only going to have the trees cut down to the stump. However, the cost estimate quickly became a cost savings and did not exceed my budget so I was able to add stump-grinding to the project.

If you need tree services offering reasonable and fair pricing, I highly recommend Jason Hamilton Tree Service.

Jason came out to look at three trees overhanging my master bedroom from my neighbors property. I originally just wanted them trimmed up like I did last year. Jason asked if I liked the trees and I was not a fan. So he quoted to remove the trees instead of continually trimming them back.
His guys came out and built a plan then adjusted quickly when the trees had other plans.
Jason Hamilton Tree services does great work and let me sleep a little easier at night.

Jason Hamilton Tree Service was fantastic! I called and spoke with Jan to schedule the free estimate; she was just a delight. We had already obtained estimates from several other well-known companies in town. Mr. Hamilton personally came to the job the very next day to provide the quote, which was hands down the best price we had received for the work we requested. The job was started and finished the very next day. The workers showed up on time and everyone on the job was polite and professional. Jason was present the whole time. We had 2 extra-large and 2 large Water Oaks and 1 large Cherry tree removed. We also had 2 Live Oaks that hung over the house trimmed to remove some dead wood. All debris was cleaned up and hauled away. They blew off the roof, porches, driveway and other areas in the yard. I’m not exaggerating when I say they left the yard cleaner than it was before they arrived! The lower quote didn't mean that I had to lower my expectations, in fact their service was exceptional. I have already referred their services to others and my neighbor hired them the very next day for another job. I can't speak highly enough of this company, the workers and everyone’s work ethic. If ever I am in need of tree services in the future, Jason Hamilton Tree Service will be the only call I need to make!

Great experience! Called for an estimate but the price was so great and Jordan said he could take care of it right away! He worked quickly and efficiently and neatened the wood chip piles afterwards. Highly recommend!!!

I like texting, allows contractors to respond on their good time, and not have to answer a phone. Quick response back. Had an opening in the afternoon can you get any faster???

Jordan came out and handled it so fast I felt bad, to save my back, i had take care of some smaller stumps. No problem.

Mr stump was great. Did a great job taking down a tree in a confined space in front of our house. Even pulled up a small old stump for us. Cleaned up and hauled it all away for a great price. Will definitely call them when I need another tree or stump removal done

A very nice man, Jordan Powell, came to our property to give us an estimate on grinding a stump that was in a fairly difficult place next to some asphalt. He quoted us a price and we agreed to allow him to do the work. Since he had the equipment there right then, he unloaded and ground the stump rather than return another day. From the time he spoke to us to him leaving with the work complete was about 30 minutes. We are well pleased.

Fantastic customer service!! Mike came out and gave me an estimate. In an couple of hours Spencer and the crew came and took care of two trees that had fallen and also cleared up some branches that had overgrown in two locations. They even got the gate to the driveway, which had been a problem to open, to open all the way. All this was done in less than an hour. Everyone was very professional and courteous. I highly recommend Mr. Stump for all your tree and lawn care needs.

I LOVE Mr. Stump!!! He does great work. He is HONEST, FAIR, and TRUSTWORTHY. Aside from the missing stumps or trees you would never know that Mike and his team were at your home or place of business. I highly recommend Mike Nissley and his team. He serviced my business the day before Hermine hit Tallahassee and cleared out some trees and cleaned out a lot of branches in our live oaks. We had one branch fall during that storm. That is a testament to me of the quality of work that he performs. I highly recommend Mr. Stump.

I am a repeat customer and have had experience with three other tree services in Tallahassee. In the last instance, Mr. Stump dropped/removed 19 mature pines.

Mr. Stump is exceptional. Work done as agreed to and at a price that is fair to the business and the customer. Efficient. Business-like. No excuses. No drama or issues like I have encountered with other services (e.g. confrontation and cursing among workers, property damage, arriving unprepared).

I had the opportunity to use Mr.Stump twice now, each time Mike and his crew were very professional. They cut down four trees in total for me, trimmed up two trees and ground down all the stumps. After hauling the wood away they cleaned up like it never happened. They were very detail oriented and more than reasonably priced.

I was well pleased with my 1st experience with Mr Stump! Mike, Spencer & Jordan were great to work with, & they are reasonably priced. I appreciated their helping me schedule around the weather & the "Call Before You Dig" folks, and they were on time too! Jordan left my place clean and neat as well - always a plus! I highly recommend them.

Mike and his team are amazing! Came out the same day we had a tree fall on our storage shed. Saved the shed by acting quick and bringing a crane! Awesome work - highly recommend!

Mike was able to fit us into the schedule the same day we called! Logan and Eddy did a fine job grinding out two large stumps,, one of them in a flower bed, with minimal damage to the nearby plants. Fair price and fast work.

I highly recommend Mr. Stump! From the first time I spoke with Mike until Jordan finished the job, they were both professional and extremely knowledgeable. They did a great job grinding a large pine stump, while taking care of the surrounding landscaping. I am very pleased with their work and will definitely use them again in the future.
